Can't wait to play this later on!

Well having spent a good load of hours with the Switch throughout the day, I can safely say that I think it is fantastic. I completely understand the negatives that the tech sites and people here have posted, but knowing a lot of them could be fixed I have never been so happy with Nintendo hardware. Today I have played Zelda on my TV all day and been completely sucked in to a magical world. Earlier, my partner got home and I cooked us something up and then we sat down and played SnipperClips together. I'd shown him YouTube vids of it previously, having failed to make it sound anything other than shit when describing it after playing it in Manchester and he was a little dubious. He's no gamer ha. Anyway, it was me calling it a night after we got through the first 16 levels. He moaned like a bitch at having to stop and was literally glowing about the game. If anyone is on the fence with SnipperClips - JUST BUY IT. Best £17 you will spend believe me! Then he wanted to watch TV, so I undocked the Switch and boom, Zelda in handheld. This screen is gorgeous. My bf was like 'what the hell is happening with it now?!' I said oh this is handheld mode I can take this anywhere. Mind blown. He really is a technophobe haha. Not even started Bomberman but that's a treat for Sunday (working tomorrow ) as well as 1 2 switch which should also arrive then. I was playing in handheld mode just now on Zelda, and I can't quite believe I have a more powerful Wii U in my hands that I can take ANYWHERE. And have someone play a game like SnipperClips with me ANYWHERE. And then play a game like Zelda ANYWHERE!! Nintendo have truly truly gained that magic back for me with this console. I pray there is third party support, and I pray they just build and build with it to make it the success it deserves to be. I know a lot of people say they want them to go third party. But when they can produce hardware like this it just underlines to me how disastrous it would be to not have Nintendo consoles out there.

Man I'm having so much fun with this. I have spent hours just exploring and cooking and fighting and dying haha. How good is the screenshot on Switch too?! So fluid, shame no Miiverse to take advantage. One of my fave things so far...

That's bull shit. Same with my 1 2 Switch and that was ShopTo! Dispatched on Wednesday too. Really not happy about that they were flawless otherwise.

So I really should give this a try now I have it. But I just cannot get off Zelda!! Anyone had a play yet?!

Don't think my 1 2 Switch is arriving from ShopTo. Ordered last week and it got dispatched on Wednesday but post has been and no joy. Unless it's in with the other stuff but that was dispatched at a different time with different reference. Quite gutted as had plans to play it tonight.

Not sure what the fuck Nicky is doing but he's been hovering round there on delivery 61 for a lifetime. He's obviously having a Domino's the lad.

I've got a grip of myself and fired up Resident Evil 7 to tide me over.

Oh my days this waiting is total torture. I have another 3 hours left before my slot yet I am so tempted just to go back to Argos and do the Switch later. See what I did there.

Well I did it. I went to Argos and picked it up. My carry case... (so so tempted to buy the Switch and return my ShopTo one later!) And some giant Cadbury buttons for later when I want a gaming snack. Come the fuck on half 1.

Just got the email and text. Between half 1 and half 2. Urgh. What to do.

Anyone on ShopTo orders got their one hour slot yet? Nothing for me at the min which is unusual for DPD.

Yeah they had Pro controllers and the hard cases and some other cases too. They had the joy con charge grip and the Switch kick stand for table top mode too. All in stock in all stores across my area. Oh and the joy cons, singular and in pairs in all colours. But not single neons. Just the pair of them. They didn't have the joy con charge stand I've seen online at game etc, but they had everything good to go.

I never considered them as I thought we'd have this stock shortage or at the least they'd only have the console and no accessories. Normally Argos do a lot of 'online exclusives' Turns out they have like everything! Even the Pro Controllers and Zelda so I could have literally just done the 2 min drive at 9, got myself everything I'd preordered AND a neon switch and been done! Still tempted to just do that if my DPD delivery is like 4pm . But then I have no idea how ShopTo are with processing returns. First world problems right here lol.

Argos with plenty of stock it would seem for both consoles and all games. At least in my area. If I knew it'd be that bloody easy I'd have saved myself so much torment and just gone down at 9 and picked one up!

Those having DPD delivery, the DPD app is pretty good if you don't already have it. Doesn't say much at the min but mine has updated to say that my parcel is on its way to the Stoke depot. From there it's on its way to meeeee!

By the time I'd get home I'd be going to bed I wouldn't want to set it up at that hour. But I do go to sleep at 11 latest most nights. I'm so rock and roll. :p

Serebii is doing midnight I believe. i'd have loved to have done one, but I like sleep too much.

Who will be the first outside of the midnight launchers to post the 'Switch Get!' pic?! So excited to take delivery and get it all set up! Tomorrow will be even more tense than today I reckon!
