  1. Fergie took him off in the second half. Hope he doesn't play Young for the next game as that's twice in two games now.
  2. I've never bought anything from there as the stuff they have on display isn't my sorta thing. Might check their site as that might be better. In store though, it just seems quite preppy.
  3. Yeah, this one is a lightish pink with a reddy stripe thing going on. It's an odd shirt, a bit different which is why I went for it at the time. Oddly enough, I'm looking for a shirt that you have but can't seem to find a nice enough one anywhere.
  4. River Island? Euck, no. It's from Burton, I think. Had it for a good few years now. 3, maybe 4. It's actually a very, very light pink. But I'm not sure it shows up in the photo, as it looks like white with black stripes.
  5. It's funny that people bitch about Twilight Princess for it's pacing issues and "flaws", but are willing to let it go in Wind Waker and Skyward Sword when they are arguably worse. Skyloft has a few interesting people but many of them are only interacted with during sidequests and not during the main story. Twilight Princess had Midna who is far more interesting than Fi is at any stage of Skyward Sword. Even the sub characters of TP had some degree of depth which I don't think we ever got from SS. What about the little group of Colin, Beth, Talo and Malo? That little story which takes you to Kakariko Village and the duel on the bridge is a highlight of the game. As for TP Link being treated as an idiot: I don't really get this at all. Clearly he starts off as a farm boy before maturing and becoming a hero. It's not too dissimilar to OoT's Link who starts off as a lazy little kid before eventually crossing time to become the hero.
  6. Yeah, just seen it. Shouldn't have been a penalty and he should have been carded for it. The annoying thing is that he does this early on in games. This and the QPR one were both early on in the first half. At home against teams that United should beat anyway. It's stupid and he needs to stop.
  7. Ine and I at a wedding yesterday. Here's one from last week, when we visited some mates in Newport. I think I'm telling an interesting story or anecdote.
  8. N64? Definitely grey. Not black.
  9. I missed the penalty as my joke of a laptop keeps blue screening on me. From what I've heard, he's gone down easily again under minimal contact. He's getting a reputation for it now. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets dropped from the next game or so. Talented player but he's a dick.
  10. Every role that Arnie has taken on has been tailored for him. He doesn't act the part, the film part is manipulated to suit him and his style. Look at Kindergarten Cop. There is no other actor in the world who could have nailed it, because it was a bespoken role for him. I will still argue that his Terminator in the first film is one of the greatest movie villains of all time. He doesn't have a great wealth of lines, but he has the physique and the mannerisms to suit the role. The part that makes his role even more interesting is that when you compare his physical attributes to other men, he stands out in a "super human" kinda way. Almost of a parody of the role that he is playing.
  11. Watched all of this an hour or so ago. Beatiful. Also, that soundtrack was amazing. The reason why humans exist? To create music in tandem with images and videos of space. Space rock.
  12. The guy is a 64 year old ex bodybuilder. I hope I look that good when I'm his age...
  13. I think this is part of an on-going joke between publishers about which game will be the last Wii game. "It's Skyward Sword!" "No, Xenoblade-" "Last Story!!" "Paaandora's Towerrrrr!"
  14. I feel sad and sorry for Everton more than anything. The club conduct themselves in the right way, David Moyes has next to no money to spend on bringing in players and yet he still finds a way to get the most out of his team. I like the way he manages the club and it's an utter shame that he isn't up there fighting for a top four place. Anyway, Liverpool further cement their position as a cup team. Well done for getting to the final.
  15. Lower league is very exciting. Four teams battling it out for three spots. I feel that if I don't get promotion this year, it'll happen next year.
  16. Got a 5-0 win over Fedex. What I'm happy about is that my goal difference, goals for and against is exactly the same as Yellow Submarine. So, clearly we're playing well, for now. Next two games are solid. Submarines away and Haden at home. It would be utterly amazing if I got two wins out of two there. If that happened, then I would be realistically thinking about promotion.
  17. Pretty much what Daft said. Bruce was alright in Begins, but he was so forgettable in The Dark Knight. Actually, Bale's/Nolan's Batman himself is pretty crap, too. Heath Ledger's joker carried the film for me.
  18. I find that this differs. The one here in Westbourne has weird-ish opening times. But, the one in Bournemouth is pretty good. The only downside was that due to it being after work, there was a massive queue to get my package (Zelda Special Edition). The car park is pretty small, too. But, aside from that, pretty great.
  19. I agree with you completely. Never had an issue with them, plus they always leave the card if you're not in to deliver. Also, they deliver at reasonable hours. Waiting til half 5 for a package is absurd. I also agree with you when you say you can get to know them, they feel much more personal. Actual people. Not some faceless corporation.
  20. I'm at boiling point right now. So, we decided to cancel our entire plans for today in order to stay at home and wait for the damned thing to arrive. We checked the tracking status today at around 10-ish and were told it would be delivered between 7:30 and 17:30. Le sigh. So, we waited. It didn't come. Our living room is right next to the front door and there are windows overlooking the garden. Nobody came. At 17:30 I decided to ring to see what was going on. I topped up my phone before hand to make sure that I didn't get cut off midway or something. The first phone call took 17 minutes, where I was on hold for the entire time. Finally, the music changed and I heard a ringing noise. I was put through to an automated survey...asking me how I would rate the service team who I spoke to today. At this point, I was ready to ram my hands through the phone, out through the automated service and into the guts of the owner of damned City Link. I got cut off too when the survey ended! So, I rang back again. Only, this time, I ended up waiting for 33 minutes until I spoke to somebody. I explained the whole thing to her, how I was incredibly annoyed with their waiting times, not happy with their delivery times, pissed off at the fact that nobody had turned up today and said how there was no card left yesterday. She then decided to put me on hold for a further 5 whilst she tried to figure out what was going on. When she got back to me, she informed me that she had tried to contact the delivery driver, but couldn't get through to him. Blood. Boiling. I began a full tirade only to be notified by my phone that my money was all gone. I rang back one more time, waited 10 minutes on hold, got pissed off and ate some lamb instead. In short, I wasted 20 quids worth of phone money to be told nothing. I spent over an hour on the phone, with only about two minutes actually speaking to somebody, no package has come and our entire day is wasted. I'm going to the gym now to lift some heavy things.
  21. Agree 100%. I don't think it's even "favouring" certain teams, it seems to be affecting every game on a weekly basis. I am worried for the sport. The sport needs to evolve because the idea of putting extra officials behind the goals in Europe doesn't work either. It's just adding more likelihood of human error. I would rather have a minute or two minute waiting time whilst the referee looks over a decision using video technology rather than the remaining 30 or 60 mins of a game ruined. And, it doesn't just end there. Team's survival is affected by this. There's a lot at stake here. Every time the Six Nations comes around and I watch some rugby, I can't help but be completely jealous and in awe of how fluidly their system works. Even Cricket has a very good refereeing system. And Tennis...
  22. The Catwoman costume works fine up until you get to the mask. Then it just looks like a bad Hallowe'en costume. I am looking forward to this a lot. Something about The Dark Knight didn't work for me. Joker was incredible, but I didn't get the same excitement as I did from Batman Begins. Am really looking forward to this, though. Purely for Tom Hardy's Bane.
  23. How are NOM/ONM/MON/Martin O'Neill still going? The Greystation Poo references were terrible. They were pretty childish and would hype up everything. Everything. I will never forgive them for one of the issues I bought during the N64 Era. A massive preview for Hey You, Pikachu and Sin and Punishment. At the bottom of Hey You, Pikachu, they wrote a little comment saying that it was probable the game would never come to Europe due to not being able to understand local accents. What a pisstake. Why review something so indepth when it's likely you'll never get to play it. Stupid hyping. Same with the Sin and Punishment preview. NGC were infinitely better. Seemed more mature and intelligent.
  24. Yeah, I had a little laugh about that, too. Potentially, Liverpool could have had three players sent off. It took the piss a little when Liverpool then substituted Flanagan to bring on Jones when Doni had gone off. Although, technically, if Flanagan had gone, then he wouldn't had supplied the back-pass which led to Doni walking. So, hmm.
  25. I will do. Thanks for the advice.
