  1. No way, they all left??...I seem to remember something about Kittsy having an Island named after him, Isle of Kitts or summit...but damnit, they were the legends that made NGC what it was... I had no idea that some of those had left... I knew that a few had, but when did Kittsy, Geraint and Paul leave?
  2. Another Code. Towards the end, when it's all (finally) unravelling and you know the truth, and when the family's back together. Then the birthday cake bit was a nice, happy surprise.
  3. It used to be full of sarcastic wit, but now that it's shorter, that seems to be... gone.
  4. Well, that cleared it up...
  5. I'd say that maths is quite an important aspect to programming, if that's what you wanted to do. Doing it to A Level might have helped, but I'd doubt it was necessary.
  6. That is just one of the aspects. It was picked up on by someone in the EDGE article, but there are many more things to do, like testing every single coin in a game to make sure it works.
  7. Not really. Sure, I've become quite excited about a few games and the Wii, but it hasn't exactly inspired me. I have started playing through LoZ Wind Waker again, but that was more because of the thread asking which games to play before the Wii comes out.
  8. I've heard from a few people who've been games testers, and they've said that it's a dull job, nothing like just playing games. However, it's still a fairly good first step on the ladder, even if you do have to drudge through it for a while! This month's EDGE had a good feature on it which is worth a read.
  9. I've got 1 out of 50 Mario posters signed by him, via the Stars Catalogue.
  10. I haven't received mine yet, and I doubt I will.
  11. Good luck! Anyway, everyone (ok, just me then) knows it'll be released on October 27th...
  12. I subscribed to NGC for two years, but stopped when it started getting worse. The writing seemed a bit more sloppy, and the money being spent on each issue was going down, so the printing and binding was worse. I do hope they keep the same staff, as I used to like their writing style, and it is only since Future gave less money that I've stopped reading it. However, I'd like to get this issue, as it seems that it will be quite good. Anybody know when it's out?
  13. Typically I turn it off when I'm not using it, but sometimes I leave it on for a few hours when I want to watch a program/play a non-PC game/read a book and so forth, when I'll be using it later. This is because the system that I'm most often on takews quite a while to get into Windows.
  14. My mother won £50 or so on the Millenium Lottery thingy.
  15. The link doesn't work, but if it's just the white strap thing coming out of the bottom and going around the player's wrist, that was there when they played tennis at the conference too.
  16. You could always write to the newspaper, expressing the truth.
  17. Despite not being exceedingly young, I manage to be the newest member of my family.
  18. I'd think of it as 'If I remember correctly'.
  19. That looked amazing!
  20. I took quite a shine to Syed, and thought he should have won, with Ansel coming second. However, with the current standings, Michelle is probably going to win, even though Ruth seems to have done more in her time.
  21. I'm on the gametrailers site, but cannot find the link to the stream. Is it up?
  22. I don't think I'll be chatting much, because I might miss seeing something. I might have one or two MSN windows open, but other than that, nothing..
  23. Don't you worry, of course Nintendo will just use the Freehand.
  24. Only 1 and a half hours left now... Hopefully it won't be as delayed as it was last year, when we waited for about 45 minutes listening to 3 songs on a loop. Still, it was dang exciting!
  25. I'm home and ready.. Hurry up, 17:30!
