  1. The original Modern Warfare is from what I've heard an absolutely brilliant game. It's not that games fault. He didn't know what he would spawn... If only he had :p I've always been quite tempted to pick up the original over the years, never having played a COD. It would tempt me to pick up this new one.
  2. It's an ok article. I kinda like where it's coming from and intensions lie. I think it underplays the fact that fans have somewhat lost faith in Nintendo. Sony fumbled with the PS3, Microsoft fumbled the XB1's launch year... Nintendo screwed up with the Gamecube, ditched the Wii after a couple of years, badly marketed the 3DS and then there's the Wii U... all the while ignoring online gaming, putting out the same slim line up of games over and over again on their virtual consoles etc... etc... there's a difference. However. I agree. Nintendo take your time. I'd much rather that. We got reports of dev kits in the hands of developers only a few months ago, and some saying they hadn't received them. Quality third party launch line-up/support seemed unlikely if that were the case; the usual rushed games, experiments, mini-game compilations, ports could surely only result. I'm happy to wait for Zelda, I'm happy to wait for NX. Fingers crossed.
  3. By launching their next console with a strong line-up.
  4. Are Nintendo going to have 3DS games playable? did they just mean only Wii U game? Because surely Federation Force needs some positive hands on impressions of the final build, plus they announced a strong 3DS line-up in their last event. It's very strange they won't have Paper Mario there. Expecting a bad press reaction from it?
  5. @Dcubed, the Wii U is not in the same position as the N64.
  6. I can't fathom how Nintendo are going to fill this E3... Are they just going to replay that direct we had last month? I don't want to sit down and watch loads of stuff about the new Zelda, nor do I want to watch Treehouse playing it. What is there to watch? new trailers for games we already know about, and I guess a Pokémon trailer maybe? It's baffling.
  7. NO. WAY. is Retro's next game coming to Wii U, unless it's DK3. NO. WAY.
  8. I never really got into Re-Volt. I think I played that street level on one of the Dreamcast demo discs, over and over... but the same didn't happen with the full game.
  9. I see no problem with it, other than the fact March is normally incredible for game releases. Which if you've already got a PS4/XB1, you might be more likely to spend your money on, and further strengthen the back-catalogue of these machines for those looking to buy a new console. Of course if they're going to come to NX, then fine.
  10. The wool shop would have gone up in flames! "We have ONE MORE THING for you..." OMG "... Mercedes Benz is coming to Splatoon! :santa:" ... Get Out
  11. Luckily Zelda wasn't announced as releasing next week.
  12. That.. does not sound like fun.
  13. Zelda being delayed for a freakin' handheld version would be somewhat annoying. The 3DS has a great line-up this year, whilst the Wii U is dead. I don't see the problem with releasing a home console in March. It hit's the financial year, and has a year to build. Then bring out one insane Christmas line-up... it's 9 months later when the real games often start coming anyway. Talk of GTA5 is pointless, when Rockstar will hopefully be releasing Red Dead 3 this year. That's the game Nintendo need to go after from them.
  14. I look back on Skyward Sword very fondly. I love that it did something very different and shook up the Zelda experience. For that reason I adored the game. I think if it had been another Twilight Princess I'd have been pretty gutted. Likewise, it's a huge relief that the next Zelda looks to be a different experience too. Delay the game as long as you want to make the game as good as it can be. However, this latest delay is blatantly to tie it in with NX/up-res it for NX/add NX features. Which is fine. It would be better if it had been built from the ground up as an NX launch title, but maybe you won't be able to tell it hasn't. Nail Zelda, and you've got an NX purchase Nintendo. The line about Zelda being the only game playable at E3 to fully immerse people on the world... no Nintendo, it's because that's the only game outside of Mario and Sonic get Down at Dirty at the Rio Carnival that you have.
  15. I was very excited for Animal Crossing, but less so upon reading it working alongside a console/handheld version. I don't really want to buy and commit to playing an Animal Crossing game. A mobile version could have been fun.
  16. Just kinda cool...
  17. I do agree, the 'Battle...' are boring, generic titles.
  18. Oh absolutely. I wonder if Nintendo approached Amusement Vision over F-Zero X, or the other way round. I wonder an F-Zero X sequel would have turned out if it wasn't for that team... or even if it would have happened? I don't get why such partnerships have happened in the past but not since. Give it to someone else!
  19. I'd be ok with it if they've teamed up with Marvel to create an Infinity War game, where you play as Iron Man in FP.
  20. I'm so desperate for a new F-Zero. They could add water sections to some tracks for you to hover over, if they have to add something... that'd be pretty cool. Your ship could handle a little differently whilst on it.
  21. The rumoured name for the new COD is so bad... Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare... which just immediately feels like it's been the title of every COD game before it somehow :p Maybe it's the uncanny similarity to Infinity Ward... so hopefully it's a placeholder.
  22. Red Dead 2 would be a win.
  23. Anyone else notice Reggie has been extremely quiet lately? Maybe it's just situational, but he used to do quite a lot of interviews, and things with Keighley etc...
