the beta is much improved by hardcore. it's still a bit bland, though.

I have a spiteful hangover. Last night was pretty good: went for drinks with a bunch of mates etc. Some shithead stole my coat though. I love that thing and they just stole it. Cunt. Had some uni mates up for the proceedings though, so they kept me in good cheer. Good times.

to clarify: I post on the Edge forum, which is where they quote the forum topics in the letters pages from. I've been in there 4 times now.

it's sharing a 2 page spread with other features in print. If it was online, I'm sure I'd have more space. I'm used to the tight word counts now-It's how we worked on the uni magazine too so I'm pretty good at it.

on cod 5: it's not actually a particularly bad game...it's just not as good as 4, which renders it a bit pointless. level cap is being raised for the beta soon. Hopefully, the additions will be a bit better.

Getting back in to Deftones today. White Pony is an amazing album, and so far above the nu metal doldrums it's amazing they were even considered part of the genre at the time. It's fucking awesome.

I've already said it before but...Damn I love Kyuss.Heavy, but chilled so the sound just washes over you, fills your brain and you can feel every subtlety in your bones. Fantastic.
