They're not actually being shipped. Activision have an el bastardo embargo on this baby so nobody is getting it before Tuesday. All these 'shipped' messages are the game being sent to couriers etc so that the embargo doesn't make the game late.

PC games traditionally run on dedicated servers- ie machines supported by devs or private companies that host the game independently of players. They run a preset variant of the game and individual players just come and go as they please. Console games run on Peer to Peer hosting. Players are put together and the best connection becomes host. Activision have taken dedicated servers out of MW2- which I think is a pc first. Naturally, pc gamers being elitist, unbearable snobs, are upset by this sacrilege, despite p2p being perfectly acceptable for a game like MW2 because They're Better, despite never having tried a console game before

all about the £9.50 sweet spot down my way. I'm convinced I should engage their services more readily, actually. My traditional method of waiting untill my crowning glory erupts in to a kind of anime-esque 'hyper state' known as The Lunatic Fringe is proving a bit shit, really. I look much better with shorter hair.

N00b. Kenneth is comedy gold. HIMYM was good this week. Not great though. I have a feeling that this series is starting to coast along a little- They need to make more of a push back towards the premise of the show now they've established the whole Barney and Robin thing. -
I'm holding out for the WMW HC personally. It's going to be sexy. Good work on the Deadpool and 'vince though. What's everyone reading this week? not looked at the releases yet.

Purple Rain continued to impress and enliven my morning ritual today. You're right that it isn't that Funk, Paj, but not to it's detriment. It's a rock solid classic bit of pop/ rock. Some of it is staggeringly inventive too- especially Computer Blue and When Doves Cry- No bass line? who the fuck thought that'd sound so good? Nobody, but it does and that's why Prince is a fucking genius.

Postal fail! I was gonna get borderlands this week but I decided that, on top of my balls to the wall crazy batshit workload, I'm going to wait for Modern Warfare 2 next week instead as buying both is dumb. err! my day! couldn't tihnk for fatigue in the lecture at 9. Coffee afterwards was like a brain reboot. Now I'm trying to research John Le Carré for a fake 'obituary' article I'm writing. Huurrm. Decided that I rather fancy the idea of writing obits. Could be considered morbid but it's a nice form of research journalism that would tick all my brain boxes sufficiently.

Just make them out of bone. Seriously- go to a butchers and buy the biggest bones you can get yer hands on and carve them in to shape as for retraction....fuck knows. Short of going for the full Travis Bickle, I'm not sure what you'd use.
