Those are some strong words! Although it does make me question why they are pursuing this QoL platform of theirs? If they can leave expanding casual gaming up to the 'smart devices' now, why can't they just leave QoL to the fitness experts. Ok I guess we need to learn more about what QoL is truly going to be, but could that not just be how they're going after that same audience now? Just release a Wii Fit app Nintendo.

I don't think we'd have the problem if Nintendo hadn't gotten themselves into this stupid situation of releasing Zelda's so late in a consoles life (it also doesn't help that their console lifecycles have been getting shorter and shorter lately). It means that each Zelda requires a new engine. Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask got it right. A beautiful Zelda to showcase the console and then a sequel a couple of years later. Same with Mario Galaxy.

Yeah come on @Wii! Holding stuff back... maybe, but they already gave us a full Mario Kart game! They gave us the same number of cups, of tracks, ok arguably the chosen Mario characters were a little lacking (but this DLC doesn't really address that either). You got your Mario Kart! This is a full half another Mario Kart game! So why not charge for it? and at less than half the price of a full game. Plus it's experimenting with other Nintendo themed tracks! Battle mode aside, it's more than we ever wanted from Mario Kart DLC!

Dry Bowser really bugs me, like Metal Mario. Bit of a sucky DLC character IMO. But everything else, WA-HOO! So do we think the cups will be the same as those rumoured ones?

How awesome would Kirby and a Star kart, Samus and a Gunship kart, Pikachu and a Pokeball kart, and Fox and an Arwing kart be in this too! And a Lon Lon Milk cart for Link

It does make me a bit sad that this is basically all the F-Zero and Excitebike/Truck we're likely to see on Wii U... because you know, they can't think of a gimmick... Also I do hope Nintendo go all out and create Smash Kart on their next console... even if separate to Mario Kart, and crazier! But... Yeah I need this!!!!

I can't believe that's what Nico meant... are we sure he didn't say it sarcastically? There's no way Nico could know he would give Lewis a puncture, and that he wouldn't loose more than just his front endplate. It just doesn't make sense to do it. Anyways, that race was amazing! Ok so Bottas came along with his stupid Mercedes engine and spoilt Kimi's podium :p but I like Bottas too. Amazing from Ricciardo, happy for Nico to be on the podium, and Kimi got a decent result

I thought it started off like a pretty bad Doctor Who episode, turned into a pretty good Doctor Who episode from the restaurant scene to the Doctor coming back for her scene, and then it all just seemed to drag on a bit too long and got a bit meh, come the end. It felt a little bit like they did the Matt Smith cameo/'please stick with him'/'give him a chance Clara' scene, was to asking the young audience to continue watching.

And all I'm saying, and that you're just glossing over, is that they aren't getting a pass in their respective threads. Members on this forum had been actively recommending people wait to buy the console unless a bargain comes along. I'd quote you saying: 'twisting words to suit your argument', but I can't be bothered to look for an example.

Has anyone said their first year first party line-up hasn't been lacking?As far as I'm aware it's come up several times in the PlayStation 4 thread, with people actually telling other members it's worth waiting to buy the console over the first 9 months. Now however, things are about to really kick off!

I don't think we're missing out by not getting that alarm clock :p BUT... The best thing to come out of that for me was that female Link concept art! Made me think that a choose your gender/customise your character in the next main Zelda game could really work!

My view on this is that I constantly see the other consoles doing things, where as I don't see Nintendo doing anything. And this is the importance of attending events like Gamescom. So what if LBP feels similar, when you see so many new things coming out of the Gamescom press conferences. You have things to talk about and get you excited, new games, new trailers, new news. This isn't the case with Nintendo, where we've just been left with, well... this. And when you have nothing coming out and third party support continually falling away it's just, urgh.

No one can honestly say they're looking forward to Starfox at this stage... we know next to nothing about it and what we think we might know is a bit concerning. But yeah Zelda for sure atm! Splatoon could be good. Xenoblade really, really impressed me during the Treehouse showing! and that's from someone who wasn't really interested in the first game, and wasn't sure the sequel would be for me either. But I loved what I saw.
