Agreed! It's always been the series ultimate ending... youtube link I posted earlier. For those of you who aren't going to be able to catch it everyday its all repeated back to back on Dave on Monday night.

Originally when you pressed start it had a PSP that brought am a XMB for Home options but they got rid of it and replaced it with the current system.

Yep that's one thing certainly. Yep that's the rumours... I usually hate laughter tracks telling me when to laugh but love it in Red Dwarf. I think the reason everyone loves the laughter track was because originally it was filmed in front of a live audience (except for the later series) and it made a lot of the episodes, look at Polymorph and the shrinking boxer shorts scene and Rimmer walks in and waits for the laughter to die down and with impeccable timing Chris Barrie delivers his line to set people off laughing...without that the humour seems to staged and written whereas before it was more natural, sterile is a word I'd use to describe it without the canned laughter... As much as I am looking forward to it, I'm am a bit worried about some of things I have heard about it...

Well we are now just 2 days away from these finally hitting...Have to admit have heard plenty of rumours based on the plot summaries given in this weeks Radio Times and based on other things...am a bit worried. Two things I hope they explain the cliffhanger from series 8 and why Rimmer is a hologram again...but I'm not holding out hope... Well my Wii is definitely gathering dust... Since I got my PS3 been using that a hell of a lot more. I picked up HOTD Overkill and loved it. But keep just missing a ton of good games, Madworld being a recent example of a title that if the Wii was my only means of getting new home console games I would have been all over, but in amongest a ton of other things I've just let it go by me after I've seen feedback citing it as a bit repetitive. I'm even playing more PC games at the moment and I only own a Samsung NC10 netbook so its not high end gaming, but indie and casual experiences are something I have been accessing. Use Steam a fair bit, also been using GOG which at the moment offers better value for games I want to play from the past than Virtual Console at the moment. -

Like the design just not sure about the brown...hmmm at first I hated it now its kinda growing on me... Anyway I have my own little blog lethargic gamers...again not trying to compete with big sites and thats the more laid back attitude I've take...tried that with gamingcorner.org and got to the point where some articles were getting 1000 hits a day but that wasn't sustainable...and things like the low number of comments and lack of forum members etc.....so I think the important thing is that you keep with the mantra you have that its just abit of fun and you will enjoy it. -
Really need to get up to speed with this...still not done a lot found the bits of paper after I restarted then can't remember what I had to do after then..but think I did whatever it was...

Well I went to see My Bloody Valentine a few months back in 3D and whilst the film was usual fair for a horror film and it had some very cringe worthy moments. When the 3D had moments that came out of the screen and at you I definitely felt like it was a gimmick but when they were just wondering around and it helped give that perception of depth like when they went behind a wall or such like. In this way I enjoyed it and I think it helps to add to the experience from a visual point of view makes a well shot scene have that bit more about it. It will never make a bad film good and if done well can only add to a good film...

I played the first Godfather on Wii and loved the controls but the game didn't keep me gripped for long enough.

When you back up it backs everything up doesn't it? Game Data Saved Data, Settings? Just checking you don't have to do anything special to get it to properly back up. I've finally got my external hard drive formatted to fat32 and have tested backing up ready for the big 320GB upgrade.

It is a bit stupid...does lead to a more wider spread question...who knows in the future if we will even be able to play such consoles...there may come a time when TV's don't even have the sockets in the back for such things...good thing I've got an old spare CRT tv up in my loft with its built in video recorder... will still need to pick up a scart cable as the wii one obviously doesn't work and i sold my cube due to space constraints (girlfriend) which no longer apply.

Does it work basically? My brother borrowed it years ago and finally gave it back to me. Does it work just curious because of the problems you get with 50hz games on Wii with VC...but does that apply? Will it look janky and shit? I need to order a SCART cable though for it... Been thinking of playing OoT again...what better way to do so than the way its intended in the original form.
