  1. Ok so June 6th, it's bad "if" it's true and they aren't using the time to add any new content but "if" it's true, it's a date at least that we can get annoyed about, shout " **** you NOE!", realise how far away it is, begrudgingly accept it and start counting down the long, slow agonisingly painful days until it's release. Or we could all learn Japanese, import another Wii from said country and then discover that we can't get even an import copy of the game as it's selling out faster than a third party publisher with a new film to game license. Meh... *starts counting down the hypothetical number of days* >>'
  2. Either that or they will resurrect HD-DVD by adopting it exclusively as the format for their next console. Seriously it wouldn't surprise me.
  3. Agreed to all of the above also this game is so much fun, it's really refreshing to have a modern game that has as much replay value as an age old classic, I'm halfway through Son of Sparda mode now and I'm still enjoying it a hell of a lot.
  4. I've allready completed this on Devil Hunter (first file) and am now breezing through it on Human :P the extra modes are cool too and it's just so much fun to play. ^^
  5. It finished downloading today ^^ I played the first level, from the very moment you start controling Ryu you can tell that it's a game of true quality, quite challenging too, gonna enjoy it I reckon. Can't wait for Ninja Gaiden II now.
  6. Mine was on 49% last time I checked...
  7. Last time I checked mine was on 15% so yeah, should be done in about a week. >>' *update* 24% now... >>'
  8. lol same, I think mine was on 3% last time I checked, it might have downloaded in about a week with any luck.
  9. Set soundtrack, you could play music in the background but it won't affect the gameplay afaik, still the set soundtrack itself is awesome though, works really well with the game.
  10. I saw that too, damn false advertising >< I wanted to get Ninja Gaiden Black too. Oh well I'll get it later or tomorrow I guess, if it's available by then... sidenote: do all Xbox originals (downloadable ones) have full widescreen support?
  11. Got the 360 version (LE) in the post today, gonna play it now.
  12. *shrugs* each to their own, I can't say whether it's "better than any Zelda" having not played SOTC but I must admit that if I were to buy a PS3 (which I most likely will eventually) then Ico 3 would be the type of game that I may buy, along with Ico and Sotc, just to see of course...
  13. LOL just watched that clip and Imo with the exception of Geoff Keighly, they are all ill-informed idiots who are too obsessed with their own double standards that they will never be able to enjoy a single videogame, let alone *shock* actually find out that they can actually be FUN to play...
  14. yeah you will prolly need a HDD to store it as demo's are often in excess of 1 gig and a few / most are limited to gold accounts I believe.
  15. I'm happy with 1080i on my 23" Samsung and unless I'm missing something, isn't 1080p only supposed to have any real increase in quality over 1080i if you have a larger TV? i.e 32" and above, otherwise they both look practically the same afaik.
  16. Imo the key is to play it little and often for say 45 mins - 1 hour, also save often, you say you lost half an hour? that sucks but it's save anywhere so you could save every 10 - 15 mins or after every major / minor part that way you lose practically nothing. Anyways each to their own, it's just a game I'm enjoying playing every now and then inbetween everything else.
  17. Even if the somehow manage to interest any of the Big three into using this CPU, don't bank on Nintendo going for exactly the same CPU as Microsoft or Sony as it usually doesn't work like that.
  18. Looking and sounding awesome, I liked Legend and am currently playing through Anniversary (which is better imo) Legend was awesome too just the plot was... a bit... meh... Anyways as long as they conjure up a decent storyline for TRU then it has all the components to become a brilliant revitilisation for the franchise (much more so than even Legends) basically after seeing what Crystal Dynamics have done for the games there need never be another developer to even consider "having a go" at making a TR game as the Crystal Dynamics team have basically nailed it.
  19. As previously mentioned, I would go with NiGHTS if you liked / loved the original (got a review copy on the way so if it arrives today I'll try and post some insight on the game in here if I can) Other than that, I'm currently playing through Tomb Raider, the 360 version though but if your not bothered about achievements (I half like / half hate them) then yeah get the Wii version as it supposedly has slightly expanded gameplay too which is awesome.
  20. It'll happen, just don't expect it to be announced for a while yet and don't expect to be playing it for a while longer. :P Oh and it will probably be released for Wii.
  21. You may get a bit more for them at a local independant retailer, it's a shame that most of them get killed off too easilly by places like Game though, but yeah give them a try if you have one.
  22. I'm with BT but with a 40GB cap and I've never gone over, I just don't download most demo's because the majority of them tend to be either rubbish or not worth my time.
  23. 360 pad, wired or wireless with adapter ftw, there really isn't any need to get any other pad for PC other than that imo.
