I was goin to say something like that, but then changed my mind. some poor sod died, gave their liver, when it could have been given to someone that would have used it better really. youd think if you got a second chance youd really make the most of it.

i just really did it with grim determination, and i completely understand how hard and crap you feel when youre tryin so hard, ive tried to quit more than 20 times, mostly lasting less than 2 weeks. Especially when people dont say "aw well done mate youre gettin there!", they just tell you smoking is horrible etc hehe i know how that feels. i was on about 25/30 a day when i stopped and it was costing me a damn fortune.

I used to do that myself, if i was super bored i coulda smoked a whole 20 deck in a row without even thinkin about it. thank god i stopped, i dont think thats too good for me.

right, you want to modify the bit where you go to My Connections then it doesnt let you change the address? If so you have to create a new one and erase the old one, or keep it, whatever floats your boat

the only thin i bought for my pc was its harddisk - 80 quid. i think my dad paid 250 for what i have, bear in mind that its a crap spec. I havent got thousands of pounds to spend on a pc right now. Why spend an obscene amount of money on something that goes out of date within 6 months.

1. be on a Windows Admin account.- stupid point? maybe, but i had nightmares tryin to get it work on a limited windows account. 2. Click on one of the connections you have (the wee coloured circly things) 3. Manage my connections. 4. Add new connection, type in details et voila.

These are hopefully a step towards a safer life. So what if its a "police-state", i'd rather be safe in my country! Its not fun living in a place where theres a lot of threats. And i also agree that if youve got nothin to hide you shouldn't be bothered. It's paid for one way or another, taxes, out of our pockets etc as mr_odwin said. Do we know for a fact that the ID system could have prevented this, perhaps the police there are just not up to scratch? (i am not saying they are, just you can't assume faults, without knowing how and why it happened) And also, a very small point, ID can be used to prove you are the age you are, as im sure many people like me have problems when trying to buy age restricted items or going to see a film. </essay>
