Yeah there was nothing wrong with KK getting a new set of clothes, but this is absurd. I mean, apart from the fact that the film is still so good, it's very much tied to the music of the time. It could only get worse by updating the OST or, god forbid, make it a musical.

this just in after my first session: Anyone who doesn't love this game as the most immersive, beautifully crafted open world game on the bleeding edge of what videogames are capable of is a moron. This game is fucking amazing

haha yeah. And that's the thing: we're not looking at some outdated movie like King Kong that would in any way benefit from a remake, we're talking about a relatively recent, totally watchable film that in no way needs to be remade when you can get the DVD so readily and just watch that instead.

hmm. Personally, I'm going to enjoy it more if it's closer to an illusion of mutual pleasure. I know it's all fake an so on but it's more of a turn on if it at least looks and (almost more importantly) sounds like those involved, particularly the women, are having a good time. Some poor lass looking like she's about to cry and vomit were it not for the pain killers isn't exactly my idea of a turn on.

Nolan is more than welcome to make another film in the meantime. He's a very talented director and I'm happy to see what else he's capable of these days. I'd much rather that than him being trapped in a passionless sequel contract. I'd also like a third movie, but I'm a patient fan.
