strangely enough, the big uni cities I've been to can all say "we have seriously dodgy areas!". I don't know why it is - my mate at Portsmouth Uni, who studies psychology, reckons it's something to do with the rapid population turnover aggrovating the permenant inhabitants. Or something.

... but I agree with Mr_Odwin. all those involved are willing - sure, Endemol are getting money out of the situation, but it could be a hell of a lot worse - Bumfights springs to mind as a 'show' that actually took advantage of the people. Nobody has to watch it. Is it really fair that we blame the suppliers of entertainment for the moral or ethical issues? Surely taking that line is the same as having a go at violent video games/movies? I think the ball lies in the consumer's court, ultimately. Having said that - I won't be watching *insert some sort of John Locke reference here...*

One thing I certainly noticed - Walt's voice is breaking, go pubertaaay. I fell for all of the tricks the show had to offer- i thought everyone was shot, and i thought the flash-forward was a flash-back. I like the idea of them, so now i guess we'll have the Lost tapestry unravelled from two directions. Totally not a satisfying ending, to be honest - TOO MUCH I WANT TO KNOW! .. And why didn't charlie try swimming out of the window once the room was full? I would have.

Awesome episode! Main thing that annoyed me? Peter's hair. i swear it's a lot longer than it should be. Looking forward to the generations episode. I hope we get to see more about everyone's parents. I'm guessing the solar eclipses are peak hero-producing times, or something. I agree that Matt and Nikki have a lot left to give. And remember something else Dante posted before - that the fight scene between sylar and pete in e20 was cut short because they wanted to save it for later... i'm guessing we'll see a better fight in series 2. And sylar was killed the same way that Isaac drew in the comic, which incidentally sylar now owns! Gotta wonder how different the future will be now... HOW LONG TO WAIT AAAH
