  1. Sup Y'all. So, like. Stop what you're doing and get Temporary Pleasure by Simian Mobile Disco. It's almost certainly better than whatever you have on now.
  2. Yeah they have issues. Tea and Coffee are fine, but I only have 3 cups of anything during the day. Tops. One at breakfast, one in the afternoon and one after dinner with chocolate.
  3. i'm...morbidly single. I'm bored. but! MA a go go. Means I'll be back at uni on a campus that's frankly notorious for hot girls. In abundance.
  4. is that man CGI?
  5. Phenomenal stuff.
  6. TWD is absolutely sick this month. I can't wait to see where this is all heading (naturally, I envisage the future in relative casualty figures etc) LOVED Dale's little outburst. Deadpool is typically awesome this month. His version of 'laying low' as per Bullseye's instructions is just...man it's awesome.
  7. Dude, that's not good!
  8. Are you reading Dark Avengers too? It's a great crossover when you read both.
  9. It's a weird album. It's like an electro mish mash filtered though a boyband production. It's totally throwaway, but not that offensive.
  10. They could, however, do Nightwing or The Sons of Batman.
  11. Coffee is fucking amazing Black as the night, hot as hell and no sugar, for me. It's basically like being punched in the face by a drink. essential part of my breakfast, too. Muesli, juice, some fruit and a proper brewed coffee is unstoppable. Should note that instant coffee is for cavemen and philistines who hate themselves.
  12. mm, quite. Fraction et al are all notable for their lack of exposition mid fisticuffs. It's been a long time since anything like that has been commonplace. The only thing I can think of is Claremont's X-Men Forever which is either enjoyably retro or insufferably old hat, depending on your outlook. edit: should be going to town later so it's TWD day! Huzzah!
  13. You're all being ridiculous. You wouldn't bat an eye if Villan had said that he'd been out and spent £20 on a night out or £30+ on a game. JSA is to keep you ticking over and sometimes that means blowing a few quid and enjoying yourself. I didn't see you all complain when I spent £95 on a Hard Rock Calling ticket, either.
  14. actually I will be looking for a few shifts at a shop or something I imagine. But it's no longer The Thing I Do. Winz.
  15. I'm no longer looking for employment! feels so good that, frankly, I've got a semi.
  16. Pretty fuckin good day! I just got accepted on the MA in Magazine Journalism at Sheffield. YYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEESSSSSS!
  17. uh..dude, he's dying. The reason he's being 'released' is just to attend Ramadan in Libya. As it stands, a transfer to Libyan custody is as likely as release anyway. Probably more so.
  18. ok...good point. damn you, sir! damn you.
  19. Mad Men and Breaking Bad have established them as a major studio now though. I dare say they can carry that weight in to a meeting with financiers and casting agents. I'd expect this to have a bigger 'name' cast than either. to be honest though- TWD's strength is in the everyman nature of its cast. You don't need names at all. I'm just throwing about my fantasy cast :P Wouldn't mind some Mad Men regulars actually. Not that they're not busy or anything..
  20. I'm stuck on the Grimes family though. Lena Headey as Lory might fit. (Lord, she's a MILF. I mean, seriously. Jesus)
  21. The Bends is a blinding second album. Easily one of the best rock albums of its day etc etc. They've moved on though. I think I agree with Paj in that Kid A, OK Computer and In Rainbows are all as good as each other. The great thing about Radiohead is that, unlike most bands, they're clearly such talented musicians that one style is never going to fit them for a particularly long time. OK Computer, HTTT and In Rainbows are all 'rock' albums but conceptually, thematically, structurally and aurally they're so vastly different. Kid A and Amnesiac on the other hand are wildly experimental electronic madness from a band on the peak of their creative bent. That's why they're the best modern rock band in the world, and why trying to rank their albums in some kind of order is an extreme exercise in futility. I just listen to whatever I'm in the mood for, really. Depending on the timing, any of their albums could be their 'best'
  22. oh, fair enough.
  23. wait...buffy?
