Nice one of the next films I want to see. Along with American Sniper (please be good)
-
I was introduced to a naughty website recently that allowed me to watch a few new films, and I plan to watch more (hopefully that doesn't offend anyone here) Anyways, given that Oscar season's approaching I opted with some Oscar bait films first. So far watched Birdman, Nightcrawler, Foxcatcher and a bit of light relief in Big Hero Six. Birdman is meant to be the favourite for a few awards isn't it? I enjoyed it, but it took a while for me to get into it. 2nd half of the film was where I started to enjoy it more. Don't think I could watch it again for a while. Nightcrawler was pretty damn awesome, enjoyed it from the get go. Reminded me of Drive in terms of style and the anti-hero character. Really good film. Foxcatcher was amazing. Carell is so good in this, completely unrecognizable from that lovable 40 year old virgin. Tatum and Ruffalo are also really good too. Thought it ended a little bit abruptly, like the whole final 20 minutes alot happens across different time frames and is quite wooomph all at once. Still awesome though. Big Hero Six was the light relief I needed after some pretty dark films. Another good Disney Animation studio's flick. Still on a roll after Tangled, Wreck it Ralph & Frozen. Would like to see Disney tackle other Marvel or Star wars franchises or characters like... Disney Animations presents "The Ewoks". Want to see Theory of everything and American Sniper soon.

Not really to be honest no. Nothing's substituted it either which I guess is a good thing. Not like i'm scoffing chocolate or coffee to make up for it.

13 days, no alcohol. Not so difficult And that's with 2 crates of beer in the garage at home. I'm going to go through till the 29th January without it. I would have gone for the whole month, but off to Prague on 29th for a stag do, and while I guess I could not drink over there, I guess given the occasion it's probably going to happen.

I'm about half way through this now, and while I am enjoying it, It's not what I was expecting. Given the unanimous praise this game has garnered on both PS3 and PS4 versions I went into this as if I'd be playing the sure fire game of the forever, but half way through It's not seemed that special. Please don't read that as me thinking the game is bad or crap, it's not. Far from it. And I am enjoying my play through so far. I just guess given how much positivity surrounds the game I went in with massively high expectations. But then again, half way through perhaps the second half will be where it all kicks into gear. Also, talk about an unforgiving trophy list for the PS4 Remaster, geeez. Major Edit - After reading a couple of the impressions above and trying to avoid spoilers, it would appear I'm not on my own with regards to feeling slightly under whelmed, but also it does look like the 2nd half changes the pace a bit and becomes more entertaining.

Thread Bump #2 So another game that I'm late to the party on. Got this for Christmas and completed it Tuesday night. The campaign's first mission was really not a great start to the game. I know COD game's aren't necessarily famed for their gripping campaigns, but based from the others I've played the introduction mission is normally at least slightly gripping. This just annoyed me. But that said by mission 3 and getting to meet Iron's and know him more the campaign picked up a little more. So after completing it I can say that the campaign is okay, but damn is it short. Each mission seemed to be over really really quickly. Just when I thought it was part one of a mission, it'd be over.

Thread bump. Got this for Christmas on PS4 rather than Unity. I did ask for this one however, it wasn't a mistake on the list Completed it yesterday and have to say that it was a blast. In the AC series I've only played 1 and 3. This was completely different and in a good way. I loved the setting and environment. I loved the sea shanties when travelling to new locations. The battles in the sea and boarding Spanish and English fleets was amazing and I enjoyed strategically picking ships based on their loot in helping me to upgrade the Jackdaw. I've not completed the upgrades to the ship yet or the side quest items, just the main memory sequences. Have to say the final sequences I was a little put off doing them as I was getting to the point where tailing missions were beginning to grate on me a little. And you could guarantee at least one sequence would involve tailing someone. It was the actual 'Assassins Creed' parts of the game I ended up disliking the most. I also really like the idea of managing your own fleet built up of the ships you take over. I've got the Jackdaw to a level high enough to take on Man o War ships but only when they are on their own. So my fleet now has 4 Man o War's but i'll be adding more as I can. I'm guessing I'll need to fully do the ship up before tackling the 4 legendary ships in each corner of the map. But it's something I definitely want to tackle. As said now it's completed, I'm moving onto another game of i got for Christmas in Call of Duty Advance Warfare, but I'll be playing at least a while longer on AC4 just continuing to pillage other fleets ships in order to upgrade mine and complete the naval contracts and legendary ships. tl:dr > 1st AC game I've liked out of 3 I played. Completed it, will continue to play more side quest stuff though. Give me a open world pirate game some time soon please.

Unfortunately as Wiziwig is now no longer working which was my go to place to get WWE PPV's, I may actually bite and do this. If it's true from the video that Vinne Mac was on and we do get all the same stuff as USA, then hey yeah I'm happy to pay £10 for classic raws / classic ppvs and new original shows not to mention the monthly PPV. But... only if that is the case will I do it. unless anyone knows any other good flash streams for PPVs?

Biggest regret was buying Thief over Wolfenstein on PS4. Still yet to buy Wolfenstein despite them practically giving it away now. Was going to yesterday but opted for COD:AW and Last of us Remastered. Another regret was buying 1 Amiibo, once you pop, you can't fucking stop. I now have all of wave one and two (with help from the rents over Christmas)

3 Nights in this 5 star hotel in Prague for the end of January for a stag doo. and the flights of course. Wife is not pleased as I'm on this stag doo in Prague, she's still not sure where the corresponding hen doo is taking place, but not likely to be abroad. Works for me.

So the first time in 8 years I'm working on Christmas eve. We finish at 2pm so that's not too bad, but it's a very alien feeling working today. I plan on heading out with some friends at around 3pm for some festive drinks, then when my wife gets home from work at 6pm will be spending the evening in with her and the cats watching Christmas films. Again another first for me, spending Christmas eve in (well first since I turned 18). Christmas day planning on spending the morning at home with Heather exchanging pressies and spoiling our cats to tuna and turkey. Then we're going our separate ways. I'll be heading to my parents for Christmas dinner and spending the day there, and Heather will be off to her parents to do the same. Late afternoon I'll take a short walk over to Heather's parents to spend some time there, and then in the evening we'll both walk back to my parents for some more time there. Alot of people find it odd we don't both just go to one set of parents together, then go to the other set. But we're both very set in our ways, and neither of us can imagine spending Christmas day away from our parents, so this is the best option we came up with. Boxing day, brother and his wife, sister and her husband my 2 niece and my nephew will all be over my mum and dads house. Heather and I will be round too and we'll have a 2nd Christmas day but with a buffet rather than a roast dinner. We then all head to the pub for afternoon of drinking with the finale being all back at parents house watching films in the living room till the late hours of the night. I cannot wait.... what are your plans this Christmas N-Europe? A little early, but Merry Christmas N-Europe "After all it's only 1 more sleep till Christmasssss"

Anyone download LoadOut this week? I've had a few games on it, seems fun enough I guess. But I've heard that the more you level up, the more expensive items become to purchase, so... pay to win type game then. I also got PVZ:Garden Warfare when that was free, also enjoying that too. Just stuck on which game I should put more effort into. First world problems and all that.

Little Mac, Captain Falcon & Pit are sat in my nearest Royal Mail parcel collection facility waiting for me to collect tomorrow morning. Smyths had wave 2 in yesterday so picked up Zelda & Diddy as heard they're hard to get hold of too. So just Luigi from Wave 2 to get. Mums taking care of the rest of wave one for me for Christmas so.. yay yet I don't own Smash Bros Wii U yet:blank:

Christmas Tree's are fun: Bonus
-
My Pit got dispatched today, but nothing from Shopto about Little Mac and Falcon who I've pre-ordered. @Hero\-of\-Time are you buying one of each for keeping one sealed and using the other? That's what I plan on doing, but i'm taking my sweet ass time with it currently. Only got 4 different so far (all still sealed)

I'll throw it out there and say that the Ryback vs Kane match was sending me to sleep. It didn't need to be on that far down the schedule at all. And it was just a complete... meh match. Rusev & Swagger should have had a longer match for sure. I was surprised with the Big Show vs Rowan match, actually far more entertaining than I thought it would be. Thought it was a great PPV in honesty aside from Ryback and Everyone's favourite Demon Kane match. Also I dislike the Uso's, ... and Cena winning was frustrating. He's going to be Brock isn't he. Overcoming all the odds again...

Just had a look and wow they are literally selling everything even down to office chairs. No doubt some of the car parts are going to go for some big money to massive F1 fans. Be interested in seeing how much alot of it goes for, but won't be partaking in the bidding myself.

Well I made this thread on Thursday 11th. I didn't have a drink Thursday night, I had one Friday night as I was in the mentality of "Hey It's Friday" Saturday I was in London with my wife and 4 friends for the deliberate reason of "getting on it" So had more than one. Nothing Sunday, and I'm my office now typing this up, feeling knackered as I was up till 4am this morning watching WWE, but not in need of a drink. In need of going to bed heh. Didn't get any beers with the food shop last night, so yeah. Interesting to see other people's thoughts on it too and seeing how many of you are either not drinking much at all, or a few that enjoy a tipple most nights. It's a shitty mentality and will probably catch up to me, but I tend to write December off from 20th through to the new year and see it as a free pass to eat and drink what I like. Well certainly since I was 18 anyways.
-
Can't say I need a drink a day no, I just have been in the house 99% of the time. And we always put beer on the food shop if we haven't got any. I dunno if it's like I said something to do while relaxing, putting my feet up? I've never thought I need a beer though.
-
So 11 days into December, And looking back I can say I've had at least 1 can/bottle/pint of beer every night so far. But then I looked back further and can recall having at least 1 beverage almost every evening quite far back, perhaps even back as far as summer. My fridge always has beer in it, I find if i'm watching football out then i'll have a beer, even if watching at home on my own.. i'll have a beer. On evenings I'll have my food with my wife, put the dishes in the dishwasher, give the kitchen a quick clean. And then either watch tv with her, or take myself to my game room and play my ps4. This is accompanied with a beer. Should we have friends over for food on an evening, I'll have a beer. Should we go out for a meal just my wife and I...I'll have a beer. you see what I'm saying here. Now... Is that a problem? Do I have a problem? I rarely have more than one on a weeknight. On weekends I also rarely have more than one, unless something's on like we're going to town, or it's a party, or if I do watch football at the pub And those occasions aren't that frequent. Is it just me? Do any of you N-Europers partake in a beer a night? Should I be concerned with my own intake? It's not something I really thought about until this afternoon when a work colleague asked if i wanted to go to the pub at lunch to which I said no as I'll probably have a pint tonight. Quick addition to my post, is that I do go to the pub on my lunch break on a Friday and partake in a pint then. Am I alone in this? Am I border line alcoholic? Addicted? Or is it normalish to get home and have a beer to relax in the evening?

Rumour going round (although a terrible source) that Fox, Samus and DK are next on the discontinuation list. #Amiibogate #TheThirstIsReal Seriously hope not, I can't afford to buy a whole wave in a month. Best not be the case for waves 2 and 3 (Falcon, Mac, Pit, Shulk, Ike, MetaKnight, Bomberman all pre-orderd so far)
