    well done rummy - some strokes of genius right there Today is the 'official' deadline. I will do the usual "so has everyone had enough?" ring-a-round now, and see if anyone wants an extension. If yay then we'll give it another week-or-two, if nay then there will be 'til 12 midnight for entries (MY TIME BITCHES). The next bish will be completely controlled by me. I'll set the bishes, and we'll see a return of the old scoring system (points! Nice and complex!), OR A knock-out game, where everyone has basically two days to get whatever BISH (or two) I demand, until only one person is left. Thoughts/opinions, folks?

    Excellent to see more people getting second teams! Unfortunately mine are on fridays along with our n-e games which leads to mega-crazy nervous thursdays :P ... first random event I can remember having! Well I've not got any internet sorted yet, so I guess I need to invite myself over to someone's house before friday! Dan Dare, your mum invited me over for tea and crumpets on thursday. Honest.

    Heh... well that was a major sleep fail. Maybe got 50 mins or so! Tried at 1am but by 2ish I was up and back on here/irc. Read through the nintendo mafia thread, then tried sleep again. Mad loud people outside at 3am 'til about 4am, then bin men came, then general traffic and weird awake-dreams. I DID have an awesome hour of thought about the universe. Lots of inconsistencies but basically I now believe in two 'Gods'; I have christened them Eda and Avem; the philantropical personifications of the two 'elements' that combined, or are combining, if you will, to form the current universe. It came a bit unstuck when trying to apply moralistic imperatives, mind you, so my new religion needs a bit of work :P Wooo! Keys in 30 mins! Cigarette then mild panic then sorted. Off I be going.

    You need to register an account with Q, and then each time you log on you need to authenticate with Q (user/pass). Once you have registered, I can command Q to auto-op you when you've authed. http://quakenet.org/faq/faq.php?c=1&f=51#51 If you use mIRC you can add the AUTH code to the commands, so taht you authenticate on start-up automatically. So there. You asked for it! You'll have to auth and get back to me by 2pm tomorrow :P Else get on Shorty's case, I think he's getting internet sorted a lot sooner.

    MOVING HOUSE TOMORROW. Packed up nearly everything - all that's left is hopefully a box-worth of random stuff in the lounge, a backpack with some clothes and toiletries, a box of kitchen stuff and my bedding (to be bundled up and carried as it is :P)... Got a bloke with a van shifting my stuff for about £15 tomorrow afternoon, but need to pick up my keys at some point. I'm basically looking at living by myself in a 5-bedroom house for about three weeks, with no internet sorted out just yet... I should probably try and sort that out, er, now... FUuuuuuck. HASSLE.

    My second team had a smashing 4-0 victory. Climbed up to 4th place my my next game against the team in 2nd, who were beaten by the bottom team! Excellent. Oh and 5 players and manager position in the x11 too

    For people saying "oh he wasn't a paedophile, he just genuinely loved children..." - I think there's a social stereotype that a paedo is a dirty old man in the bushes who just wants to bugger some small child for pervy, lustrous reasons. I'm trying to say that paedophiles by definition love children, and while I still sit on the fence about the allegations against Jackson, I don't think that's a valid defense for going too far.

    8... 8million?! dude, you can buy some top-quality players for that. Go to the transfer screen and tick the 'affordable' box, arrange results by skill and just SEE... maybe age-cap to 26 too, or even younger...
