Yeah, thats true, I loved those guys thinking that thats what they we're really like, cause it was pretty convincing... but they seem really quite intelligent people, in terms of how well they talk and also the fact that they're both physics grads, which I guess is better in the long run, because you don't want a bunch of shallow, mindless idiots running a show with that much potential.

It's a full pound cheaper than EDGE last time I checked... The only thing I didn't like about the latest issue is the huuuuuge Amiga 500 features in the Retro section...I mean...have something for the younger readers!! But I'm thankful I went and got a subscription...even though it only takes me a few hours to read cover to cover lol... Still got the first ever issue with a pic of Sam fisher on it .

Well, that really doesn't mean anything since I don't actually believe in "God", but what the hey, I've always seen books as the definitive medium for storytelling without any of the gimmicks often involved with movies or videogames etc...but thats just me...I agree that it sometimes requires effort and there are easier ways to a good story...maybe I was being a tad harsh eh...?

Yeah, thats a bummer, the thing is, I don't have an original Xbox, but I can get an adapter that allows me to use PS2 contollers on an Xbox, this is cause I don't want to invest in another arcade stick, since the one I've got is fantastic. Also, I'm looking to get a 360...so I was just wondering...thanks for the info though . I have to say though, the 360 controller is my favourite controller of all time, all the comfort of the cube controller with extra functionality...

No, I actually thought it was the most accomplished of the 3...but that's just me, a lot of people seemed to find it difficult to get through compared to the first 2...

Get a 360, even though I don't have one, I'd definately reccomend it over the Wii at this point in time...I just had to try out the wii, and it lived up to my expectations...just not for very long, since there are only 2 games really worth playing.

I donno why, but I'm suddenly really looking forward to the next Batallion wars...

Yeah, those are the only two truly great games mags, and maybe retro gamer...Games TM is the best as far as I'm concerned.

Read all of the above, this is just us fucking about seeing as we'd never played the game before, didn't know the priorities and lags of the moves etc, but we'd gladly take you on and kick your ass at hyper fighting .

Thats the one we recorded in school, it's the only one I had on camera. It's pretty shitty, but meh, can't say I care.

Trust us, this was basically our first match after we went on parrying training, and in the excitement of it all we were just messing around (as you can see from the continuous sweeps , which I usually NEVER use), we're a lot better than that, I've learnt how to combo into my super now, next time he comes round we'll put up better videos, a hell of a lot better, I've just been learning specific parries for the supers, this vid really doesn't show us at anywhere near as good as we are, expecially seeing as we play mostly Hyper Fighting. But then what do you know...you play as Q... (kidding) Anyway, it's a lot different to the street fighter we know, and any tips from you would be great . As soon as you start getting properly into 2D fighters you'll see the difference, a hell of a lot easier for combos and dragonpunch motions etc. Try playing Guilty Gear X2 or Capcom VS SNK with a PS2 pad and then an arcade stick, the difference is night and day. Oh my god, that video actually makes us look so bad...lol...ah well, more coming soon!!

Hey guys, long time since our last video, and well, I just got one of the best games of all time: Street Fighter: 3rd Strike on import for PS2. First thoughts: Oh my god, it's so different from Hyper Fighting, me and ben are totally pro at that game, but this totally threw us. Anyway, were having fun getting to tournament level with this, which we're totally serious about, putting a good few hours into it everyday. Heres our first video. I play as Ken, Ben as Ryu. Oh, one of the many reasons I'm kicking his ass so bad is cause I'm using a proper arcade stick and he used an ordinary PS2 pad. I kinda regret buying it at such an early stage, could have got a 360 instead, a better console at this point in time.
