I don't really play drinking games all that much. I'll tend to drink every turn in poker/chess/backgammon/whatever. I've got a card game, Fluxx, which made for a good drinking game. Each time you make someone win, they do two shots and you do one. If you make yourself win then you do one and everyone else does two. Drinking chess - a shot every time a piece is taken - is dangerous. By my calculations (which are poor), 100x50ml shots =500cl = 10 larger cans. In 1h40?! 26 units if you're using 50ml, equivalent to a 70cl bottle of bacardi rum! You may as well be drinking a pint of vodka. 25ml shots would be 5 cans, which makes one every 20 mins, with strongbow that'd be roughly 13 units, or 13 shots. One of those 35cl bottles of spirits. In less than two hours :P More possible, but still half a pint of vodka.

Don't use quip that way. It doesn't ever have the same meaning as quibble in the sense that you mean, but quibble can mean what quip means, if you follow? Today is Tuesday of Shrove! I shall, for once, apparantly be partaking in the ritualistic occasion of pan-frying amounts of butterbatterstuff for the one-and-only aim; to successfully FLIP. Then a night of dub-step, baybeeeee~ Yestuh-day, coupla old-skool mates came t'sheffield. I was mega-sleepy in t'pub. Had some booze. Met the Sheffield Uni Rock Society and argued with them a little. They are strange. I want to buy the limitud edishun ecks borks! All red-sident evul, liek. I also want to read a book, please. SMILEY FAIL.

Breaking Bad I win at watching it first *sticks out tongue* Plot: Lame chemistry teacher finds out he's got cancer. His wife is pregnant, his son has cerebral palsy and his students have discovered his second job at the car wash. So what to do? Ride along with your brother-in-law, who works for the DEA, and see how a meth-lab is run. While your bro is inside the 'shop' kicking ass, the chemistry teacher spies one of his ex-students jumping out of a nearby window and running away. This 'unlikely pairing' [sic]; a street-wise drug dealer (yo) and a family-orientated nerd is the basis for the whole show. Comparable to weeds (mostly because it deals with 'good' people being forced to involve themselves in drugs. Being a meth-based show, however, they do tend to skirt around the part of the drug world that uses/abuses the drug. But unlike Weeds it's serious *cough* cancer *cough*, and slightly less subtle in highlighting the layman's misunderstanding of the drug world ("I heard they arested this caretaker at a school in canada, and the next day they found over half the students were high on LSD!"). Only 7 episodes, but plenty of "wtf", "woah" and "NO WAI!" moments (notably the openings to e01 and e06), and genius performancy by That Dude From Malcolm In The Middle. I would say watch this show if you like drugs, or middle-aged men lashing out against the culture they're stuck in (Falling Down, American Beauty... die hard movies? I dunno). So yeah. And more stuffshh.

As far as I can tell from the OP, it doesn't erase the memory itself, just the associated fear of the memory. You won't have patches of memory missing, you won't have to have families and friends having to lie. I think! *isn't a neuroscientistamajig* Main thing that I see from this is that surely there's no way of pinpointing which memory to affect. Can you truly relate a few electric shocks to PTSD?

Was a strange episode; slower pacing than recent stuff. Only 4 episodes left ever *sadface* and I just felt that this episode was a bit filler. No doubt a chance for us to catch our breaths before the final straight!

It's JAV :P -- Didn't watch anything last night. Too tired and streams too slow. Currently looking at 2-3 hours worth of patience in order to watch dollhouse/sarah connor/BSG. Which is a bit lame. I JUST REMEMBERED I HAVE COFFEE NOW. I think I might be hooked on the stuff. Played some awesome 1000 Blank White Cards last night. Ate some old chopped tomatoes. Good times. Broke a lightbulb! Listening to that, I was very surprised byhow pop-punk she actually is. It's not a bad song -- the only think I can think of saying (that'll probably offend punk fans) is that she perhaps sings too well for that style. Yes, teh song sounds overly pop-punk, but it ticks the boxes, embarassingly.

Pusher Strung to appeal me by the pegged words of "it's like jumper, but with more psychics" and "the guy who directed Lucky Number Slevin, I was accepting of the chance to see the movie. While the main gripe is with teh lack of depth the movie offers, there are several minor points;

Another match day; unfortunately I personally did not get to participate in the excitement Both leagues top ends are crunching up and defining themselves.The relegation battle in the top league is still fierce, but the promotion from the lower league is solid. I think all three teams, of course Dyson mostly, are going to right fired up next season. I also think this was the week where my position in the the top league was solidified. 4 games left in the season and 7 pts clear of teh bottom... But games against 2 of the top 3 to follow... I think I'll realistically I only need 3pts to guarentee survival, so I guess perhaps my next game against bottom-draggers Tellyn will ultimately certify my safety. I think I'll end up on 23-25pts, and with my team remaining for the next season... I'll try to maintain my team's reputation as a challenging opponent. [/press release]
