  1. I've received two items from the Stars Catalogue (Large Miyamoto Mario Poster, Mario GC Controller) but still have 7260 stars. A chance to convert some of them into VC points wouldbe good, but I'd keep some for the occasional updates.
  2. Seems very similar to Spore. Was this the game that Will Wright basically said was like a prototype to the first 'level' of Spore?
  3. Or, indeed, you could use Urban Dictionary for multiple voted definitions.
  4. Yes - £20.
  5. Graphics are important, but they don't tend to 'win' a game for me. I would sometimes prefer nicely drawn 2D graphics to 3D, but it looks like 2D is a dying art.
  6. Is the footage still up still anywhere?
  7. Was the link meant to go to the new Journal?
  8. I thought it meant Fuck The What the first few times I saw it, but then someone asked and I was enlightened. I still read it as that sometimes, mind.
  9. I'm not sure about other shops, but the Gamestation £20 deposit is refundable.
  10. I forgot to ask what number person I was to preorder at Gamestation when I went on Sunday, but I'm fairly confident that I'm in the first 5 people.
  11. I <3 the new top thing on the boxes, And <3 the art itself. <3.
  12. I'd assume it's A, because it would be all too easy to accidentally flick whilst tilting a level quickly. I could be wrong, though.
  13. The NGamer about SMB: BB article is really good, and has made me very excited about this game. I've yet to complete Expert of SMB 1, but I still play it quite often, especially Monkey Target.
  14. I've already paid £20, so the following is not including that: Wii Fund: £319.94+ Wii Target: £319.94 That includes: 1 x Wii Package 1 x Controller 1 x Nunchuk 1 x Classic Controller 2 x Games* £20 of VC points. *I haven't decided on these games yet. I'm thinking about LoZ: TP, SMB: BB and Red Steel among others. Good idea for a thread and that.
  15. You've argued your point well, but I already agreed with you anyway. The price would only have put me off if it was over £200, and then I would have waited for the first price drop.
  16. London's going to get an event, and I hope I don't miss it this time like I missed the Donkey Konga one at London Zoo.
  17. Cracking idea, that. But you'd have to feel a bit sorry for Ken Kutagari, wouldn't you? Nah, thought not.
  18. It would probably be a good use of a few stars.
  19. Happy birthday to all involved!
  20. The small HMV, yes. A console launch would probably be at the big one. It's always been my intention to go to the launch event, but I've now had a definite 'NO' to me going to that from my mother, so I'll pop into my local Gamestation tomorrow and preorder, making do with launch day instead of event. I'm unsure as to when I'll actually be able to pick it up, because I can't go at midnight (unless my mother has a serious change of heart), I leave early for school and get back late, and then I've got a fencing competition the next day. Also, I don't want someone to pick it up for me, as they're bound to get the wrong stuff or miss out on any special bundles.

  22. I joined on the 20th. It's hard to believe that it has been an entire year since then.
  23. I'm not sure where to preorder mine. I'll probably won't preorder online, but I'm not sure whether I should prorder at the London launch shop or a local games shop (ie Game or Gamestation). My mum is currently dead against me going to the launch, so it looks like it might well be a local shop.
  24. Hopefully I'll be able to go to the London launch event. I've got to find out where it is so I can preorder soon, mind. Edit: Looks like I won't be going to the launch. It's a school night/day, and my mum isn't too keen on the idea, but I'll try and win her round...
  25. I was expecting something a little cheaper, but the price won't put me off.
