I am very happy with this news. I really enjoyed 0. Need to buy 1 and 6!

Thanks @Hero-of-Time. Looking like I will definitely buy this now.

Sega Mega Drive Collection ( May 2018- PS4/One/PC )
Blade replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Other Consoles
Where's Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles on that list? Also, I wonder why no Switch release? -
I couldn't disagree with this post more.

I am at that High level with the rope bridges on Crash 1 since the summer. Can't be arsed with going back to it. I dont often give up on games but this is on another level.
-
I use my 3DS regularly. Funnily enough I neglected it throughout its life and only played it a lot more recently.
-
Fully deserved! I am really enjoying it despite the slow progress. I am so glad they developed a MH game fit for current gen consoles. Should a MH game be released for the Switch that is similar to the old ones then I am not sure i'd pick it up.

I'm the same. These days adult life just gets in the way. Ive nearly put in 40 hours so far which is quite a bit considering its been out for a month.
-
I'm likely to subscribe...but my wish list is: 1. Party Chat 2. Cloud saves 3. Virtual Console
-
If its anything like Witcher 3 then we are all in for a treat. I'm looking forward to finding out more.

I really enjoyed reading that @Glen-i. A good write up.

I'm really enjoying it. Its such am advancement from the Wii U/3DS games. I have no idea why people aren't talking about it. People are playing it already through their established groups though. I imagine games are being organised via whatsapp, PSN or something. I'm mainly playing on my own but have had some games with lostmario when there is space in his group.

So ive just finished Pukei-Pukei and now at HR3. I'm wanting to game with folks as its a bit dull playing on my own. Do people mind if i see you party chat if i jump in (providing there is space, of course).

My copy has arrived. I also bought a new headset. My body is ready.
-
I will eventually pick this up. I really enjoyed The Last Guardian. I have too many games that I want to play first though.
-
Will I enjoy and follow the story of this game not having played any of the others?
-
I will definitely pick up Kiwami. The rest of the series i'm unsure about. I'm tempted to just wait for Kiwami 2 as I hate to spoil the character development, relationships and ongoing plot by jumping straight to 6.

I finished this the other day. I want to get rid of the negatives out the way first. My initial thoughts of the gameplay were not good. I found the combat system unresponsive and clunky. I also was shocked how restrictive the main open area was as I bumped into invisible wall after invisible wall. This is something that should not exist nowadays and reminded me of PS2 games. The combat became a lot better and fun as more abilities were unlocked. To be honest I really came to grips with it during the final section of the game which was a little disappointing as it was nearly over. The slugger style of Majima is my personal favourite style of combat. The combat though, once you got the hang of it was a lot of fun. Now, in my view, where the game shines is in its story and character development. The story is a criminal gangster power struggle. The range of emotions that it takes you through is outstanding. One minute i'm grinning and the next i'm gobsmacked to wanting to burst into tears. The storytelling in this game is nothing short of outstanding. The ending got me The side quests are also great too. There are a range of scenarios from the most weird and uncomfortable to learning a few life lessons. Some of these are full stories. I found this refreshing after spending 80 hours playing FFXV over the summer that had made me carry out countless boring fetch quests. Overall, I absolutely loved this game. Once it clicks playing through the game is an amazing experience. I now consider myself a fan and I am so glad that I gave the series a chance. I think everyone else should too.

I had to watch the video a couple of times to get what was happening. Looks fantastic for kids. I would have loved it.

I think @lostmario enjoyed it when he played it sometime ago.
-
It annoys me that this game is still being pushed. The game is average at best. Also, its a kick in the teeth for people who bought the game day one.
-
But thats the point, they're for people who did not buy Wii U. I do not see the problem with ports. There are currently lots of "new" games out for the Switch. The console hasn't even finished its first year yet from one developer itself we have had Zelda, Mario, Splatoon etc.
-
I'm yet to buy it. I do want it though but I have just too many games on the go at the minute.
-
I have the Wii U version but only bothered with the campaign. I don't think I did the game justice and I wish I spent more time with it. I will definitely be picking this up!

Around 40 hours. I've been doing every side quest I have cone across. I'm less interested in the mini games if im being honest. I'm really enjoying it.
