I've only just done 2-C. Work has started up again and I haven't gamed in about 2 weeks. This is awesome, though. At the moment, I'm trying to get into the hang of doing multiple attacks at once.

Brah, they left the tea bag in for too long with you. I'm not that brown, but I have a slight tan. I actually burned at certain points during the summer. Didn't think that was possible.

I haven't read any posts in this thread since the trailer, so I'll go back and do that later (just about to play The Wonderful 101), but...this looks like complete shit. I dislike so many things about it and I won't be wasting my money on going to see it. Unless the glowing reviews start to surface at some point. Are there no new ideas anymore? This is something that didn't need doing, like the Total Recall remake.

I watched both the England and Belgium games last night. In fairness to Belgium, they were missing Hazard who is shit hot at the moment, as well as Kompany and Vermaelen. Lukaku was benched, too. If all four were playing, I dread to think what the scoreline would have been, the finishing wasn't that great yesterday. Kevin De Bruyne is class. It's a shame he's at Chelsea as he really should be starting for a club every single week. If he was at a club like Everton or Liverpool, he would be playing every game and this country would be raving over him. Definitely my man of the match yesterday. I quite liked what I saw of Witsel, too. Scotland did ok, there's not a lot more they could have done given the opposition and the calibre of players that were available to them. Not a bad performance, not a great performance, but somewhere in the middle. Also agree with @Jon that Rhodes should have started. As for England, I'm happy to see both Lambert and Welbeck get themselves on the scoresheet. I thought the Lambert-starting-games-thing would be a token gesture, just there to please the fans, but he actually looks really comfortable in it and looks, dare I say it, proud to wear the shirt. Exactly what the country needs. I'm more than happy to see him in the line-up now. Same for Welbeck, I can't really fault either. Granted, there will be much harder games than this, if we progress.

But why? Is it a glitch? Feeling a bit meh because I should have done a lot better with all of that saved. Now I've got to pay for a shitload of form training after losing 4-1.
-
What the actual fuck? I set my team days ago and rejigged my tactics and substitutions more than 30 minutes before kick off. NONE of it saved. No subs, no tactics, no playmaker, no money, none of it. What's going on? When I had saved it, the information was displayed showing it had been saved. But, looking at my game report, it's gone. All of it. Except my lineup. Lost 4-1. Not happy at all.

Quality gif, that. I've had a bit of time to think things through and relax after all of this transfer shite that we've put ourselves through this summer. We should have got Fellaini much sooner, but alas, at least he's here. He's a bully, but we kinda need that in the middle of the park. We need somebody strong in there who will intimidate the opposition and get right under their skin. Big and strong. So, I'm sure he'll do a good job. I'm more concerned with how we've conducted business. If we play 4-3-3 with Fellaini as the defensive, Carrick as the passer and Kagawa as the attacker, with Rooney, Van Persie and maybe even somebody like Zaha/Nani ahead of them, I would be pleased. We do have creative players. Kagawa, Zaha and the likes of Nani are creative. They need to get played.

I don't think I would even have earned that much after tax, nevermind saving it. I can't wait to get my own house one day. Although, getting that first one is going to be tough. I almost bawled when I saw the house prices in Manchester when I was last there. Hu hu hu. I almost went to Uni in Lancaster before choosing Brighton, so I bet if I had gone there I would have ended up staying around and maybe would have looked into getting a property by now...or something.
-
Well done, Arsenal. You wanted the player and you got him, no matter the price. If he takes off in England, that'll be a bargain in the long term.
-
It's shocking. Tempted to blame the Chief Exec more than Moyes, but neither have covered themselves in any glory. Icing on the fucking cake: It's 22:22 and we haven't even confirmed the Fellaini deal. Wouldn't surprise me one fucking bit if that doesn't go through. We deserve to be laughed at because this is disgraceful. For far too long we have ignored that midfield problem and there was no better time to sort it out than now. We've blown it. Even signing somebody like Christian Eriksen would have been good. Going out to Spain apparently willing to meet a buy-out clause of somebody who wants to come to the club and then NOT sealing the deal is disgraceful practice. We should be ashamed.
-
Glad you like it. But, seriously, FUCK this. I was actually excited when Moyes was announced as manager because, if there's one thing he can do well, it's get that midfield sorted. I rated Everton's midfield with the likes of Pienaar, Osman, Fellaini, etc. It's the one area of the squad we needed to desperately improve. So utterly disappointed with him and the rest of United on this one. Chasing stupid deals, not closing, UNWILLING TO MEET BUYOUT CLAUSES ON THE LAST DAY OF A PLAYER WHO WANTED TO COME. Seriously, just...fuck it. So far we've had a shit pre-season, a good away win at Swansea and two below par performances against Chelsea and Liverpool. Not impressed at all. The worst thing is that the line-ups he is choosing are the same line-ups that Fergie used. Why haven't we tried anything different? No Kagawa, not even a hint of the youth that we used in pre-season given a chance. I would forgive him if he had at least tried something different with our line-ups. Instead, we have Giggs and Young.
-
Yeah, it won't happen. I know it won't. Oh my fuuuuck. Apparently we've now pulled out of the Herrera deal due to the amount of tax we'd need to pay/additional fees. This is awful. At this rate, if you chucked us in a barrel of tits, we'd come out sucking our thumbs. Can't close a deal to save our lives. We are the new Arsenal.
-
I would love it if United were to hijack the Ozil deal, but that's not going to happen. Not this manager and Chef Exec.
-
Looks like the Herrera deal is hitting bureaucratic problems. Apparently, we can go up until 12 with special dispensation and parts of the deal can be sorted out afterwards, something to do with meeting the buy-out clause of his deal. Either way, I don't like this leaving it til the last minute business. I'm about 60% sure we won't get him and Fellaini will be it. Make that 70%.
-
Unless something absolutely phenomenal happens tonight, we have to say that United have been utterly fucking dreadful in this transfer window. I can't remember a worse transfer window for us. Fellaini. It was so brutally obvious that Moyes wanted him, so why didn't he get him much earlier? Worse still, we actually missed the deadline to buy him at a cheaper price. So, if we do get him, he's more expensive than he would have been, later than he would have been, and he's not necessarily the player we need. Thiago Alcantara. If we really, really, really wanted him, we should have been quicker and not fucked around with the transfer. Bayern got the deal sorted in barely a day...what were we doing for weeks? Fabregas. Dear lord. If we were serious about him, again we should have gone in and not made a joke bid of 25 million or whatever it was. Baines. We don't need him. Why are we going after him? De Rossi. If you're serious about a player, you go out there and you get them. Tottenham have done this with the likes of Eriksen and Soldado. You've got to be fucking bullish when it comes to transfer and you can't argue over a few measly quid. Herrera: First bid rejected. Second bid apparently rejected. If we get this done, then we are extremely fucking lucky. I feel that we've left it too late. We haven't got the luxury to bargain so much when this is an area that desperately needs fixing. It needs fixing, so we should have looked to sort this out quickly, get the new players in and allow the team time to gel. Doing things last minute like this is nonsense. I wonder if replacing the Chief Executive and Manager at the same time was a wise move. It clearly hasn't worked, although I'm more inclined to blame Woodware than Moyes on this one. If Arsenal get Ozil and we get nobody, then we'll have to look at this as a disaster.
-
That value for Bale is insane. Well done to Spurs for robbing Madrid blind. Worth nowhere near that amount. At least £30 million overpriced.
-
In fairness to him, Liverpool turn it up in the bigger games. Well done, Liverpool. Can't complain about the scoreline, although I did think we did better in that second half. Cleverley was such a passenger all game. In matches like this, you can see why we're linked to the likes of Fellaini and De Rossi, we need somebody strong in that midfield.
-
He's not in the squad, no. It's annoying because if he were in any other top team, he would be starting every game. Rooney being out for this game should have opened the door for him to play. As good as Ryan Giggs has been for us, he shouldn't be starting this game. Neither should Young. Giggs shouldn't because it's time we used him as an impact player and gave the position to a hungrier player and Young because his performances haven't merited it. Also, as we've seen with no Rafael and then Jones going off, we have no cover for right back. We are we trying to get Baines when we've already got Evra (who plays every game) with Fabio and Buttner for cover. We need another right back. Jones isn't a right back and neither is Valencia. Finally, why are the likes of Anderson and Nani on the bench if they're not likely to get a game anyway or their futures are uncertain? If Nani is fit, he should be playing. Anderson should either be starting every game to get a run, or he should leave.
-
Why did we bother signing Kagawa if we have no intention on using him? You can't seriously tell me that Ashley Young and Valencia (both awful last season and looked below par this season already) both deserve to be in the squad ahead of him. What's going on? 1-0 down already.
-
@Jon's advice is sound. Do what he says, get plenty of rest and look at the food you are eating. You'll need to look at that if you want to put on significant clean mass. Are you a veggie?

Dazzybee, is that you?

In other news, I spent about 6 hours in work today getting things ready for Monday, first day back. I stayed about 3 hours longer than anybody else yesterday too and the day before that. It's a bit sad because although what I've got planned/what I've been doing has the potential to be great/fun for the kids, nobody else will really give a shit. Dat feel when you're a teacher and see cheap laminating pouches somewhere.

Bournemouth is alright, I quite like it. Although, I think I like the area around my school more, Ringwood. I think I prefer the greener places as opposed to the beach. Anyway, Bournemouth beach is better than Brighton's. I'll echo @nightwolf's bit about Manchester. I love it.
-
He's a great signing, but Soldado looks like the one for me. A target man. Lamella looks like another good buy, too. It proves that there are signings that can be made out there. Eriksen was a steal...

I should have played a different formation today. My luck ran out, and we're still looking for our first away win. But, hard games to start off with. I am proud.
