Yeah who has asked for that? No one's who wants Nintendo to release a powerful console ever put tablet controller into the conversation. -

Sorry, but ridiculous that this got thanks from you @Serebii and @Ronnie... seems like a nonsensical 'choose a side' Thanks. Why wouldn't you want todays standard multiplayer/social features in Nintendo's own multiplayer games? -

Unravel is currently wowing me. The game looks gorgeous. It's like the Pikmin visuals you dream of... If you're gonna make a 2D Pikmin make it for the Switch instead, and have it look like that! -

5 mins of Switch, 55 mins of wool. -
Right now you could put the next COD game exclusively on VR and it would have little impact because of the cost of entry. VR needs to focus on finding ways to get more people hands on with it. More partnerships, more bundles. That, and a couple more years to get costs down.

I don't agree that it's fallen off a cliff. VR's still climbing. None of the VR consoles had huge hype around them at their launches and I think purposefully so and for good reason. The excitement is still there for VR because every week there's a new type of gameplay experience coming to them, unlike in the mainstream console market which is far more oversaturated. Heck, I was just watching Easy Allies VR stream from the other day and got excited for the first game they streamed - Vanishing Realms - 3mins in. I got massive Nightmare vibes - that old 90's TV show. Finally we're getting chances to go on a quest and explore living worlds. Where a game like this could be in two years time has me hyped! I'd much prefer smaller inventive titles than big budget AAA titles that for the next few years at least would be far better suited to a home console anyway. Of course more killer aps would help. But people bought a Wii and played nothing but Wii Sports for the rest of the consoles life. If I had VR I'd be loving trying out new experiences every week. I think affordability is the problem for VR, not killer aps.

Yes. Was just thinking about this today.

I bet there's a day 1 patch for Breath of the Wild. *Lock it in* -

Oooh that Day 1 patch! -
Starts dreaming of Yooka-Laylee Racing.

It's had a definite visual downgrade. Having had games like The Witness and with Breath of the Wild on the near horizon it feels a bit like it's missed its window... but still interested.

Games I'm interested in from that trailer: Hellblade, Nier, Uncharted, Gravity Rush, WipeOut, Nioh, PaRappa, Starblood, Horizon. As much as I love the idea of Dreams, I can't help feel it's too much hard work... What's the deal with Matterfall?... Isn't that the same team making Nex Machina? Also... gimme Spider-Man.

Wonder if Retro would combine their knowledge of Metroid and 2D platforming into a 2D Metroid? @Ronnie tbh I think it probably would be DKCR 3. It plays off the nostalgia of the first trilogy, especially with Dixie being introduced in both sequels. And it's far easier for them to do a sequel than start something brand new - especially if they're working on multiple projects. What would you personally prefer? Are you hoping for a 3D platformer, or something very different like Jungle Beat/Bongos/Barrel Racing. Ooooh Diddy Kong Racing 2 please :p -

If that's the case I'd imagine the New IP will be the first thing we see, whilst Metroid and Donkey Kong are probably both in concept stages, with Metroid two years out. -
To be fair I'd say the same about Daisy Ridley. Billie Lourd doesn't look particularly like young Leia anyway.

Whaaaat!?... Mario is a launch/showcase game, and Zelda the magic of Christmas. -
This happened to me recently - just before Christmas so I missed all the great sales :/ Some bastard hacked into my account and used my PayPal to buy £120 worth of FIFA points... I was locked out of my account, and it took a few weeks for Sony to reactivate it after countless emails and phone calls which cost me. PayPal refunded me - but Sony didn't reimburse me for anything... such as the month I paid for PS+ but couldn't use it... let alone other subscriptions like Netflix that I was locked out of. Considering it's their security that allows this to happen, I was pretty damn annoyed. Oh and I also have to look at over a page of FIFA crap in my downloads list. Really should set up the two step security.

Have to say I'm gonna miss the 3D option of the 3DS. I'm pretty positive there will be some pretty special things shown in January. Nintendo have to have heard and felt the disappointment towards a lot of the game choices they've been making. The Nintendo we've had over the lifespan of the Wii U has drastically altered my attitude towards them. I still crave those Nintendo gaming experiences - but next to none of their choices have appealed to me. I'm optimistic Switch will usher in a change - it's certainly sounding like it from the rumours. Whether aesthetically/stylistically there'll still be a disconnect between me and their latest games remains to be seen. -
I wouldn't be surprised if the CGI got an update in a future anniversary/whatever follows Blu-Ray, edition of the film. I was a little surprised they needed to CGI Leia. I would have thought for essentially a head turn and one word they could have used some footage they already had and perhaps just CGI'd/dubbed over it.

Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World (3DS) - Feb 2017

Well that was more uncomfortable than I was expecting... -
Thanks Hero! I have a crazy PS4 backlog, but I almost paid full price for the Shopto exclusive launch edition of The Last Guardian. Snapped it up at £25. Love that artwork.
-
Yeah I'm the same Nando. As great as the prices on Ratchet & Clank, Gravity Rush and The Order 1886 are, I'd ideally like them physically. Firewatch, Virginia, The Banner Saga and Symphony of the Night have my interest. Was Firewatch a good game in the end? or just a very hyped up indie game at the time? I've been a bit underwhelmed by a couple of indie downloads lately.

No need, there wasn't any indication. But there's no way to play those on PS4 either, so that's my assumption.
