Battlestar Galactica Seriously. Anyone not following this is now undeniably missing out on one of the best drama series' of the decade. It doesn't matter if you don't like sci-fi, this is about so, so much more than the setting. it has an amazing cast, great direction and an incredible script. -

the key difference is that Mario had structure, making the collection tasks, stars etc seperate so that the game had proper flow and a good design. Rare's efforts to copy the formula basically broke down by ommiting that system. the result is a lack of clarity, confusion and poor sign posting or guage of progress. That right there is shoddy design 101.

yeah that's what I thought. also, her connection to Christian could mean that if she dies, she becomes part of the Island like he has. The way she was so calm and serene in the cabin made me think that. I reckon she's been a manifestation of the island since her house got hit.

next gen machines won't go past 1080p. Soon enough, that'll be as standard as 60hz. some kind of...level playing field would be interesting, power wise, just to say 'right, now get on with Ai and animation, you muppets' but you'd have to have genuine photo realism as an achievable goal for most developers on the platform before you did that, so we're talking another 3-4 generations, minimum.

no it wasn't. it was a bad mario clone with crap structure, annoying as fuck characters and a reliance on collecting random shit that only an OCD sufferer could love. DK64 was exactrly the same, only worse.

You should try. not a bout stuff you need help with per se, just anything. I keep my cards pretty close to my chest myself but I know I have mates i can really count on to at least listen to me talk shit for a while. It's...liberating. You should try it...

Can we consider dropping the auto merge double post thing? all it's doing for me atm is stopping me posting new stuff in threads like my Diplomacy games that need updating, reguardless of who posted last.
