There was a Doom game on the 64, so I don't doubt that they would release one for the rev.
-
If you are getting a secondary console, which one will it be?
Link replied to Dawn's topic in Other Consoles
Rev all the way. I won't buy a PS3, but I would atleast consider it. I would never in a million years get a 360. I hate the xbox and this seems to be more of the same.... -
You just call it a different name...maybe that's how you British work? Always trying to be different. I've studied in Canada and the US and every text book calls it the "NORMAL" force. I'm not saying your "contact' force or whatever is wrong, it's just not what everybody else calls it. What is A2 physics anyway? I go to Concordia University and I have no clue what that is...or is it just a different way of calling a certain course?
-
You're right! It's called the normal force. It's just the force with which the Earth pushes back on you. If you're just standing around, you're not moving hence all forces are balanced and the normal is the exact opposite of gravity. I did this years ago in high school, but I still use it now as an engineering student in university.

I agree. Although the quality wasn't the best in Ocarina of Time, it's still the most memorable.
-
I agree. The controller itself is good enough for me!

I'm not trying to insult anyone, but do any of you have girlfriends? I know I'd rather look at mine than a videogame character...

Can someone please just tell me what's so great about the 360? It's only got better graphics. If that's what you're looking for, wait a while to get a PS3 which will make the 360 look outdated. If you're looking for online play, why pay for it. Nintendo wi-Fi will be free (and probably better than Xbox live). To top it off, Nintendo have the best next-gen controller. So I don't really see anything that great about the 360 and in my opinion, there's no point in buying one.....

lol...that's great

I'm so happy to be Canadian. We don't worry about all this stuff over here.

I think that things are gonna change with the revolution. When developers see how well it's gonna sell, they'll port all the ps3 and 360 games and make exclusives too. It's happening with the DS. Look at all the games it's getting.

Dude....she's a videogame character.

I think religion is a sign of human weakness. Many people are afraid of being alone and not having someone to guide them and lookout for them. Therefore, we created religion to fill the void. When things go right in a person's life, they automatically say that god was looking out for them, but when something bad happens, they just say that is how god intended it to be. I've seen this happens many times. Anyway, I don't believe in god, but I understand why some people feel the need to. P.S: If there really was a god, would preists be molesting little boys in church?

I think the graphics are really going to surprise a lot of people. Everyone keeps talking about how "underpowered" the revolution is going to be, but I'm not so sure about that. I read an article somewhere which stated that Nintendo had found technology to have graphics on par with those of the ps3 without having nearly as much processing power. As I read somewhere..."never underestimate nintendo!"

Overall, the 64 was my favorite, but it was close because games like RE4 and Paper Mario the thousand year door made me love the cube.
-
Don't be so sure about that....I think you might be surprised in the end. I'm sure you're making this statement because of all the sreen shots you've seen right? Maybe you know the specs?
-
You store your downloaded games on an SD card. Then you can manage it all on your computer. This is also cool because I'm sure you'll be able to take your pictures from a digital camera (on an SD card) and put them into a game. For instance in Mario Kart, instead of seeing marios face going around the circuit map, you could replace it with your own picture....we'll see...
-
Do you know what you're talking about? This is Nintendo...the company that has over $8 billion in the bank! They are also the only company that is still generating profits this generation because they aren't selling their console at a loss....
-
You can count me in too!
-
They could always put the controller on a chain or something like they do for the stylus on the DS. The problem will be the same for PS3 who will also have wireless controllers (always copting nintendo *cough*). The only company dumb enough not to launch with only wireless is Microsoft with their core system having cords.

I just want to know if the Revolution controller has made people think twice about buying an xbox 360 or ps3. I know it has changed my views and "conventional" controllers just don't do it for me anymore...What about you?
-
I think anyone who has doubts about the controller should read that article. I never had any to begin with (because after 20 years of playing nintendo games, I've come to trust them) but this just solidified my stance. This is going to blow the competition out of the water. Nintendo #1 once again!!!!
-
Maybe they want to wait for the specs to be revealed and the controller shell. Let's not jump to conclusions yet.
-
That's the whole idea behind Nintendo Wi-Fi connection....It's gonna rock!!

Most people are voting without even knowing the true capabilities of the device. They just see a remote and pass it off as crap!
