I think they'll wait until more has been revealed...like the specs and the controller shell they're talking about before to confirm it. Let's cross our fingers.

I also think metroid will be very close to launch. Nintendo have learned from their past mistakes and they want their launch line-up to pack a punch. I read somewhere that they expect Nintendo to have over 30 games ready at launch (including 3rd parties). Don't know if it's true or not, but it's a step in the right direction.

I guess you're reffering to the revolution of using the same controller for three generations in a row (and for the psp)???? Or that of just making better graphics which anyone can do???

people shouldn't worry so much about 3rd party support. Nintendo did it right this time...they showed the controller to the third parties months ago and as we saw after iwata's speech, many 3rd parties are really excited about getting to use this. Even companies like square enix who weren't too kind to the cube!!! This could be the turning point for nintendo and third parties!

The port on the front is actually for flash memory. It's not a sensor.

I don't think it'll put off many people. Obviously, it'll put off the close-minded ones, but I think this has more potential to attrect people than to be a deterrent.

Changes in the game industry have to start somewhere and as usual, this burden is placed on Nintendo. I say burden because they always seem to get alot of crap for trying new things. But where would we be without them?

After all it is Nintendo, the most experienced game company out there. I for one have no worries and have faith that nintendo won't let us down. They know what they're doing.

I still don't understand why so many people want a "standard" controller. Why are people so afraid of change?

Talking about conectivity...didn't they say that the classic games on revolution will be downloaded onto SD cards? There's an attachment out for the DS called the "play-yan" that also uses SD cards. Maybe it will be possible to download all these games and play them on the DS...just a thought...

Why does everyone take it for granted that sony will be #1. Their console will be SO expensive only the real diehard fans will buy it.

Then why did people "adapt" to the 64 controller and analog sticks? If we just keep using the same controllers, games will never move forward!
