Here's a trailer for anyone wanting to know what the new Harvest Moon is like. http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?id=9929&pl=game&type=wmv I found with Harvest Moon on the Gameboy that as you got further into the game there was always SO much to do before 5pm (when the buyer arrives), that you had next to no time for just wandering around, you just didn't get any free days! All this to save the farmland from a theme park development, which quite frankly I'd have liked to seen built and visited!
-
Nah they're pretty easy!Remember to slow down time with the Ocarina when they land and you'll have much more time to shoot them. Stand just away from the front of the barn to get a good viewpoint and keep checking your on-screen map as you'll occasionally need to run behind the barn to get a few aliens there.

Yeah the Dreamcast really is a fantastic console!! Radiligy, another arcade style shooter, only a cel-shaded one, was the second to last game I think and is also being brought to the Gamecube later in the year. Check out my Radiligy thread for some videos of the game; http://www.revo-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4497 The Dreamcast had so many different styles of games, it really was a complete console, it had everything!

I'm kinda hoping they stay with Revolution as the final name, everyones got used to it and it's a good name as consoles go (better than PS3, Xbox 360)! It's seems strange that after all this time of calling it Revolution/Rev, that it may not be! and I just hope if there is a new name that it's just as good (creates a good image)!

Who's also watching the Miyamato webchat now?
Retro_Link replied to Stocka's topic in Nintendo Gaming
He did say Nintendo are very supportive of small development studios and the Rev was designed with them in mind because he feels you shouldn't have to have a vast team of developers to be able to create games;but I doubt he's even heard of those two developers at this stage! Nothing much of interest in that web chat and I think they wasted alot of question time!! I could have done without knowing he was rubbish at Mario Kart Online and all about Nintendogs (which has been out for ages) and that he couldn't answer the animal crossing question etc... etc... It was a wasted opportunity IMO! This is where I watched it, it does say you can watch it again; http://www.webchats.tv/webchat.php?ID=260 -
I'm sure I heard pretty early on in Twilight Princesses development that there would be 3 versions of the game made, but that the news also said (at the time), that all 3 versions may not make it onto the market. I really can't remember who said this (though I have a feeling it was from Nintendo), and I'm not sure where I read it, but; Versions 1 & 2 would likely be a Collectors Edition and a Standard Edition (like they did with Wind Waker, and other games such as Halo etc..), Version 3 could well be a Rev version of the game!
-
I agree! They should have either created Twilight Princess for GC and launched it for Christmas 2005 (with it's pedicted Nov '05 date). OR Create the game specifically for the Rev (which I would MUCH rather them do at this stage in development); with a VAST overworld, better graphics, incorporate the controller properly (and not just as an extra for those with the Rev!), and have it as a TRUE Rev launch title that people will take notice of on the shelves at launch, and not just see it as a 'last generation' GC game (to those new to Nintendo/Rev)! Here's the news from another site;

Pinata 64? Was there previously a Japan exclusive N64 game based on this, because I've never heard of it on the N64?? So it's not as if Rare are being original with this game either! Anyways, here the trailer for the 360's Viva Pinata; http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?id=9710&pl=game&type=wmv (when the window opens, click on the Viva Pinata picture/trailer) I was impressed by the graphics (when I first saw the pictures), looks like they've used the Kameo graphics/effects to me; Seems they're trying to create an animal crossing/doshin the giant/black and white type game, but i'm not convinced as yet!

I think the TV series should of followed the adventures of a young Han Solo; meeting Chewbacca, Jaba, Lando, how he won the Millenium Falcon, going on smuggling rades etc... I'd rather they leave the main characters out of the TV series; and also there's going to have to be a different actor for Obi-Wan (doubt Ewan would ever do it!) etc... which I don't like the idea of! The TV series should IMO, either be; 1) Adventures of young Han Solo 2) Episode 0 featuring Yoda (only if they decide not to make an Episode 0 movie, because it would be great to see Yoda's story one way or another!) 3) Removed from the films and feature other Jedi, Bounty Hunters etc... 4) Be set after Return of the Jedi

This is the only picture that looks good IMO, looks quite 'Shrek-like', Quite nice leaves/grass textures on the ground, good draw distance, very nice lighting and shadows etc... It doesn't looks any better than Kameo on the 360 though! and some of the pictures look no better than GC or Xbox games!

Call of Duty Revolution? Would be a great addition if true!!
-
Spiderman and Exclusive Sonic on Revolution?! This is further confirmation of the exclusive Rev Sonic game!Great to hear Spiderman might be on the Rev and it would be even better if the Rev got a Spiderman game (whether it's based on Spiderman 3 or not) that uses the controllers for web-slinging around the city!

New pictures and info; I don't really understand what this game's going to be! I guess you go around an adventure world, but then enter levels that play out like those in Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2; so the game is going to more like the original games than first thought, except you enter them via the adventure? Anyways; Monkey Race, Fight and Targets are back, along with the new Monkey Tag, Bounce and Cannon (there's a cannon in the first picture, which I guess you fire yourself out of to reach other areas of the level)!

I'm getting this again all the time when I try to post/edit etc... Causing duplicate threads/posts!!
