  1. NEW TRAILER; http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?id=9091&pl=game&type=wmv Looking Great!! It's cool at the end of the trailer to see him taking on a Splinter Cell Agent just like his former self!
  2. Yeah I completely agree; I just didn't really enjoy Sunshine. I didn't like the tropical (away from the mushroom kingdom) theme; it just wasn't Mario! The levels were extremely similar! Yoshi didn't play an important part; and wasn't availiable in Green!! All the new bad-guys and the locals were pretty poor, FLUDD was alright, but I didn't really enjoy anything he added! Bowsers voice was TERRIBLE! I enjoyed the non-FLUDD levels (as everyone says!!) and I liked the first world and the theme park world alot!
  3. Games still to get; Twilight Princess, Baten Kaitos 2, Fire Emblem, Batallion Wars, Paper Mario, Ikaruga, Pikmin, Donkey Konga, ???; Resident Evil 0,1,2,3,C.V. (Own Resi 4 and owned C.V. on DC, but may complete the series on GC), Eternal Darkness, Starfox Assault, Billy Hatcher, Sonic Adventure DX (had the original on DC), Mario Golf,
  4. I think it will be fine as a spin-off and it's looking pretty good IMO, it could have been much worse! I'm sure Amusement Vision will carry on making the traditional Super Monkey Balls, especially for Nintendo because of it's popularity with Nintendo fans! There's still Super Monkey Ball DS for anyone who wants a new 'traditional' style game, and there's bound to be a Super Monkey Ball 3 on the Rev, where the controller can be used to tilt the floor!
  5. I really like how it looks like each island is designed to roll around and with many different puzzles etc... Maybe you fly between the islands, as it looks as though there are two more islands in the distance!
  6. Great graphics and different types of gameplay! Looks like it might be a pretty good game to me!
  7. Yeah, but that was said about a year or so ago;Since then, Nintendo have said they are pushing Shigsy to make sure Mario is a Revolution launch title!
  8. That was great!
  9. Remember though that Nintendo said about a year ago that they didn't want to show Mario 128, because it was very unique and they were worried the ideas it incorporated would be stolen; Well I think that could have been because it was being developed with the Rev in mind, and therefore they couldn't show the game without given away info about the revolution, or without showing the Revolution; and they didn't want to at such an early stage, because the console could have been copied. Like Nintendo have said for a long time (whether Mario was actually in development at that time or not), Mario 128 has been a gane they haven't been able to show, due to it's unique ideas!
  10. Looks as though there will be unlockable boards/vehicles;
  11. I owned Powerstone 1 on the Dreamcast and it was definately one of my favourite ever dreamcast games! The 3 crystal power-up transformations were AWESOME, the camera was perfect, the interactive and destructive levels were fantastic and the characters were great aswell. I used to fight with Falcon or WangTang. It doesn't get any cooler than;
  12. I think it's quite likely we'll see something like this;Those levels would really lend themselves to the Rev's controller to control Mario! I really want a VERY Traditional Mushroom Kingdom Super Mario World/Mario 64 style game. All the Classic Badguys, Goombas, Koopas etc... Blocks to Break, '?' Power Boxes, Stars, Mushrooms, Powerups; Fire Flower, Wing Cap etc...
  13. Sure it was opening the thread that spoilt it for me, but it was on the Revolution board and not the Gamecube board, so I presumed it was talking about Zelda Revolution not a GC game!! and how you'd like to battle Ganon on the Rev!! I'm not going to stay out of EVERY Zelda thread until Twilight Princess! For example, I wouldn't expect people to post Twilight Princess spoilers in the Majoras Mask thread on the Retro Board; at least without putting the news in a Spoiler box! That is what they're there for Jamba!! Anyway, I'll leave it at that!
  14. What did I think this thread would be about? Oh, I dunno, how about, hmmm.... how you'd fight Ganon on the Revolution, using the controller!! Like the title of the thread implied!!! You know, maybe swinging the controllers as a sword to offer a combo finishing move (like right at the end of OOT), or maybe using the controller to 'bat' back Ganondorfs energy that he throws at you!! How about you use abit of sense and write a title that actually refers to the meaning of your thread?!!!
  15. Can I just thank you for being an absolute idiot and posting an extremely significant Twilight Princess spoiler; for me and anyone else trying to avoid info about the next Zelda!! Revo-Europe managed to avoid the spoiler with the title of their post (which I was extremely grateful for!!), then I look in this thread, which makes no reference it's going to talk about Twilight Princess in it's title and because it's in the Revolution board! and you post this!! Thanks again!!
  16. A Spiderman game; 2 controllers acting as left and right web slinger pointers; web slinging your way around a fully interactive, full size New York!!
  17. No definate confirmation, but the interest/support is there for the Revolution!! Sonic Riders extremely fast paced gameplay could work well on the Rev; and maybe the controller could act as the board itself! The more games, the more developers, the more supports, the better!!
  18. If there ever was another spin-off featuring Joey, Chandler and Ross, then it could work. They could do it the opposite way round to how Cheers and Fraiser worked; So the 3 characters could meet up in a pub/bar/the coffee house and it could be set there!
  19. There was a flying/hover car on the last series of Top Gear and it was controlled with remote controls, it was really cool! It was 'flying' inside the studio a few meters off the ground! You can already buy a type of 'hoverboard' for a few thousand pounds! They work on the same principle as a hovercraft, but are the size of a surfboard; and you hover just off the ground, or water (I think)!
  20. I agree with Stocka!I thought the voice acting in Shenmue was really great! It took a while for me to get use to the japanese/english subtitles in Shenmue II, and although I did get used to it and was immersed in the game, I think I would have enjoyed Shenmue II even more and got even more immersed in the story, if it had been in English! I hope if Shenmue II ever appears on Shenmue III (for example) in the future, that it has an English language version; though it's very unlikely!
  21. Well done on completing it! And whilst you've finished one of the finest games ever, The good news is that with Shenmue II, it just keeps getting better and better!!
  22. Is that the time when; It's SO cool!!
  23. I don't think Darcy would do that to Karl either, because although they don't get on, Darcy wants Karl and Susan to be together! Also, did anyone notice the resemblance between Lyn's hair and Shadow the Hedgehog's today (even more than usual!)?
  24. So confirmed extra characters; Amy Eggman Shadow Rouge Cream Robo 1 (boring!) Robo 2 (boring!) Who's left for the other 4 characters; Chao Chaos Blaze Tikal Big the Cat Metal Sonic Team Chaotix
  25. I agree! With the end of the 'current' generation and especially moving into next generation, there are more and more examples of games where you feel like 'I've played this game before', or you know exactly how to go about beating a game because the style/gameplay is so familiar to another game/series. Therefore there is NO DOUBT that whilst it was probably a fantastic game, your enjoyment has been lessoned to some extent! You no longer find certain games/genres challenging. I'd love that extra difficulty, that something different, something that makes me think about how to approach a game/genre as though it's the first of its kind and it's totally new thinking! I really don't want the same old games with updated and updated and updated graphics!! Even if certain games don't make it on to the Rev; such as may be the case with Resi 5? I've played Resi 4 and how different is it REALLY going to be? Thinking about it; I'd much rather play something TOTALLY unique from Nintendo, which will take me some time and skill to learn, or a brand new style of Resi from Capcom. I think Nintendo are totally right in offering something NEW and refreshing, and I thank them for it!! Because without the Revolution, next-gen would be looking decidedly boring!!
