Right, that has to be the most...actually I can't even begin to describe what I think of this comment, because I don't think there is a word to explain the mixture of annoyance and bafflement I felt. How can you judge the book on just the first chapter (which by the way was absolutely the most perfect intro to the book imaginable)? And the chapter made perfect sense, unless you are, of course, a simpleton or have the attention span of a goldfish. I'm sorry, I just can't grasp the idea that anyone can dislike the book, everyone I've ever talked to who has read it (or who I've made to read it) has loved it. I strongly think you should give it a second chance, because unless you're dead inside, I'm 110% sure you will find it appeals to you in a lot of ways.
