For the neutral, you had a treat right there. For me, I can't believe how carp the whole back four were. I'm a big fan of Jonny Evans, but that was one of his worst games in a United shirt today. Vidic wasn't at the races, either. Can't believe we didn't win that, after having so many chances, so much of the ball...Berbatov should have scored at least two today. Credit to Fulham. At least they didn't roll over after conceding the first goal. So, I respect them and the way that they played.

Whaaaat? There is no shame in Internet dating, mon frere. In fact, I would recommend it. At its core, a relationship is the best kind of friendship plus the intimacy. Looking back at things, I'm one of these types that likes to have friendship first before taking things further. With internet dating, you could also achieve that friendship stage. Plus, you can find out pretty easily if you have similar interests to this person. The disadvantages would be things like distance, but then you could join a specific site that only deals in UK dating or something, search for people close-by, etc. The other disadvantage is that when you meet the person after speaking to them, they may not live up to your expectations. Thats a risk. But, if you're having trouble meeting girls when you're with friends or just don't get opportunities, then I think maybe its worth taking a gamble and giving this a go.

Scrambled eggs on toast or 3 boiled eggs and toast. They are my favourites. Usually some pineapple, an apple or a banana. Mmmm.

Hmm, Lennon is another one who goes in and out of form. I remember the Carling Cup Final a few years back where he gave Evra a rough time. Then, the 9-1 against Wigan, he supplied cross after cross. I still think he has a lot of work to do. Like Ekotto, I think he can be a bit off the boil at times. Rooney isn't playing today, because he has a stomach bug/virus. Which probably means that Sir Alex has rested him. (as in, I don't believe he has a bug) Nani is on the bench as Park is playing on the left.

UPular is excellent. Although, Ine uses it as her phone alarm. So, I'm starting to get negative feelings towards eet, slightly. :p
-
I like Assou-Ekotto at left back, but he can be a bit suspect at times. The other teams have seen what Bale can do now, so they'll be trying to get him out of the game, to frustrate him and make him less effective. He's no longer a surprise package.
-
Bale is great. He's pretty much to Spurs what Evra is to us. Ell's just a bit miffed that he did Chelsea over when the teams met last season. I think his days of playing left-back are pretty much over now.
-
Haha, I don't think that'll happen. Fulham are more than solid at home. Then again, you'd never imagine someone turning Villa over by this much.

How much did Stewart Downing cost again? Can't believe the guy is playing for a team hoping to break into the top four.

The biggest coincidence I can think of right now is when me and ViPeR/Joe met in Brighton. We decided that we fancied going to a rock club, so I recommended a place called The Engine Rooms. We got there, and for some reason they were playing an oldies night, with music from the 60s and 70s, or something to that effect. We're walking into the place, and in the 30 seconds that it took to walk in and walk to the bar, the music had changed from whatever they were playing, to this: We looked at each other and said wtf! Too weird. The fact that the music stopped and that song came on, just as we walked in, it was both amazing and scary at the same time, considering we're both stupidly huge fans of that film.

What Do You Do When You Go For A Poo?

Are you shitting me? -
Lush is one of my favourite places in the world. I'll use any excuse to go there. As for clubs: Naturally, the shitter the club, the crapper the experience. I find it funny how people moan about not being able to chat when they go to a club. It's like complaining that they can't dance in a pub, or how their DVD player doesn't play cassette tapes. Totally different things for different purposes. My ideal night out would be going to a pub first, meet up with some friends, have some nice drinks. Then, probably head off to a place that plays good music. Whoever mentioned Oceana earlier in this thread needs to be shot for bringing it up. That place is the opposite of what you should look for in clubs. When I go to a club, I like to dance (mostly badly) and just get into the music. I've got a good few Brighton friends who are into the same sorts of music as I am, so luckily we don't go to any R'N'B places. It's nice, because you can just let yourself go a bit. If you're finding that you want to have a deeply meaning conversation about Marxism or you want to talk about the greatest hits of the Smiths, then a club shouldn't be on your list of priorities or the night. Get to a pub instead. However, if you've worked lots throughout the week, you feel a bit mentally tired and you just want to let go and bathe yourself in music, then those are the nights you want to go clubbing. If there's a live band playing, then that's an even bigger hurrah. There's also a happy medium, where you can maybe find a Rock Bar, where you can sit and chat with your friends whilst some awesome music plays overhead. That tends to lean towards the pub side than the club side though, unless you are having a particularly great night and there's a dancefloor.

Hmm, I'm going to have to disagree with some of you guys. I really enjoyed the controls and the gameplay aspect involved. It's different to how it works in Zelda, where you can just sit down and flick your wrist when you want to slash something. Its effortless, but its also effortless in terms of thought. You don't have to think about what you're doing, because the slashing system is really not that intelligent in Twilight Princess. In Red Steel 2, I liked the way that the special moves were incorporated, as well as the different angles you could slash at. It was more thoughtful. There's more thinking that has to be done by the gamer, but I found that to be more engaging than anything. As time with the game went on, I found that I could just roll off the special moves with ease. I can see how some would find it off-putting, but at the same time, you know what you're buying before you purchase the game, so I don't have any sympathy for you, I'm afraid. I don't see the fun in just sitting down and flicking your wrist like how it might work in other games.

What Do You Do When You Go For A Poo?

It's peaceful because it's probably one of the only moments of the day where you're not interrupted or where you have to make conversation with someone, or something along those lines. For the same reasons, I love showers, you get time with yourself. It's a time when you can just switch-off, I guess. -
N-Europe London Meet Sat July 24th 2010
Fierce_LiNk replied to ReZourceman's topic in General Chit Chat
I was actually thinking about a Winter meet the other day. Would be sweet to go to one. There's quite a few Sheffield folk and people from the Northern neck of the woods, so I'd imagine something could be done. -

It can be good thinking time, and it's peaceful. Although, that only applies to home toilets. When its public or work toilets, I get in and get out. -
Cricket is fun as hell to play. I enjoy watching it, and I enjoy the tactical nature of Test Cricket. Twenty20 is probably more fun to watch casually, but there's something a bit schoolboy-ish about it...hit the ball and fucking run before the time/overs run out! Used to play this a lot with my friends in the streets where I lived. If the ball hit the windows of the houses on the other side of the road, we were out. If the ball hit a wall, you could only be out if it was caught one-handed. The boundaries were the same blue car that was parked in the same spot every day on the one side of the street, and the lampost on the other side. I fucking love street cricket. And playing football on the streets, too. Jumpers and traffic cones for posts.

I'm out of the UK at the moment, but I'm just curious to know if this is still being discussed back home. So, it's not actually a mosque? And, it's not actually at Ground Zero?

your top disappointing games
Fierce_LiNk replied to mcj metroid's topic in General Gaming Discussion
I've got Brawl, but I didn't find it as easy to get into as I did Melee. I remember feeling overwhelmed by the amount of content, so I didn't know where to start. I want to play more of it though, but the main issue for me is that I just can't get into it with the Wii's controller layout. It's not natural for me, after years of playing with the Cube Controller. I've got my Wavebird out and I'm going to give it a more thorough playthrough with that. It's not like it has Wiimote only functions, so I don't think I'll be missing out on anything? -
Ahh, so the American version came first? (AGT before BGT I mean) Anyway, the initials BGT make me think of Chairdriver and that sexuality/LGBT thread from before.

It seems pointless having two shows. I can't actually believe that people like Piers Morgan and Cheryl Cole are getting a hefty salary for the work that they do. Still, people watch it, so I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a third show that was purely non-singers.

What Do You Do When You Go For A Poo?

Random Fact: The album booklet that came with the first Manic Street Preachers album "Generation Terrorists" was originally going to be printed on toilet paper. The record company decided against it in the end. -
I know they have different staffings. But, the layout of the show seems identical. Except Britain has got verrry much talent has those annoying and patronising buzzers.

I sit and think about stuff. Usually about what I'm going to be doing for the rest of the day. I plan! Toilet time is thinking time for me. -
Dog, I love The Holy Grail. I find it a lot more funny than the Life of Brian. Both are great, but Holy Grail is just in a different league, in my opinion. Flying Circus was great, but I must admit that I do find it a little bit dated now, as you say. However, Holy Grail is still something I can watch over and over without getting tired of. "He's already got one...it's verrrry niiiice!" *turns to other soldiers* "I've told them we've already gooot one *sniggers*" Gets me every time.
