I did say "fuaaaark, those were better than the last set!" so I guess that counts. She is improving, though. The reps are getting cleaner and she seems to know what she's doing. Best set of deadlifts, yet. She's also quite decent at stiff-legged deadlifts, too. Impressive, Starfox.

Who is this imposter who has taken the place of Aaron Ramsey? He's unreal at the moment. Arteta was the shit today. I was surprised at how lightweight Liverpool were in midfield in comparison. Cazorla, Arteta and Ramsey had a field day. Ran rings around them all game.

Who would have thought that Chelsea would have played better football under Benitez than under Mourinho?

Fuuuuck. Yesterday, I watched Mr. Nobody and looooved it. I knew absolutely nothing about it beforehand and only knew of it through a thread that appeared on another forum. Really enjoyed it. Very, very surprised at how there isn't/wasn't a buzz of any kind about it.

I'm not sure anymore. That second half might just have saved Jol. Fulham are playing better, although the 3 subs we made at half-time didn't help us and we haven't got going in the second. It had to be done though, we got a bit unlucky with injuries. I'd say that Hughton has the better team/squad, so it seems that he's underachieving by quite a stretch. It does sum up the mentality that we have at the moment. We go 3-0 up, sit back and then concede. City go 3-0 up, keep attacking and are winning 7-0. We need to be a bit more ruthless. First 30 minutes was brilliant and we need to play like that every game. Both halves.

We picked up a load of cookery books on offer at Sainsburys, about 2 quid each. Tons of ideas in there, especially for curries with your meat/chicken/fish and vegetables, quite decent in terms of calories too as they're not too heavy on yoghurt, for example. Be on the lookout. Supermarkets tend to have good deals, so keep your eyes open. Maybe even a local bookshop? Waterstones probably have tons of cookbooks in there, I'm sure you can find a bargain. You could try bodybuilding.com. There might be some meal ideas there. It's worth investing in a good cookbook. For a couple of quid, you can get great ideas.

We're scoring goals, brah. I thought you would be loving this. Chris Hughton and Martin Jol seem to be having a competition to see who can get sacked first. At the moment, I'd say Jol is winning.

Fajitas, all day, every day. Get a cook book, brah. Pitta bread with grilled chicken and vegetables. Yum, yum. I strained my wrist earlier in the week, so haven't lifted for a few days. It's getting better, but it sucks not being able to do what I want to do.

I disagree, there's some class players in our squad. We're undergoing our own transition and it'll take time. The league cup performance in midweek was the best we've played in a long while. Quick attacking play and it was pretty easy on the eye. 1-0 thanks to Valencia. I'm liking the look of the team today, and the bench is pretty awesome. We've got the likes of Hernandez, Kagawa, Nani to come on, and Fellaini to tighten things up. We're getting better.

Both TheGameCollection and Grainger Games are high on my list, at the moment. Whenever I'm looking for a specific game, these are two of the sites I usually visit first. Grainger in particular really came through for me with Need for Speed: Most Wanted.

So nice you posted eet twice. Mirin' all of those. Chat roulette made me laugh the most. French kiss is clever. The rollercoaster one would be insane with a massive group of you.

Wear a suit and a name tag that says Lloyds or TSB or Barclays. Then, carry a plank of wood or a pole with you, wearing shoes that ballerinas wear. Tell everyone you're going as your bank balance, which scares the fuck out of you, brah.

I played the trial version of this game on the Wii and it was fantastic. If I had cottoned on to it all much sooner, I would have bought the full game. By then, it was too late and I was already looking forward to other games. Will be getting this, if anything to make up for that. Provided this doesn't turn out to be utterly dreadful, of course.

It's not just the protein you have to look at, though. Like you said with the salt. It's not the best thing you could be eating. You could probably get away with it on a bulk or a cheat day, but if you're trying to cut or maintain, I'd stay away from it, personally. Aside from that, the food doesn't taste that great, anyway. If it were a cheat day, I'd rather go out for a subway or gourmet burger kitchen or something.

I'm lucky because Ine understands it, so I haven't had too much of a struggle explaining it to her. But, some people out there (a surprising amount of men, too) just don't have a clue. I looooooool at those who say they'll go and work out and just pack on the muscle like they're going to buy a new game or something. "Yup, I've got two weeks off from work, so I'm going to hit the gym and get reeeeeeeally strong and put on loads of muscle." *dies inside*
-
You'll see a lot on that over the net, too. Some will say eat 2000+, some will say maintain at 2000, so eat 2500-3000 and some will argue that you maintain at 2500 and need to eat above that. Work out roughly what you currently eat first, and go from there. I'd probably say you'd need to aim for 2500 at the least. You can always tweak the figures slightly too, which I expect you'll do anyway. We joke about this, but they really do think this. I was talking about squatting the other day with another girl at work, and when I asked her what she did to work out her legs, she said: "I just use the cross-trainer, that'll work out my legs." Twiggiest legs I've ever seen, evaaaar. Pretty sure they'd snap if I blew at them.

Hahaha, I've said that one. Keep your arse up. BACK STRAIGHT. KNNEEES. KNEEEES. WATCH THE KNEEEEESSSS. Probably just as well we do it at home. I imagine quite a lot of women feel self conscious lifting in the gym. There was this one time where I was finishing up and doing some cardio before home and this woman was doing some bent-over barbell rows in the weight area. Pretty much every guy's head had turned and were oogling her backside as she's lifting. It's even worse when you see that rare woman who squats. I do see why women probably stay in the cardio areas, or just do classes. The guys don't really make it easy. :p

It's a pain in the arse. "Oh, you do too much gymming. Here. Here's a cake that I made WHILST YOU WERE SLEEPING. I also made a pie whilst you were in the bathroom. EAT IT ALL." Ahh, so you're an actual vegetarian and not one of these ones that eats fish? Seriously, quorn, eggs and milk, brah. Aside from chicken, quorn is something we eat a fair bit of. It's my lamb mince substitute and I'm certain that it's better for you, too. Eggs are a massive help. As you're bulking, you'll struggle at the start if you're not used to eating that particular amount of food. It may even feel a bit repetitive. You have to think of it almost like it's a "game" and that there is something you get at the end of it. It'll be worth it in the end. I'm trying to get her out of that mindset. She told people in work that she was lifting weights and they were telling her "nooo, you just need to do cardio, don't lift, you'll get big!" blah blah. We're doing it all slowly, but she's making good improvements on pretty much everything at the moment. Dem n00b gainz. I'm also trying to get her to lift more efficiently and correctly, so that she won't end up rounding her back on higher weights, etc. It'll take time. We ended up buying some more weight plates and dumbbell bars yesterday in Cardiff, so it'll mean we can get our workouts done quicker.

It's all about dem VR Troopers, brah.

I haaaaate riddles with stupid answers. It reminds me of those dumb television phone-in questions that they have on during advert breaks. "What is the day today? Is it: A. Monday? B. Blue? C. Chlamydia? Calls will cost £12 a minute." I love giraffes but I hate how facebook is turning my love for them into a hatred.
-
What is with all of these bit-strips that people are starting to make on facebook? These things. Why? Why are they everywhere? Urgh.

Quorrrrrrn. It's your friend. Do you eat eggs, milk and fish? If so, hit all of those. Daily. Pretty sure you'll be able to make good progress with all of that. As for feeding time, it might be a mental thing, but I like to have eaten something beforehand and I find that I have more energy. Saying that, I've also lifted when coming home straight from work and then eating afterwards. Just make sure that you're eating what you should be eating and the right amount of it and it shouldn't matter too much. Exercise has been going great, the cut has been working and I'm seeing a clear visible difference. However, it is now half-term and I've been places with Ine and been back to Wales. It's almost like the anti-cut...the mother in particular has been forcing food down me, making cakes, etc. It hasn't all gone to pot, but it hasn't helped. Dammit.

No question about it, all three should have had online. Not having Nintendoland online at the start was just a sign of things to come. It's a pity. I love Nintendo because they do come up with some great ideas in isolation, but I'm finding more and more that they don't run away with these ideas and truly explore every aspect of it. Pikmin 3 could have been colossal online...

Aaaand to the back-burner this game goes. That...sucks. The Gamepad implementation on City was superb. It made the game seamless, it flowed so well. Not in a great rush to pick this up now.

The point about whether or not a multiplayer suits the game or not is completely the wrong way of grappling with this problem. The problem is with Nintendo's mindset and how they're actively looking for ways to NOT include an online multiplayer. Would an online multiplayer harm the game in any way? No. Would it improve the game? Obviously, yes, as there are lots of people who can't get people around for a local player meet-up. They are alienating a lot of their audience by doing this. It annoys the shit out of me because it just shows that they're not adapting to the times. This is what annoys me the most.
