I know it's not ever going to happen, but man I wish the gamecube controllers would remain compatible with the WiiU for virtual console games. I love those controllers so much. Also that lineup IS really weak, aren't people tired of playing balloon fighter, donkey kong junior and excitebike by now haha? I already have all these on my 3DS and there is no way I would ever buy them again. I am however looking forward to playing earthbound. It really does seem august would be the best time to pick up a WiiU, most good stuff appears to be coming around that period.

Aaah so many many many awesome games. I still think the DSi is the best designed handheld ever.

I rather buy this game and support the developers, scumbags on the top aside, this game remains brilliant artistically seen, the demo I played in stores was one of the most beautiful games I have ever seen in my life.

Nevermind what I posted, the following is stated in the explanation on the Nintendo UK website: SOOOO that means I could go for Animal Crossing, but I'll be picking up Donkey Kong Country instead :p REALLY a great promotion!

Going for Animal Crossing: New Leaf might seem the best decision, but the action stops at June 30th. It seems you can only redeem your codes after that date. I can't wait that long for Animal Crossing haha!

I actually wouldn't mind buying it digitally, but I don't own a mastercard or visa card and shops here in Belgium don't sell nintendo eshop cards :/

The wind waker always will be my all time favourite, but I think Skyward sword and Twillight princess did an amazing job too. I just think all these games are so perfected, so polished, that choosing between them is a matter of taste. So I don't really feel like one of them is ultimatly better than the other ones. I am however very convinced that Fi being annoying during the game was nintendo's intention. It made her feel so lifeless like a computer, and god that contributed so much to the ending of the game. I just feel that it wouldn't have been possible to give Fi's slumber such an emotional impact without her suddenly feeling happiness. The contrast with her former behavior just totally made that moment magical. So yeah I really believe that skyward sword will be looked upon as a classic in the future. I'm certain of it, WW and TP also didn't get all the appreciation at launch that they are getting now.

Aaah I really want to get my mits on this game! But as usual the stores here didn't receive it in time... Will probably have to wait another week. Off to playing the demo! again

After seeing the 3D video on the 3DS screen, all my doubts are gone. This game looks fantastic, music sounds fantastic, gameplay looks fantastic! Can't wait to see more of this game, let's hope it ends up being as good as it's precedors

I know that , but it wouldn't be the first time Europe has to wait a couple more months..... They should have given Europe a release date too, and not anouncing one here just makes me more suspicious we'll have to wait even longer. Also, August isn't the WiiU launch window anymore XD

Very good nintendo direct overall! I'm really impressed with Mario & Luigi: Dream team, the game looks amazing both visually and on gameplay! The only thing that is not ok: showing off Pikmin 3 once AGAIN, without even having a release date. seriously they should just not talk about this game anymore until they finally sort out when we are getting it. One thing that suprised me: No flipnote studio 3D mention/ release date. Doesn't really matter though, we know it's coming this summer.

I LOVED the DS version (never played the SNES one), but I'm not really fond of the way Yoshi looks in this game. It's like he doesn't fit in with the backdrops. I just really feel sad that sprites are being dropped out of every game suddenly, while I feel it would look much superior in this game than the pre rendered 3D sprites they showed off now. But if the gameplay is still as good, and the game has some new stuff, I'm looking forward to play this!

I'm really upset. "It's still a few months away" They better make this a brilliant game for taking this long. I want a WiiU with my pikmin haha!

It looks decent, but to me it just feels a bit generic and bland. I can't wait to see the 3D video on my 3DS when I get some acces to wifi, I guess I shouldn't judge the graphics before seeing the game running on the 3DS itself. I do wonder though, is this supposed to be THE original Zelda game for the 3DS? Or will they still release a unique title after this sequel. I would really prefer that.

I've honestly never even heard about anything like that here in Belgium. Most stores here do have some waiting benches in the changing areas. I go shopping with female friends from time to time, and that never gives problems. There also aren't any security issues, or not that I've ever seen.

I really want a release date for flipnote studio 3D, and localisations for Default Flying Fairy and Fantasy life. (But a megaton anouncement wouldn't hurt either :p ) Too bad this isn't for WiiU though, I'm desperate for a Pikmin 3 release.

Ugh there absolutely should be no reason this would not come to Wii U, otherwise it's totally ridiculous! I'm realy looking forward to this, if it is released for WiiU, if not, well that's a shame.

Yeah haha especially on our own paintings! I really was surprised by seeing some of the times haha! I'm also really happy with the customisable layout of the buttons, and the tag feature!

Has anyone tried out the update yet? It's pretty amazing they implemented all these extra features for free!

Well I guess they can't keep it online forever, but wow isn't this kind of early? I mean the DS games are way older, and things like Wild World or Mario Kart DS still work online.

Aaah Wii Connect 24! Does that mean you won't be able to send messages to each other anymore? Or receive content while your Wii is in sleep mode (like letters from friends in Animal Crossing)?

I don't think the fetch quests are back. I think the tasking system would be kind of the same as in Wild world and City folk, where you randomly have to deliver a package or letter from time to time without the ability to specifically ask for a task. This is new though:
