Given this some MAJOR time today... although seeing as there's SO much to do in this game I haven't actually progressed a great deal, lol!

The Wii has a chance at getting a larger hardcore audience back because chances are it's lifespan will be alot shorter than that of the PS3/360. So if Nintendo release Wii 2 (HD), in say 2 years, people will rush out and buy it because it's Nintendo's next console (despite perhaps being what the Wii should have been in the first place), and then it will back on a more level playing field. But maybe the Wii 2 will need to push itself further than the capabilities of the current HD consoles, in order to attract people back to it, because otherwise what will the draw be?... I guess perhaps Nintendo will need another innovation. Nintendo's choice to choose innovation over graphics may have hurt it in the long run, because whilst innovation has won it the casual audience and it's sales success, it's lack of graphical power seems to have lost it a good percentage of harcore audience (judging by sales of 3rd party titles)... and without them, 3rd party support is just going to get fewer and far between.

It would have helped the Wii if it had had HD from the start because then people wouldn't have abandoned it for the other consoles, but now that those Wii owners have their 360's/PS3, I can't see how implementing it now would help much, other than giving the hardcore Wii owners that are left a chance to play games developed for the other consoles.

I don't see how they can realistically enter into a season with zero data!... on reliability, tyre wear, long runs etc... If they do enter this year I reckon they'd be seconds off the pace. Plus I dunno, looking at Villeneuve now I question if he could handle a full race distance in Bahrain/Malaysia etc...

It doesn't alter what you're saying, but the Skull kid was also from Hyrule. He fell into Termina just like you. I always assumed he was the one you 'befriended' in The Lost Woods (I think somethings said in the game to back this up), it's just the Mask fucked him up! Also, we don't know the moon destroys the entire world (I mean you assume it would, because it's a falling moon) but in the game you're really just concerned with saving the town.

I'm not sure if that's wishful thinking or not. I know it looks like it from that angle, but having just watched some videos of the mounatin on youtube you certainly never see it in any others... though I can't seem to find the exact video it comes from... turns out it's not the part of the game where you learn a song as wolf link on death mountain.

I'm torn with USF1 because I think it's so important that America gets itself back into the sport, and with no US GP seemingly happening any time soon, I'd have really liked to have seen this team give it a real go. But I don't agree with them buying themselves a years break, no way! I'd much rather see Prodrive/Aston Martin being given a chance now, as I'd love to see them in the sport! Stefan GP seem like another waste of time to me.

Seriously!!!!!!!! I'm not quite sure which I prefer out of Mario 64 and Galaxy, because 64 was all so new and exciting, Galaxy was just so refined, fun and epic! I really would have liked them to have made the game more worthwhile for a second play through... make it Super Luigi Galaxy and swap mario and peach with Luigi and Daisy in the cutscenes and change Bowsers speach respectively. That would have made a HUGE difference IMO. Also, Mario games seriously lack any replayability I think. After completeing the game and trying a bit with Luigi I never played the game. In this age of downloadable content, I hope SMG2 has a few downloadable challenges/levels/world etc...

^^ Yeah I posted a thread for it in the Other Consoles Board a few months ago (because there was only info for the HD version at that point), and a load of people just immediately dismissed it as a movie tie in. Though the Wii version is a completely independant game of that one, so whilst we've yet to see any screens of the HD version and what that will turn out to be like, we can rest assured that at least the Wii version is looking and sounding great!

I think McLaren may turn up with the best car in Bahrain, but I expect it to be extremely close between McLaren/Ferrari/Red Bull/Mercedes. I honestly find it difficult to make any predictions without near enough naming all the teams! Because Williams, Force India and Renault could spring surprises (and I really hope they do, well not so much Renault, I'm not that bothered about them), but really I expect them to be fighting it out in a strong midfield, though hopefully a few podiums here and there. Personally I'd like to see Red Bull and Vettel get the championships this year, but lets see what happens! It's gonna be hot and dry out in Bahrain... It'll probably just come down to managing tyres with heavy fuel, on a hot track!... whoevers car manages that the best will win in Bahrain, yet may not specifically have the best car for the season!

I can't see this starting less than £19.99, or maybe £29.99 (Sega would probably think £10 a game was fair), depite the games being available for much cheaper! This must be a new trend, because I noticed this on Amazon the other day...
