Aye I hear ya. I've been battling with these 19 stones for too long. It's hard but I think its coming to a realisation that its going to take time. Sadly human bodies aren't designed to lose weight too quickly.. they see weightloss as a famine and the metabolism adjusts accordingly so it won't happen again. I'm sure you'll get there as long as you keep at it. Do you weight yourself weekly... or? p.s tuna and pasta in a tuna pasta? really??!! sounds yummers though!

Thanks. It is kinda hard for me to talk about my eating habits.. the stuff I've eaten in one night would probably put me to shame... I've had a lot of bad times in my life, and its obviously been an outlet, tipping the scales at my highest ~20.5 stone... that's pretty indicative of the levels of crap I've had to put up with. Recently with this eye surgery/contact lenses thing hit the last nail in the coffin and I thought I was gonna have a breakdown. I always struggled so much with my eating. When I've been "good" on my diet, I've been drinking litres of sugar free cordial to get a sweet hit. It as always too much for me to be able to have the diet down and the exercise at the same time. But now I feel like I can for the first time ever. I haven't reached for anything this weekend, not even sugar free sweets/juice. I had a big glass of diet coke and really enjoyed it :p I'm glad I can share this with you guys as well, completely honestly. It does lift a lot off my shoulders.

*does a dance* Been and done my half hour in the gym already (was there at half 9) My sleep is completely regulated. I got up at HALF 8 today (on a Sunday!!)... I had breakfast on a Sunday morning for the first time in YEARS. I feel full of happy... for once I'm not putting a happy face on, its here all by itself. No deep dark depression whatsoever. No hunger cravings at all. I feel full of energy and, for once in my life, in complete control. And my weight this morning was 18'5.5, the lowest so far. Yesssssssssssssss. Hopefully I've recovered from the binging sessions earlier in the week so I won't have done too much/any damage on the scales. Gonna get back onto my protein shakes as well, and get some iron pumped... yeoooo ^____________^

ohmygoohmygod. this occlusive contact is soooo weird. I thought it was moving on my eye, because i'm seeing light coming through sometimes... just worked out whats causing it... Every time I'm exposed to minimal light my pupil is expanding, so the black dot gets smaller... when I'm exposed to lots of light the black dot covers the majority of my sight.... so I'm basically seeing a mirror image of my pupil expanding and contracting... fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu~ *shudders x a million*

This might sound a bit controversial but I think the votes should be compulsory and aversion being a fineable offense.. there's no excuses for not voting... Turnout being below 50% is a disgrace

the police were faffing around work all day... (the votes were being counted somewhere near our work..) I went into work this morning and someone stopped me... they said something about polling that i didn't quite make out (and I was confused already anyway, 8am.. lol) so I was like whaaaa I'm going to work, and he talked over me as I was about to say where I was going... and said "oh you work in the cinema". Fuck you... going to the cinema at 8am wise up... Car park FULL OF CARS. Had to park on the other side of the carpark >__> Talk about big brother... I really couldn't give a shit about the vote counts...

I think I've just recently worked out what's been causing my compulsive eating... pretty saddening that it took so long, all it took was an offhand comment from my rhematologist a few months ago... what can I say I'm a bit slow to catch on... haha. but sometimes its like a mega puzzle full of thousands of pieces (symptoms) you have to make sense of. The worst part of the whole thing, is I just shrugged it off and didn't realise how bad my episodic depression (and other symptoms) has gotten. Recently I was on a TFR which had all of the vitamin supplements included... I was relieved of my symptoms entirely. I went on a sunbed last week sometime and my symptoms...gone. Last week when it was mega sunny...symptoms gone. All points towards SAD. Little did I realise theres more than just tiredness and depression associated with SAD

oh my days... I remember why I disliked contacts. Hopefully if I'm uber strict about the whole settling process it'll be fine... I managed to get it in and out pretty quickly so my eyes aren't bloodshot and I have no migraine. Just suuuch a nusiance... My eye looks funny with it in... its not 100% completely smack on centre so my pupil looks like it has a shadow... kinda like a squished sideways 8 :p

my eye poking related bloodshotness, and following migraine seem to be clearing up my contact lens is somehow MAGICALLY CORRECTING my squint.... what the fuckedy fuck. one of the mysteries of the world no one will ever be able to understand :p my mum had a complete wtf moment in the clinic when she saw my eyes weren't drifting

specially made hand painted opaque lens for treatment of double vision. The soft ones are only like translucent (like sunglasses) with just a black dot to cover the pupil. If the soft ones don't work you have to get hard ones, which cover both the pupil and coloured part of eye, have to be colour matched and hand painted (!) and they completely blackout the vision/light.. don't wanna imagine the cost for them!! on the plus side they can last up to a year/18 months if you take very good care of them. (they have to be specially washed, and disinfected EVERY BLOODY DAY, so you get all that garbage in with it) little fact - blue eyes are the most difficult to colour match, because they have the biggest range of colours; whites, greens, greys, browns, even yellow (in my case) whereas brown eyes are generally just...brown (lol) and my pupils look uneven when I have the contact lens in :p

My eyes are horrible, they go bloodshot when they are poked more than a couple of times The light thing checks the scope of your eye movement, i've had that done so many times, probably hundreds in the last year, no joke. Its horrible, makes my eyes cry, and i can't see shit all for about 5 minutes after, then they kinda expect you to still carry on with the test when your eyes have white blobs all over the show :p
