Of course, they have a lot of supplies, and also are members of fairly large tribes, so they could retaliate and kick. My. Ass. ... It's all good :P I've got two more days of NOTHING so I'll rape, pillage and destroy all I can.

well today's been a good day. I'm now the strongest village around for a few squares... Just overtook the other fellow by 10 points as he's clearly idled/had a life today! I'm going to research scouts asap and go have a gander at his village.

Got a little system of raping the nearby lower levels now. There's only one guy close to me with a higher score. I hate it when everyone is a high enough level to start attacking each other

Tbh i'm not sure about this one! Surely it's a fairly sustainable thing- trees are planted every year for future demand. Don't think they're hunted too much! If we didn't have xmas, maybe we'd have a lot less evergreens covering the surface? I don't know!
