The Nintendo Mafia: Battle for Nintendo Land
jayseven replied to Dannyboy-the-Dane's topic in General Chit Chat
Changevote: No vote until I hear from the little furry dude. Otherwise I'll probably vote maase for no real reason whatsoever. But that'll be as good a reason as anyone who is voting because they can't be arsed to read the write-ups and infer anything themselves. -
I don't do anything. Which is bad, because I need to call him and beg for money. Is it bad to try and do that today, then?

if there were no mosquitos then the plot would've been central around something else. I am being silly. Yes, i should play it :P don't know anyone with a PS3 though!
-
Yup. 3 more places to be filled.

The dyson character was misdirected last night by the 'mischeveous' little thing. I think we need to push for the mischeveous little thing to come to light, and it is, I think, the furry little thing who targetted it in the first night's write-up. I believe this is Maase, and am asking him to come forward because I'm not entirely sure about this dyson thing anymore. -
it is - need a full list of 20 players
-
Can I have J? J's my lucky letter :P Wow. Good timing on my part, eh? :P I'll let Paj choose the next, I'll settle for the remainder.
-
Same^. I'm thinking someone put an ad on gumtree with ReZ's number, saying to rick-roll it for a PS3, or something like that.

What would win in a fight between a dinosaur and a whale?
jayseven replied to Dyson's topic in General Chit Chat
Nope. I actually have a whole lot less. I only moderate the playground now. *throws toys out of the pram* -
I don't think there's that much money difference between the leagues, is there? Oddy, can you clarify? I think it's the same everywhere; 1m weekly sponsor money, 200,000 if you do a news report, and then x amount if you play on the pools (forgot to play in the game just gone, and i would've guessed all 5 results). The real money comes from selling players (you get a new youth once a month, for example) and earning distinctions at the end of the season; I think the managers of the top three scorers/assists/points/x11 appearences as well as league winner get cash amounts.

Not sure to be honest. Potentially, yes, what with the fist-attack/karate chop thing. I just don't have a clue who it could be. I keep picturing ganondorf as he kinda wears armour, but it's hard to say. The thing that gets me? This Kid Icarus character protected you three times last night, and tehy know who the killer is on the first night. But do we ask them to reveal themselves, thus put themselves in harm's way, or do we let them keep the killer's knowledge safe for now? You were targetted by wario (garlic breath, pointed-shoes-man), who, I think, you targetted in the first night? Ok, so the little figure (navi?) targetted someone to go and karate-chop the armoured person. They're two separate characters. I THINK. It's a bit hard to tell the agency/subject/object between the sentances (d-t-d's 2nd language, mind you). The armoured person is you, chairdriver, and the karate chopper is the person you targetted last night :| So yeah, chopper is dyson, but what's his role? The person who controlled him, this navi thing, is definitely a concern. *continues investigating the other people that targetted chairdriver* oh, and; We still need maase to clear things up. I think he knows who the 'mysterious little figure' is who manipulates targets. -
Oh - the stats are cool :P I want to get VIP and probably will soon! I mean if you four/five guys all trade players amongst each other, offering deals and whatever, then it gives the rest of us less equality!

I'm looking to see if Mundi targetted you in the 2nd night, Dyson. If he did, then you have no defense, as you are the knight-karate-whatever dude. Any other defense, like who you were in other write-ups? -

I wish I had the power to delete your posts still. it's still not a post worth posting; we have a tenchar limit to stop posts that have as little content as '...' so posting an image to the same effect is still not on. I can still infract people, mind you, so yeah; seriously. Stop doing it. Yes. By me. And now I actually have a blue name and I can't lock it! Oddities. -
I think it's like, there are several lower-tier leagues, and only the winners get promoted - and they all get promoted into the same league, then it's from there they try and get promoted into the next league up. If that makes sense?

also, as far as I can tell, the peach-esque lady killer hasn't, so far, been targetted at all, so get our thinking hats on tonight. Does kid Icarus have just a shield or a sword too? Would he be the link-like character? Or are they still separate? -
I'm not a fan of this 'cartel' that seems to be forming of VIP players :P Don't unbalance the league!

So what if cube can protect? I've said it before, but just because a previous mafia game had a certain role assigned to a certain alignment doesn't mean that it's that way in all games. I don't think the blaster guy is evil, or neutral, I just don't think he really knows what he's doing. Lady-trying-to-kiss is weilding a frying pan,. Lady Armcannon (chairdriver) paralyzed the armoured karate-chopper. Dyson just says 'nope not me' but I reckon it is. Mundi; did you target Dyson on the 2nd night? Vote: Dyson Gizmo said he was misdirected on teh 2nd night, but there's no proof of it in the write up. Gizmo; are you in last night's write-up? -
Win bonus on away games, fo' sho'. Amount depends on who I'm playing, but I never really know if it makes any difference. Training = anyone below their average form, especially the youths, and just generally anyone else if I can afford it.

Sigh. Wattagame.

I appear evil. No doubt. But I love this town! I may cause confusion, but I don't want to see anybody get hurt. Of course, I'm asking for a lot of trust, and I have nothing else to say or persuade, so there you go!

I've been playing the transfer market quite steadily this season. Bought a few players, and my form's pretty good right now, PLUS I got a week 'til my next match so I'll squeeze as much training in as possible... I don't think I need to buy any more players this season. From now on it's about trying to get as much of my squad getting 100% match experience as I can. I'm looking forward to my games against ReZ and Gaggle. I think I've done well against them in the past, but they're bouncing high this season... My xpert rating is 9 now Though apparantly my manager skill is only 4

I would genuinely say that Fallout 3 motivates me to be more aware of what I'd do if a post-apocalyptical world suddenly occured. In the same vein, the original Resident Evil games, too, make me weigh up my habitat for prolongued life with zombies. Beautiful Katamari's narrative father-figure constantly challenges the reason why you even play games, and the script does tend to make me think about life in general... But I really don't think that, besides these examples, I could say my life has been altered or inspired by computer games. Movies? Yes.

Back from party! So I figured, looking at google maps, it was easier to walk to this place than walk to town and get a tram. TRUE - only it takes 30 mins of pure up-hillage, which is mega hassle. Got there, realised after an hour I had no rizlas and I was the only smoker. Hitched a walk with a booze-gatherer; we walked for ages, decided to get on a tram, got off and found the tescos closed, so walked back to where we got on the tram in the first place and went to a texaco garage and got booze/fags there. Met a few new people. One really hot lady, who knew it, and a 'large' girl who was genuinely a really nice person. Made me question what it is that I find attractive in a person, but in the end I still came out of the thoughts thinking that she would have to lose 2 stone before I would consider her. Yes, I feel bad. Tomorrow? Gay pride thing at a park, followed by a potential free party. Sunday? Ex-gf is coming to sheff, yet I've been invited to a pub quiz, so we'll see how that pans out. Generally; tonight was a sort of summary of who would be here over summer; it was nice to know the sort of folks I'll be hanging with. They're good people. Er, yeah. Nothing interesting. Whoops.

Gopherboy; I recently watched the original (which is still massively edited due to madcore rapes) and I don't expect the remake to be any god at all. Sad to hear that it is that bad, mind you.
