    I'm looking forward to picking up a couple of Siege trades. I wasn't totally cool with #4 but the art was brilliant so I'd quite like a copy. I'm also keeping an eye open for when they decide to do Dark Avengers Omnibus

    Yeah I liked that not everything was explicit. Enough was made clear that the dramatic arc and themes all concluded. The rest was, at least, heavily implied and hinted at strongly enough so that anyone can work it out for themselves. obviously some stuff will never be properly explained because, being a 6 year running show that was subject to an unusually high level of studio interference, stuff was dropped here and there from external factors but overall it wrapped up extremely well considering. It's just the compulsions of an ADHD generation raised on blatant as all fuck shows like 24 to have it all laid out for you.

    (500) Days of Summer I liked this. It's not incredible, but it's refreshingly honest about relationships and emotional fuck-over-y. Certain scenes particularly struck a chord with me- I really liked the bit with the party split between 'expectations' on one side of the screen and 'reality' on the other as they slowly diverge. I think everyone who's ever fostered a crush has had that kind of runaway romantic fantasy / ideal scenario that goes horribly awry. Some excellent dialog in there too, here and there. Not too much though, so it's realistic and witty rather than pure, ridiculous fantasy. (Harro, Juno Finally,The use of Hall and Oats during Tom's after-the-night-before walk to work dance sequence was sublime

    I don't really care about what Facebook has on me. Minor hints at my musical tastes, maybe my predisposition to what I post to friends and...that's about it. I keep my profile fairly stripped back- I have next to no applications, I have no financial information on there, I ignore advertising and I generally keep my private life private. Potential employers wouldn't find anything on there (except Ashley's face) that would scare them off from offering me a job. It's a tool. Use it with an ounce of sense and there's no harm.

    I think there's too many people at uni- most of them are just there because they don't know what else to do and the default stance in schools is to say 'go to uni, it's best for everyone' which is balls.

    I didn't, but I was also in the position of literally buying a bookshelf's worth per semester at some points too, so I'm a little different. as you're doing art, I don't see why not.

    Yeah Firefly was frustrating. They got canned just before they went in to detail over the 'blue gloves' guys so the whole show basically consists of vague build up and side stories.
