I loved how the previous episodes folded back, and how some of the doc's lines made more sense :P Reasonably good special effects! I suppose they saved all of the money for the last two episodes

Best day of the year Sorry about your lack of luck in job hunting. I do remember being in/leaving education, and how god awful it was getting a job! *hughug* --- in other n00s my day was pretty dull. My lungs are getting worse as opposed to better. Not sure if the antibiotics are working. I'd like to have this out of the way for my orthoptic apt. If I need surgery and ive got a bad chest infection there's no way its happening. =(

Yes, that and dvd playage. I haven't got a blu-ray collection (or a ps3) so thats probably something I don't need right away, but could consider in the fuuuture. -No fancy processing, just capable processing. -no tv tuner, already have digital freeview with the TV set -probably minimal gaming, nothing extremely resource hoggy -I wouldn't mind a sound card, but I can live without. Probably from the machine itself. I do have some HDD's somewhere. I can potentially use them (if i can find them haha) but i'm also interested in the newfangled solid state drives for speed and quietness. Last I recall they were just out and insanely priced but I don't know if they've come down to an affordable level. I'm up for an ongoing project! edit: haha wes you aren't a bit wise! Thanks for the apple input though, appreciated

Bah my chest infection is worse... I've been taking my antibiotics and its not improving at all. Its' a lower RTI, more serious and uncommon than normal (no runny nose/sneezing and less coughing) instead your lung capacity is worsened and coughing feels like you might tear your lungs apart >___> because of my suseptability to infection this may end up getting worse before it gets better, aka pneumonia. Crap. I thought it was odd that I hadn't had any serious infections in 5 years of taking these insane drugs. I thought the docs had made it into more than it was.. That's me told I wish I could throw some happy sentiment into this post.... ...... ...... Nope.. Nothing!

I've been thinking about building/buying a base unit to use as a media device/computer. I've got a tv to connect to it, I'm pretty sure the viable connections would be either VGA or HDMI. Happy enough to build, open to suggestions, Apple (constructive suggestions plz) or PC wise. Budget isn't fixed, but I don't want to waste a unneccesary amount of money. Ideally I'd like it to be quiet (fanless where possible), relatively small (although options are open for a normal case) and be able to run HD vids without stuttering =P I'm interested in those new fancy solid state drives, but i've not really kept up in the latest specs n standards. So this is where you clever up to date buffs come in!

flips sake, i've got strong antibiotics and this chest infection is not clearing!! Urggh. Infact its getting worse and my breathing capacity is really affected

If any of you have actually seen the higher level payscales, its a bloody good job they are being frozen. The difference between my spinepoints is about 600ish p.a, whereas theirs is anywhere between 1 and 2k p.a!

if its for a laptop it wouldnt be suitable, and you can get a lot better for your money these days (its like 4 years old now) but I do agree its a brilliant mouse. If you want a goooood logitech you'll need to be looking at round about 40/50, but I mean the battery life is incredible.. my logitech uses 2 AAA's in about 8 months (and I use it all of the time) this looks like a newer/cheaper model of the logitech nano (which is the one I have)

It's disgusting that they aren't taxing people who drink and smoke. These things aren't life dependant, like food & petrol. I am a drinker (on ocassion) and I wouldn't care if they taxed it, I'd just drink a bit less if I couldn't afford it. I feel for the families that are struggling as it is without all of these rises. And I heard about the DLA thing too, definitely a positive step, its about time they got checked.

went home yesterday and went to the doc, apparently i've got a chest infection. bah. Doc said my sister had to be put in the garage in the meantime (glandular fever), cause of my potential to get complications. haha.

I've been feeling a bit rubbish lately... and then my throat started to niggle at me this weekend. It's getting pretty bad today, cue a horrendous coughing/vomiting fit, now my glands are swollen. best of all my sister has glandular fever... which makes the liver swell and can lead to complications - especially for me being high risk liver/infection patient seems like i have the best luck evar. =(
