Been listening to a Warp Records mix album this afternoon. I fucking love Warp- They're just amazingly high standard and fighting the good fight for strong independent companies. Loads of my favourite artists are with them.

it's nowhere near as good as team games. Useful for learning to stand alone though for tight spots!

the good thing about Diplomacy is that it's hard to ever say 'I'm really doomed' so long as you can talk to other players. Good example is my game as italy where a bit of silver tongue work has resulted in a real turn around that may shift the game considerably. Looking forward to seeing what happens next now.

If you like the AK, yuo should see the M16. Holy fuck it's awesome. Also- I noticed that if you shoot cars a bit above the back wheel arches, they explode very, very easily. Presumably, they kept the fuel cap 'headshot for cars' thing from san andreas but made it less obvious. More! Grenades are freaking sweet in this game. Love rolling them out from cover towards cop car roadblocks then making a run for it in the chaos.

ok, I like it because! They're going for a more fable like, fantasy setting in this one. They've said the feeling should be like Arabian Nights or similar. Therefore, the 'painted' look to the textures seems fittingly unreal and, importantly, open to use for truly otherly visual effects etc. additionally, the quasi super human antics of the prince would not lend themselves well to the more or less realistic style of assassins Creed, although i think it's safe to say we can expect an animation system to be borrowed from there, what with it being Montreal's last output.

continued adventurs in ambient music for essays: Auteche's LP Amber is a good choice, although may leave you feeling quite unsettled on the darker, weirder tracks. Everyone should get it anyway.

Ambient Works (vol. 1) is amazing music for essay work I've found. keeps you entertained without being too busy as to distract you.

yeah, from playboy. It's the mission reward. that bit of the game fucked me up. Never felt so conflicted about anything in a game before. I debated the descision for ages, and i'm not sure I made the right one. related: can someone remind me how the executions work? i couldn't get it to work before and i couldn't remember what it said when I did the first.
