to me he sounded like he'd been awake for about a week. His accent was fine but he sounded really, really tired. There was just no emotion going on. Also, his complete lack of surprise at having giant tentacles from hell burst out from his back made me loose alot of my suspended disbelief.

as far as I know (not got it) it's a totally different map. Before it was a city 'inspired by' New York. this time it's a far more accurate parody of the city complete with the different buroughs and districts being more defined. There's also replica landmarks like times square and the brooklyn bridge.

re: the darkness: The story was alright, but so badly let down by the voice acting of the protagonist that I found it utterly boring. oh well. Other characters- his girlfriend particularly, were far better and more interesting.

I'm gonig to enjoy this. not because I can run old ladies down, but because it might make me not want to. to be honest though, I've always played GTA as low key as it lets you: I prefer keeping my head down when driving about as it lets me enjoy the sights and sounds more. And with a more realistic protagonist, gangsters aint flashy right?

Yeah it's good actually. I'm donig *way* better as Russia than I was as France. I got stonewalled fucking everywhere in that game. also, Turkey is a fun position, and Italy is a nice challenge.
