  1. Could you have just bought the trilogy, @Happenstance? I'd want all three of these together. I've got the trilogy waiting to play, as I've *shock horror* never played 2 or 3. The first is a masterpiece but I found it very hard. So, I'm peppering my angus in readiness for the trilogy. I'm going to do this: Finish Xenoblade Finish ZombiU Finish Pikmin Finish Batman Finish Sonic Colours Start Metroid Prime Trilogy Start Pandora's Tower Win.
  2. Hmm, from the sounds of your opening post @Ashley, it seems like progression is quite unlikely in that place. You mentioned that they gave you a two day trial because "they're worried that you might try to get in and do some animation stuff." That...doesn't sound promising at all to me. Are they dead set against you doing any animation in the future, or are they just saying that until your contract is over? Are you enjoying the way things are with your current job and freelance? Are you more than getting by with it and allowing yourself to enjoy life? I'd be tempted to stay put and wait for a better opportunity. In theory, you could spend the whole year at that place and still end up doing your own freelance at the end of it.
  3. Two things immediately spring to mind. The Dark Knight Rises. I watched it yesterday and still can't believe that many don't like it or that some hate it. Metroid: Other M. Fuck you haters, I loved eet.
  4. Enjoy Colours. I bought it not too long ago and loved it. @Josh64: I'm tempted to get Fragile at some point because it looks lovely. Did you pay much for it?
  5. Good luck with the slow cut, Raineeng. My cut is going well. Even from a visual perspective, everything just looks better. Stomach is looking good and it still looks like I've maintained a great deal of the muscle that was there. It's definitely worth it, being able to see all that hard work pay off. The funny thing is that I don't actually feel that hungry or miss certain things. I guess part of it is some sort of mind control/manipulation. Plus, the benefits of seeing the weight/fat fall off far outweights the taste of chocolate or something.
  6. This is 15 quid at Blockbuster. Should I bother with it or have I missed the boat? I'm thinking it'll be a fun multiplayer game. Is the local multiplayer good? Online any good? Enough in single player?
  7. I'd submit one more last bid for Fabregas. Say, a 45 or even 50 million bid if we're really that serious about getting him. One more bid like that and then leave it.

We should have put in one for Gundogan. It's a shame that De Rossi isn't a bit younger as he would be an excellent signing.

Januzaj and Lingard have looked good in pre-season, so that's something. But, we definitely need an enforcer in midfield. Starting to think Fellaini might actually work.

  8. That would mean Drahkon is Jesus. Another immaculate conception.
  9. I imagine that the PS4 will do well for itself, but I can see the ONE struggling. Between the two, there's very little difference. I can't see many gamers opting for both like they have done this generation. Anyway, let's try to keep it about the WEEEYOOOOOU stuff.
  10. The simple answer is that you should allow yourself at least one rest day during the week. If anything, it'll break the "monotony" of doing something every single day. I hear too many stories of people doing something everyday for a few weeks, then they quit because they either get bored or it's too much. Plus, the body is a delicate thing and it will need some time for recovery. Go with what you think you can handle. If you feel you could do with 5, go with that. Varying things up so you're not doing the exact same thing everyday would be worth looking into. You also don't have to stick to that number every week. "Oh shit, I've only been 4 times instead of 5 this week! Am cri!" So, listen to your body and see what it says. If you're finding too simple doing 3 and want to do more, then up it and see how it goes. If you find yourself exercising every day and you're struggling, then tone it down. Trial and error is usually a good way of finding out. That's pretty much how I know I'm good with my current routine.
  11. - Blew my mind when hearing that for the first time. Hnggggggggg
  12. If you're trying to lose weight, the first thing you'll need to do is look at your diet/lifestyle. That will be the key factor in whether you lose weight or not. 2 to 6 sounds fine. As long as you're getting plenty of rest, which you probably are. Keep it consistent but manageable. If you're getting burnt out doing 6 hours a week, then maybe look at 4 and keep it at that. At the moment I workout about 5-6 hours a week, but then also play squash on top of that. But, everyone is different.
  13. Brah, we're never going to sign anyone.

At this rate, I'll be playing defensive mid for United next season with you out on the wing.

  14. The one thing I remember from my first N-E meet was where you were talking about your love for butterflies. If you love them so much, why don't you marry them, huh?!
  15. Not sure if this has already been pointed out, but you could be a relative of Serebii. The German form. GEREBII. Anyway, you are sexy as fuck, cuzzzz.
  16. It's a half baked system that could be better. I'm bitter about it because it has the potential there to be something incredible. It could be a really great rewards system. The fact that the stars expire is bizarre and doesn't make sense at all. I can understand having a limited stock-list for certain items; first come, first served and all that. But, there is no reason why your stars should expire. It goes against the idea of ALL reward systems where you save up for the better items because this system tells you that you need to spend them at a much quicker rate, or else you end up with nothing. Nintendo even fucked up my registration for the system, so I just give all my stars to Ine and she uses them for whatever. :p
  17. Oh no, Cantona has gone. United are ruined. Oh no, Schmeichel has gone. United are doomed. Oh no, Ronaldo has gone, it's over now! Oh no, Yorke and Cole are going, that's it. Oh no, no more Bryan Robson! Shit, Roy Keane has gone... Oh no, where will they score goals without Ruud? Bugger, no more Jaap Stam? Crumbs, you'll never win anything with kids! Neville has gone, who will play right back now? Oh no, how will they psych the players up without Sir Alex? Loads more where that came from. :p We'll still be up there. We may not get it together straight away, but Moyes isn't exactly a joke manager. I'd just also like to point out to Dazzy that the "hilarious" David Moyes only finished one spot behind his beloved Spurs last season in what was mostly an average season for them. And that's without having Jelavic playing on form for most of it. Spurs will do the same thing they've done for the last few seasons. They'll optimistically stay within the top 4 for most of the season, and they'll run out of steam/bottle it and Arsenal will overtake them. Arsenal will finish 4th and then it's Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City in any order for the top 3. The only thing irritating me at the moment is the lack of signings, but the flipside is that I'm also happy to see Moyes using youngsters like Januzaj and Lingard in pre-season. We also need to use Kagawa effectively which we didn't last season. Get the midfield right and tighten that defence, and I'll be happy.
  18. Yeah, there hasn't been a system seller so far. But, that might change around Christmas time when 3DWorld hits. As nice as NintendoLand is, it's not enough to entice people to buy a console, even though I actually think it's more polished than WiiSports ever was. It's a shame they actually didn't have 3DWorld at launch instead of New Super Mario Bros, as I reckon that might have helped.
  19. I'll blow a gasket if the Wind Waker HD outsells something like Pikmin or 101. Never been a fan of it.
  20. For you, maybe no. But, different people have different circumstances. I've got 6 games already and it'll soon be 7 with The Wonderful 101 when that hits. It's probably the best time (so far)to pick one up if you were thinking about it and the games are starting to trickle out, with the likes of Pikmin 3, 101, Tropical Freeze, the new Sonic and 3DWorld all out before the end of the year.
  21. I'd say that it shows that cutting the price does work, but they also need to make the general public aware that the price has been dropped. If people aren't made aware of it, how are they meant to know it's cheaper? I only knew about it because somebody on here informed me, and I in turn passed that info on to somebody else. Aside from that, I (like many others) heard nothing. When I went into my ASDA to pick it up (I had to wait an extra day or so for the console to be delivered to the store, since they weren't stocking it), they had no signs up or anything to indicate that there was a price drop. The price needs to come down, but the exposure/advertising rate needs to go up.
  22. It's good they've told others to, but Nintendo need to lead by example. Developers will try to emulate what Nintendo do if they can see that it works. If they've got no idea if the stuff will sell and if Nintendo themselves don't do anything creative there, it's not really sending out the right signals.
  23. Done. Cheers, braaaah. Too bad it's the scum against Pep's already-made team.
  24. I might take one before I workout, or I might do it in the morning, or I might do it around dinnertime. I've never believed in this "you must have your protons after working it" logic. I can see it being useful if you're hungry or something before a workout but don't have time to get something to eat. I usually have some bananas or fruit, but occasionally I'll have a shake because I will need something to keep me going. Basically, I have a total number of calories/list of food that I need to get through (in my head) before the day ends. :p
  25. I'm shocked that Nintendo are still operating this way with their Stars Catalogue. It's a fucking travesty. They're almost forcing you to buy shit because you've got a timer on your stars and you could end up getting absolutely nothing with them. As far as reward schemes go, it's complete bollocks. Whhhy does there have to be a timer? Why can't you save up your points and use them for something amazing when it eventually does come along? Look at Sainsburys with their nectar points. Fantastic system in many different senses. You get points that can go towards a plethora of items. Why doesn't Nintendo do something like that? "Oh, you've purchased a game off the eShop, here are 10 points." "Well done for purchasing NSMBU retail, here's 300 points. The digital version will give you 400 points." "You've saved up 1000 points. This gives you £10 off your next eShop purchase." "You've saved up 10,000 points. You can now purchase a Pro Controller." Something like that. An actual rewards system that builds up and where you can actually buy worthwhile shit. It's beneficial. If Nintendo want to push their digital distribution service, this would be a great way to go about it. Who the fuck cares about wallpapers? What is this, 2002?
