Snipers. Snipers everywhere.

If you see any deals of any kind, post them in here. Would be great if the game was sold for sub-£40, as I'm pretty sure it would tempt even more people into getting the game. Plus, we need to save monies for the millions of other games that are coming.

Agreed with all of this. I'd be torn over a HD GX though. Half of me would be overjoyed with F Zero in HD. The other would be heartbroken that I've got game disc already inserted into my Wii in the bedroom, permanently hooked up to the telly. I'd love a new F Zero but I don't really trust Nintendo with making it. The fanboy dream would be for them to give it to SEGA again and see if they work their magic again.

I had heard rumours of him being off earlier in the day at the RedCafe forums. @Sexual Chocolate broke the news to me yesterday when we were playing Battlefield. Apparently they weren't giving him enough money for transfers? Stupid on both parties. Palace are nuts to let him go and Pulis is a bit of a dick for leaving days before the start of the season.

I've just had a look on Amazon and Fifa14 is still at £41. You'll have a found a bargain if you can get it for under £40. Imo, you'll need to have some kind of voucher or discount code of some kind to do that because it's going to be full price everywhere.

Hmm, it might be worth a go when it becomes really cheap. It's the type of game I could imagine being free on PS+ eventually. Who knows. Had some great games tonight with @Sexual Chocolate. This game feels absolutely hard as nails to me. I know that I'm still new to it, but I hope I improve dramatically really soon.

Metroid Trilogy would be weird as fuck. That's almost like a remaster of a remaster seeing as the first two were on the Cube being the trilogy was on the Wii. If it's F Zero, we can say goodbye to a new one, I reckon. At least we'd have it on the system, but still. Hmm. Majora's Mask? That's been talked about for ages but that would be a LOT of work to remaster for the WiiU. Plus, two Zelda remakes? Not sure if that's pushing it. Galaxy...could be. But then, that would mean NSMBWiiU, 3D World AND Galaxy on the system. There would be three Marios, but not a single one with its own identity since the others started on other systems. It needs a Galaxy of its own. Looking at what I've just typed, F Zero seems like a good shout, tbh. If the rumour is true. Nintendo right now aren't going to make a tighter game with as much content as GX, I don't think they have it in them.

Playing it with somebody else does make it a bit more fun, doesn't it? It's the perfect demo, one of the best I've ever played. There's enough there to intrigue you, but not too much to spoil what the game could be about. There's tension and atmosphere, but it's not too long so that you feel you've seen "everything". It's hooked me in alright. Ine said to me earlier, "I kinda want to watch youtube to see what happens next." Maybe we'll have to have a go again! Gah. This could be one to watch out for. Having Del Toro direct this is just fucking ace. On so many levels.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch
Fierce_LiNk replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Why the tin foil hat? There are no UFOs that we're hiding here or any conspiracy theories flying about. Nobody is really saying that he has to be in the game, but merely suggesting it would be a nice way to remember the man. He's been a lifetime advocate for video games and Nintendo, regularly discussing this in the media and interviews. It may not seem like much, but that alone raises the profile of this form of media and entertainment, showing that even somebody who was famous, busy, older than your average gamer still loved to play Ninteno games. The guy was a diehard, played games for decades and even named his daughter after the original Zelda. He's starred in Nintendo advertisements/commercials and his daughter was at the Zelda concert on stage in London, so he and his family are well known to Nintendo fans. I'm struggling to think of a more well-known/famous Nintendo junkie, he's a bit of a rare breed in that respect. It's not a big deal if he's not in it, but something as simple as having an NPC with the name "Robin" would mean a lot to his family and also to the thousands/millions of gamers who are also fans of his work. -
- £19.08 or something off ebay. I won an auction for the very first time evaaar. - got this for Ine for around £10 in the PSN sales. - preordered this for £40 from Tesco. Games, games, gaaaaaaaames.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

That would be a very respectable thing to do. I imagine his daughter would be happy to allow Nintendo to include him in the game in some sort of forum. A character named after him or a location or some sort of nod, it doesn't even have to be a big thing. -
That would be amazing if you could do that! Imagine the forum wars, you could have one forum (like an xbox forum) taking on another (PS4/this one). It would be a great laugh. Make it happen, EA! I hope you can get a few more XboxOne owners to pick this up. It would be good just for a community thing more than anything, nice to have people playing together. Cheers for the code, brah. I'll add that to the first post. Shall I put you down in the first post as an interested/confirmed player? Awesome! Nice one, dude. I'm going to edit the first post slightly to make it clearly who has the game on the way.

You probably dun goof'd by getting Knack, but aye, too many games. I've got at least half a dozen PSN games that I haven't started yet. There's more than enough there. FIFA, Battlefield and Destiny are going to be such time suckers. You can easily play those for months and months.

Ine is doing the Mario Kart League tonight at around 8 til about 9. I'll be online after that.

It really is, brah. We should have a game soon, I'm sure Kav and Cooky will be up for it if they're available. Now that I've caught the bug, I want moar. It really is overwhelming, though. It's muuuuuch, much better when you've got people that you know. I thought Kav and I played alright yesterday, trying to back each other up, letting others know where the enemy was coming from, etc. I think with even more people it could be amazing.

Unless I'm missing something, this article was posted on Tuesday and hasn't been updated. So, it's just what was posted after the reveal, not really following on from the info released since about it being a timed exclusive.

Quite surprised that there's going to be a 360 version. That's pretty good from the 360's perspective mind, the console that just keeps going and going. Still, hope it doesn't hamper the now-gen version of the game. As long as the game doesn't come toooo late, I'll be glad to just play it. I'll be a bit pissed still if it only comes to PC or something after it hits the Xboxes, but I'm hopeful again for a PS4 release. Panic slightly over.

Happy Birthday to our very own, @dazzybee. Hope you have a good day, brah. Spurs striker Roberto Soldado says: "I have spent a lot of time training and now know that the ball must travel between the two posts. I promise to repay your faith in me, Mr. Bee."

Can somebody freeze me until October? K thnxbaiiiii. I promised myself I wouldn't get excited, but...

Oh aye, it's totally unpredictable. I say I'm not looking forward to it, but I am really. Nervous as fuck. Should be a great season. Anything has to be better than the shite I saw last year, aha.
-
I tried this earlier. Tbh, I thought most of what I read about people finding it scary was going to be overblown. But, fucccccccck, did not enjoy that one bit.

Not meaning to put a downer on it, but that's twice now where you've played out of your skin and not won the league. The other time was during that season where we pipped you to it, where you beat us 4-1 at Old Trafford. Both seasons Liverpool couldn't have given anything more and still couldn't win the league. The problem is that now Chelsea have strengthened, as have City and Arsenal. We've got a better manager now, too. Liverpool's big moment was last season and I can't see them playing anywhere near as well as they did. Teams will be looking to mark players like Sturridge and Coutinho out of the game. City look good for the title again, or Chelsea. Between them two really, for now anyway. The likes of us, Liverpool and Arsenal will be challenging for the top four and Spurs, but not sure they have the quality to break into it. Everton are on the fringes, too. That's...City, Chelsea, Us, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs and Everton for four places. We really needed to strengthen during this window. Not just with anybody, but with actual quality players.

I had some good games with @kav82 on here tonight. The highlight of which was, "err...is that the cradle from Goldeneye? What's it doing 'ere then?!" Also, fuuuuck, there was one map which basically took place on a series of islands. We witnessed a storm take place and it really looked gorgeous. I think we both stopped shooting at that point and oohed and aaahhed at the sky. As for our performances, I described myself as the Tom Cleverley of our squad. Basically, absolutely fucking useless. Couldn't organise a prayer in a mosque kind of useless.

Yeah, I'm not really over the moon with Rooney being captain. Actually, not looking forward to the start of the season at all now that Shaw is out for four weeks! We bought a great player and a great prospect, but we've also seen so many go. No Giggs, no Evra, no Ferdinand, no Vidic. Our defence looks dire and we still need reinforcements for midfield. One more top, top quality midfielder, at least one defender and a fucking proper right back because Rafael is ALWAYS injured. In fact, considering we're going with a back 3 which will most likely be made up of Evans, Jones and Smalling, we're not being too clever about the whole thing given that all three spend so much time out injured. Not sure how we've managed it after signing Shaw and Herrera so early, but we've managed to piss away this transfer window. Dunno how we've not managed to add any more to this squad considering that the league starts this Saturday. City bought early, Chelsea bought early, Liverpool bought early, Arsenal bought early. I thought the signings of Shaw and Herrera would be the start, not it. LVG must have seen something with the youngsters that we haven't or he and the board have something spectacular planned.

I really have no idea. Actually, scrap my initial though. I just played the video again and skipped straight to 43 seconds. Honestly, I swear to God, I couldn't stop laughing. It looks fucking ridiculous. Probably worth playing for the lolz. That drill at 47 seconds set me off, I can't stop. Oh lawd.
