all this talk of extrenal HDD drives seems funny to me. i mean, i'm putting my Wii under my telly, i'm not gonna ruin it by having drives hanging off it like the HDDVD drive some people's 360 will have. but that's only a personal note, what i find funny is that unless you are planning to download every single VC game you're not going to need one! the Wii has more than enough flash to cope for the first long while, after that a decent sized SD card (which you know nintendo will release their own of) will keep you nicely topped up for everything you could possibly want!

well maybe that's what put you off. you had no surprises and no reason to play thru the entire game to experience the whole story and how it unfolded on your own. i'd never read the story of a game first, bit silly really. like the girls i live with, they read exactly what's happening on their soaps before watching them lol, why?!

to be honest i have no idea where that was, my friend found it on you tube and emailed me the link today. must be charles martinet as it looks like an official event, and they're unlikely to have someone else doing the voice in that capacity. brilliant tho lol!

i think they're gonna try to appeal equally to fans of all series and comics, and newbies too, remember we have petere cullen coming back (extra exciting for me as he also did KARR in knight rider lol!)

oh i agree, i love down south, the people are fantastic, and it is only a small handful of eejits that continue to argue about the north and south. but yeh let's not get political lol. nice to see more people from here and the south on the forums tho right now, i am going to hand out an apology to metroid, as i was unaware (even tho it is there in the margin) that you are from limerick! i knew this already but forgot, so fair enough you are entitled as hyrule said... but maybe it coulda been worded better...? myself, i made a bad call there, i for some reason assumed you were from another country and were saying these things against another country's language, and i thus reacted to your post badly. once again, apologies to you and everyone reading it.

sadly enough, it's gaming with nintendo that has gotten me interested. i'd love to visit the place, but ideally spend maybe six months to a year out there in a few years time, so i'd have to learn to read it as well. it's only right to be able to, even a little, instead of going over there and shouting slowly like a lot of tourists from britain do :S and metroid, where do you get off attacking the language of someone's home country? yes hyrule and i both live in belfast in northern ireland, and i for one may be northern irish but for all you know hyrule could have come from eire! i really can't believe you came out with what you did! the irish language is indeed old, but it is a beautiful language too, and many people still speak it today as their first or second language. to come out with something like that on a forum where that could apply to who knows how many others on here is ridiculous!

lol, don't despair. when i worked on the railway there were plenty of people who'd have that twang, but no one ever took it seriously. when news got around that societies had started up declaring it should be a real language everyone just took the piss outta it, even those from down round the Larne direction, where they actually have that half-scottish accent too. it's just a joke, and yeh i hope i don't offend anyone either lol! i love the irish accent from down south (particularly on women ) and you're right, it is an incredibly hard language to learn. i'm sure japanese ain't easy either but i still think it'd be easier to tackle it than irish lol!

yeh but remember lorries themselves have changed, so he must too. and yeh he doesn't seem as "armoured" as back then, but remember the comics and cartoons used "artistic licence" to change how the toys looked. if they're making a movie, it must seem plausable that the robot actually came from inside the vehicle.

let's not forget five brand new games to be announced that we don't know about yet. we also don't know about their online plan, the VC etc etc. a lot can be announced.

all pete was doing was reiterating what we all knew already. at least i did, from the night he went in, when it was talked about. you could say he was playing a game by bringing it back up i guess, but that's a stretch for me. nikki on the other hand lied, acted, and manipulated. i really hope that she is forgotten about, 'coz if she becomes a celebrity there is no justice in the world.

i'm sure in this last week everyone was. not just pete. but it was known before he went in that he was suffering from depression about his infliction last year, and he saw this as a chance to combat that ever coming back, so he wasn't making stuff up or lying, he just happened to mention it at the right time. it IS a game show after all! unlike nikki, who just puts on a completely fake act, lying from the moment she awoke to the moment she went to sleep. pete woulda won anyway even if he hadn't brought that up again, coz he was the most genuinely entertaining person in there. him and richard and glyn were the most deserving, if any of them had won i woulda been happy.

precisely haver. she knew what peole are meant to have liked about her and she copied all her old traits in there, and that exit was the most exaggerated piece of over-acting i've ever seen. then trying to get sympathy on the stage by being "too scared" to talk - bullshit! thank god channel four saw through it and near enough chucked her off, even if they did end up running ahead of schedule because of her. pete's exit was amazing, you could tell he was genuinely in shock, and all his running about and comedic trying-to-get-back-in is just his comedy side that we all liked so much, it was the real him enjoying his win back to nikki, you saw her face too when davina asked pete what was next for him and nikki and he said he'd like them to "hang out" - she was fuming! she just saw her money from OK magazine go down the toilet. sicken her! lol! and triforce, people in the house knew she was stroppy, jennie and ash certainly did, so did pete which is why he was changing towards her last few days... but WE are the only ones able to see EVERYTHING, like all the diary room acting she did, and her playing to cameras, the dirty looks, the back-stabbing, it's what big bro is all about, WE get to see more than the housemates (like the one i mentioned previously where she moved to make sure she was on film before throwing a carbon-copy strop a la "who is she?".) she's obviously been told what to do upon her reentry into the house, but she's been caught out.

yeh exactly. and nintendo's build quality is second-to-none, so i have no worries about it being knocked over, it won't. so vertical it is, no matter what pads i use it'll be fine!

then you really should read it fully before posting. hot rod didn't appear in the continuity until way later. but seeing as how this movie is starting its own continuity it seems (fair enough, each reincarnation has done of transformers) you never know. but let's face it folks, people are gonna have to care about the robots in this movie(!!) so they can't introduce too many in the first movie. oh, and can i just say: "Me Grimlock kick butt!"

pete's just a very emotional person, it is something he can't control, and winning meant evrything to him just as it would to anybody who makes it into the final week. besides, in the end he realised that he was being silly over the ash speech thing, he whispered that to big bro... whispered it coz he was getting scared of nikki listening in lol. nikki was a psycho! she's only using him to get publicity anyway, so hopefully pete realises. i think he has from what he said in his interview. pete was the most entertaining (in a good way, rather than in a bad way like nikki) and deserved to win. glyn went thru a journey yeh, and so deserved to finish high, but i feel richard deserved to finish 2nd (with glyn still high in 3rd mind), as he was the only 100% honest housemate, and was more entertaining than glyn.
