Yeah, wes, we're all agreed. Nobody reads the big chunks of text. *ahem* ARG! Managed to get a day off work next week so i can go to brighton and back again. Fare down there is £27.50 advance ticket on teh tuesday... but for thursday there are no advanced fares back so it costs £87 to do the return leg. WtF! I may try and get someone to cover teh first part of my friday shift so I can travel then go straight to work... I may have to megabus/coach it home... That's basically all. Besides the fact that I have between 50 and £100 to last the rest of the month, depending on train ticket price... nationalrail.co.uk is such a shit fucking dick cunt bad bad word blah blah. MIND RAMBLE! So single home is £27.50, single return is £35ish but the site is too stupid to find both at once. Megabus runs from victoria (does it? check that... yes it does) so train to vic from portslade will be £12.50, then coach will be £5, which totals £55... £3 cheaper than two cheapest single fare train journeys. Though nationalexpress coach return journey would be £42. But I can get a national express coach to london for like £2, then for £5 get the other coach, then total cost is around £35. I don't want to travel all day tues so it's a good idea that way. Just utterly bonkers and ridiculous and totally going to go wrong. Ok, well fares can't be much worse tomorrow so I'll just have to go to station and sort it there. Fuuuuuck.

Ultimate Fighter So the prelims finish 7-1 - the last bout was over damn quick - Marcus looks like a pretty good fighter. The preview for next week's ep suggests Kimbo'll be back -- I actually know that he's on the playcard for a future UFC that isn't the UF final, so I guess Dana will give him a contract regardless. (I know, nobody gives a shit) Friday Night Lights So Tim Riggins 'helped' coach... but is it me, or did we not see what he did? New ex-panther on the lion's team is an interesting character, as is the artist helping Matt. Didn't see any of wossername's new school schtuff - but I guess Riggin's new home certifies that daughter's place as Love Interest for now. Also, Landry is clearly going to fall for that girl-with-complicated-surname, or vice-versa... Nice episode again Damn, I feel like I should feel guilty for liking it. -
There were only two of us in the house and we knew one of the other guys was bringing a kettle so we didn't wanna go buy one... Yah. Thursday = Dead Space 'til work, 6-9, then Dead Space, then Book, then sleep, then Friday. Not a great day of action, folks!

^We had a broken boiler for about a month here :P Luckily we had an electric shower too, but yeah boiling water to wash up was a pain, especially as we didn't have a kettle for the first week!

Stef; I bought Lost Odyssey a while back, and to me that is a massive RPG. I'm totally overwhelmed the entire time, and I hate the concept of grinding (lol etc) - I never considered fallout 3 to be as 'scary'. MORE OF MY DAY. So. I am clearly falling for my ex again. We're very natural born killers, honest. But then HGAW (namechange: she doesn't work there anymore. HGWUTBHGAW?) first turned down my appeal for a date, then suggested we meet to get my halloween costume sorted, then failed to turn up and only gave her excuse when i texted her an hour later, then didn't talk for like a week... well now she invites me to a firework's night tomorrow, and wants me to go to her house for cider some other time. Strange lass. I can't do tomorrow because I'm going to a pubquiz with the bloke she fancies from work. So obv. I have no chance here. Or with my ex. But to be honest the drama is all i need. MOAR CIDAR. And more dead space. Surprisingly annoying a game.

Oh, I'd probably agree with that actually. Heroes s01 was so great, with some thrilling episodes (e20 always springs to mind. Oh, petty future, why can't you be more like you said you'd be?) plus the first few eps I watched on a shitty classroom chair in Shorty's room in halls, so there's kinky memories too. uhhh... Yeah. Anyway! if this show wants to succeed for future seasons, it really needs to get a hurry on with establishing the antagonist. I don't think the charlie dude (nor that bloke from Coupling) are really the be-all and end-all, so... yah I dunno.SHHTIME

Cheers mate - I've actually been using that site! That's the description for the Melee Mayhem award that I already had, but queerly the Fire-Arm freedom award (find all guns) doesn't get opened just by finding all the weapons - you gotta kill with each gun. I managed to get the achievement earlier today, though! First proper 100% game I have on the xbox now :P Wanna borrow it? I've just started Dead Space and... man, this is definitely worth the £15 I paid - I can tell that already. It totally feels like Metroid Prime in so many ways. It tells me I've put in 50 mins of gameplay and I've pretty much only just started chapter 2 about 10 mins ago. Very glad they have auto save points as well as the optional spots about the place (horrible, horrible Dead Rising flashbacks...). I can't remember if you have this (shorty, I'm still talking to you :P) but I'll lend it to you once I'm done with it as I think you'll like it. Alone In The Dark arrived today, too, but it's still all wrapped and snug. I figure Borderlands, Fallout GOTY and Episodes from Liberty City will arrive tomorrow. My aim is to complete Dead Space by the end of the week/end, then GTA, then Fallout 3 (playing through the DLC means I'm likely to want to finish my campaigns with my neutral/evil dudes)... then Borderlands, probably once everyone else is sick and tired of it. Wow. Longest post in this topic yet?

Yeah, well, like invite me up on a weekend to yours for a haircut celebration, or something... I seem to have mine cut roughly once every year, though this time I think my last cut was in 2009... but it's basically shoulder-length. Too long. Landlord came round. Wrote him a cheque for £300. Seriously no idea if i even have that in my account. He said to post-date it a few days, and that he'd not cash it 'til i gave the nod -- so I thought today was teh 2nd and put 5th down. Shit.

Stupid argos lingo. Stupid minimum wage. Stupid new manager. Stupid everything. I come home to have a housemate say "so you noticed teh house is all tidy now, eh?" -- yes, thanks very much for cleaning up after yourselves. But the bathroom is still a swamp. Obv. I'm living with a bunch of apes that don't actually respect me, so I said nothing of the sort. I just feel massively underappreciated, overlooked and unwanted everywhere I go. Combine that with rent, bills and now the £900 uni wants me to pay, I feel shit. But I have lots of cider, and two games arrived in the post, so I'm just going to drink into a hole and stay in my room until I crack. Good samaritans are only a few doors down so it won't be a long fit/crawl for help. And I need a haircut badly.

SOoo... I'm totally 20g away from completing Condemned. The gay thing is that the achievement I need is the one for 'finding' all fire-arms. Y'see, I already have the achievement for finding all fire-arms and melee weapons, so it just kinda bugs me that the game is stupid/they didn't describe their achievements properly. I think that I'm supposed to kill with each gun. As far as I'm aware I only need to do so with the sawn-off and the revolver. I know sometimes I'm fortunate enough to get a revolver at the end of one of the campaigns (if the hobo fighting the gun-hobo steals his gun before hopping the fence), and a sawn-off can be found in the library... but does anyone (skunky?) know of a single level to find both in, to save me time? And why the fuck are there only 970 points to be earned with this game?! What madness is that!
