  1. I have garlic in a lot of food. Infact I'm always throwing it in when cooking. Echinanea was recommend to me by someone who swears by it and to be honest it seemed to work for me. Unless it was just the vitamin C all along....
  2. Due to constantly getting colds from the air con at work a few years ago my doctor advised me to up my intake of vitamin C so I take one a day tablet and eat oranges throughout the week. Also had a stint of taking echinacea to build up my immune system and now *touches wood* I hardly ever get a cold and if I do, I recover within a couple of days, whereas before I would be out of action for like 2 weeks with the sniffles.
  3. Well, I don't like it. Can't see the point. Firstly, I think the iPhone is an amazing bit of kit but the iPad disappointed me. Some of the basic things it should do are not present. I can't really see the need for one? The great thing about the iPhone is that is small, can fit in your pocket and can do what you want on the move. But the iPad to me just seems a bigger annoying version of it. I also think that you won't be able to take it out for fear of getting mugged (well I wouldn't want to) so you may aswell buy a laptop which will be cheaper and can do a hell of a lot more like MULTITASKING. Also saw this funnies (apologies if it's already been posted): Oh and I don't know if you guys who were saying macs don't have a right click were being serious or not?? but they most certainly do. One button yes, the right hand side of that button is right click. Simple to use really.
  4. Happy day of birth Flinkington, you sexy human being you. X Hope the missus spoiled ya
  5. Damn that is a great find. Already have season 1 but have just ordered the others. Awesome. Relive childhood ahoy! Same prices on Play.com too.
  6. Looks pretty good. On the vehicle issue, if this is set before they came to Earth then don't forget they wouldn't have taken the form of the Earth vehicles so Prime wouldn't be the truck. In the first ever cartoon (which I have on video somewhere) they start off on Cybertron transforming as strange futuristic cars and spaceship/plane type things if I remember rightly. Then when they get to Earth they are like hey we better like blend in and change to a truck, army jeep, beetle etc. Or perhaps even if it is set after they've been to Earth, when they get back to Cybertron, Prime is like, you know what transforming into a truck on this planet is pretty pointless. I'm gonna be some kick arse car thing to get around easier. That's cool by me.
  7. I found this hilarious http://www.totallycrap.com/galleries/gallery_facebook_revenge_hook_up_list/ Although I did have to google what the hell V-Cord ment. The comments from friends (some of who are on the list) is great and the guys response to his sister is great aswell. AWESOME if not a little weird to do that to your own sister.
  8. That is some good organisation. Marriage next.

    SNOW!

The Snow is getting annoying now in London. We have lots of hard icey snow bits causing havoc. So it either needs to dry up and go or there needs to be some nice new fluffy so coming down heavy to give me some proper snow to play with. Commuting to work all week was a joke with the trains. I want a snow day off. So bring it Mr Cloud.
  10. It happened on the border of Cabinda (provenance of Angola who are trying to become independent) and DR Congo. Apparently the team had been staying and training in DR Congo which I always thought was a dodge place to be anyway.
  11. Shocking. Raises serious security question doesn't it with the world cup round the corner. Yes I know it was no where near south africa but still England vs USA has gotta be of security concern. Hope all the players are going to be ok, very shocking news. To be fair why the hell was they staying in a place like the congo anyway?
  12. I use Avira Antivir personal. It's free, has daily definition updates and recently come out of top against other virus checkers including pay ones... Plus the virus scanner bit is called "Luke Filewalker". I couldn't resist http://www.avira.com/en/download/index.php
  13. Got mine too! Thought it may have been a big one and my Avatar would jump on and ride around but it's still pretty cool.
  14. I play weekly with friends for money. Started playing about 4 years ago and love it. Much prefer "real" play instead of on the internet. Internet just doesn't have the same vibe. We usually all stick a fiver or a tenner in a pot and winner takes all. We also have a league system with points for 1st, 2nd and 3rd and for a highest hand in a match. We play up to 30 points and the winner gets a trophy We are poker geeks. Went vegas last year and played. Was so good but very hard and serious.
  15. Sounds like your laptop to me.

  17. Just got my best ever kill/death ratio. 40 - 4. And with that I think it's a good time to quit and go to bed
  18. Just had team deathmatch on Rust. Didn't think you could? well it was the first time EVER that I have had that level on deathmatch.
  19. I would back that. Made it to No. 18 today so with a campaign behind it, surely it can't fail. Best Xmas song in my opinion. Love it.
  20. I love it. I really can't believe it got to number 1. Awesome hearing it on the radio after all that rubbish I just sat through. Internets wins! Little bit of history made this week. The power of Social Networking, the first ever download only song to reach number 1 (I think?) and a big Screw you to X factor manufactured rubbish. And not forgetting over £65,000 raised for Shelter.
  21. HAHAHA we did it. Awesome. Screw you X factor.
  22. WTF is this Peter Kay song. It's MENTAL.
  23. Can't believe I'm listening to the charts. Some of these tracks are shocking. People do narf buy some rubbish. Did I just say "narf"? ha..
  24. Got thrown into a crazy never ending unlimited ammo game on RUST the other day. Took a picture of the scores. I left soon after. It was like die, spawn, die spawn. Ridiculous.
  25. Another site reporting these figures: Rage Against The Machine: 502,672 Joe McElderry : 450,838 Lady Gaga: 61,677 Peter Kay: 52,605 Pogues: 18,457 Mariah Carey: 16,449 Not sure how reliable they are or what the hell the site is and how they found the figures but interesting nonetheless. http://www.tellybetting.com/2009/12/christmas-number-one-sales-figures.html
