After a long absence, I'm back into this. I've found possibly 2 issues with the game that I can think of. Well, they're somewhere between non-issues and minor problems. Wall Jumping. On the few occasions where you use it/or seemingly need to, maybe I arrived at one part earlier than I should have: I hate it. Hate the wall jumping to hell. The other is that it's not always obvious where you need to go. Well, maybe obvious is the wrong word, but as far as I can tell, there's no sign-posting at all in this game. It's both a good and a bad thing. It's great because you have to use your head (and the map) to figure out where you might need to go next. It's bad because you might spend a considerable amount of time using your head (and the map). It's fucking awesome, though. Literally the only two "issues" I have with the game. Why Nintendo never released an N64 and DS Metroid (not Hunters) is baffling...

It is insane considering it's their highest score-line of all time, by about 3 goals. It's not like we see an 11-0 every week. Most teams stop after 3-5 goals. The half-time score was only something like 3-0. So, to come out in the second half and score 8 is crazy.

...Why would Nintendo stop using 3D? It's their key and unique feature that separates their system from their rivals. The DS was different because of the dual screens and touch-screen. They didn't suddenly stop using the second screen after a certain amount of time, they persevered with it, even if it was predominantly used as a map screen. Same with motion controls, the fact that they're still using them for Skyward Sword shows something. They won't suddenly stop using the 3D. So far, I think the 3D is of good quality and has the potential to be used in awesome ways.

Haha, that Netherlands scoreline is insane. Anyone would think San Marino were Arsenal, last weekend. *runs* It's good that both England and Wales won. Belgium had to let the "new" Holy Trinity down and draw their game. Pffft.

I cried at this.

Sorry to hear about your loss, Gane.

Wenger is so cheeky! He basically bought Arteta whilst showing his troll-face. Never knew he had it in him. Must've got himself wasted beforehand before he made that offer. Also, that Meireles deal is just...so dodgy. Chelsea with their underhand tactics again.
-
Uhh, that's a pretty stupid move by Meireles. Also, I had a major laugh today when I read something about Tevez: Had to laugh. So...no longer Captain of your club, no longer first choice, no longer first choice for your country, and nobody wants to buy you.

40 million for Modric is insane... Spurs could've used that to finance another midfielder and a quality striker. Saying that, they need to keep their best players if they want Europe, again. Also, Ellmeister is awesome!

I wish I had SkySportsNews right about now. This is exciting.

I would love it right now if Fergie came in with a bid for him. He won't. Maybe Neil Warnock will, ahahaaha.
-
Hahahah, Spurs are apparently making a move to get Kaka. Can't be true...right? Doesn't Harry know that they need striiikers?

Cmaaan. That's very unlikely to happen. As long as you look first and make certain that she isn't hanging around the same bloke (who probably is her boyfriend) the whole time she's there, then it's just an honest mistake. How can you know if somebody is single or not from halfway across the club, unless they have their boyfriend right there with them. Or, unless they politely tell you when they decline. In which case, that's fair. So, you just assume they're single until either: a. You see an obvious sign, like a boyfriend there, or a wedding ring. b. They tell you. There's not really an issue there. I was never worried about being stabbed in the eye during my single daysss.

Yeah, 13 or something would've been a fair deal. You can say about Liverpool overspending on players, but realistically, if those players turn out to be successes for the club, then it'll be worth it. Look at the fee we paid for Rooney all those years back, or on Ferdinand. Over the odds, but they've contributed a lot. If Carrol stays in that Liverpool squad for the next decade and helps them to lift trophies, then it'll be said that he's a success. Wenger is a great guy, but he's gotta stop all this accountant bullshit. He's a football manager. Let the chairman and the staff worry about the money, and you just concentrate on building a good squad.
-
Well, Everton have every right to squeeze more out of the deal. 10 million quid for Arteta is a bit cheeky, plus Everton have a paper thin squad and are under no obligation to sell to Arsenal right there and then. I know they've got debts but still, they need to keep some of their players. I feel bad for Everton, again. Have they signed anyone this summer? There's talk of them signing players, but has anyone actually come?
-
So, let me get this right...Arsenal were in a good position to sign Arteta from Everton, a club who could really use the money at the moment. And, they couldn't get him because they didn't offer enough. 10 million? Oh, Arsene. Considering Everton bought him for 5, he's worth much more now. Just a few million extra would have done it. I'm glad, I'd rather he stayed at Everton. I want them to do well this season.

Serebii - You are single. Therefore, you have nothing to lose. If you go up to a girl and ask her if she'd like a drink, she'll probably do one of the following: 1. Take you up on that offer. 2. Decline politely. 3. Decline rudely. Option one means you win. Option two means that you didn't win that time, but may do another time. Option three means she was plain rude anyway and a waste of time, so it's good that she declined! Just be friendly. Confidence is a big thing, so why not just use this time to try a few different tactics and technique...wait a minute... You're Training in the field, ahahahaha. What we're essentially doing is levelling you up here, to get your experience high enough so you can go out there and catch a female. Aaahah. Try a few different things. If they work, then winnaaar. If not, nobody will care, probably not even you. If you don't try, you'll never get laid ever again. So, I recommend you do try.

This is very true. Ross becomes very whiny, as well. They all change, actually. Hmm. It's still great. Not as great, but still.
-
Well, it's like comparing genital warts with haemorrhoids. Both are irritating, in different ways.
-
How could they not have seen it coming? Fabregas has been wanting to leave for a long time, Nasri stated well in advance that he wanted to leave and the club finished 4th last year. Surely they would have realised it would be hard to get 4th place having less players. Just seems like bad planning. It's good that they're finally getting some players in, but it could have been done much sooner.
-
Fatal Frame would be good, but there's only a few good racers on the Wii...one of them being ExciteTruck. Just seems like such a stupid decision not to bring it here. It had online, as well, so that would've worked in its favour.
-
Just seen your edit now.
-
I hope it does come. But, if it doesn't, I'll never forgive Nintendo for this shit.
-
Hodgson's Liverpool or Kenny's?

Good signing. You needed a centre-back, so it makes sense to sign one. Carragher is getting on. Also, I can't help but laugh at Arsenal's sudden transfer activity. So now there are players available. Mertersacker is a good player and will probably do well at Arsenal. I was talking to an Arsenal fan at work and he was tearing his hair out. He pointed out that all/most of the other teams have signed their players early and had a pre-season together and they're leaving it late, why?
