  1. I've got some Ocarina of Time Zelda, Link and Ganondorf action figures, picked them up in a box set in an Electronics Boutique for only $12 a few years back. Somewhere, (I hope I aint thrown it out) I've got a hardback book that collected some of the Nintendo comics that were put out in the late 80's/early 90s. Nothing else, I looked at some of the plushes once but hated the feel of the material on my hands. I'd probably buy an ocarina if I ever saw one in a store, not bothered enough to get one off eBay or anything like that.

Speaking of video clip related seizures, anyone know if it's possible to download the infamous seizure-inducing clip from Pokemon, really want to see that.
  3. Yep, and the clerics know this is coming in the next 7 years as part of "the cleansing". This could be seen as hugely racist, but what the hey.
  4. All this PC stuff just annoys the hell out of me, even the little things, it's not PC to call female actors actresses etc etc. And the idea of "Winter Lights" is just f*cking ridiculous, we're not celebrating Winter (Hooray, our heating bills are going to go up and loads of old people will die!! WHOOOO!!) we're celabrating Christmas. I've always said that while it may have started that way, the majority of people who celabrate Christmas, don't celabrate it as a religious holiday, but they're still celebrating Christmas whether they know of it's origins or not. They'll be abolishing Christmas altogether and coming up with "Diversity Day" or some such crap before you know it. Maybe they know something we don't.
  5. Thats why its safer to keep it on its side. I was going to keep it stood up but after reading about it decided against that, that and it won't fit under the telly stood up.
  6. I played "Warrior Within" first and later "Sands of Time", not sure if it's because I played "SoT" on PC and the controls weren't as good as the GC ones but I prefered "WW", true the music was shite, and there wasn't much need for the prince to start swearing and talking like hes been smoking too much all his life, but I felt it was a better game. Bought "The Two Thrones" for GC today, looking forward to getting home on Thursday so that I can actually play it.
  7. You're a genius.
  8. - Knights of the Old Republic 2 (XBox last year, PC this year) - Great game, good if you like RPGs, even better if you like RPGs and Star Wars. - Timesplitters: Future Perfect (XBox/PS2/NGC) - A lot of fun, excellent in multiplayer, and the story in the single player campaign is much better than TimeSplitters 2, also one of the few games that has actually made me laugh at points. - Mario Kart DS - Sonic Rush

Had seen the first one, second ones brilliant though. Id never heard the song before watching the PS3 one, sounds strange at regular speed.
  10. XBox 360 and PGR3, was just going to get the machine and buy my own games, but the only way Woolies were doing preorders was with a game, and I wanted the limited edition of Perfect Dark. The Doctor Who box set. Don't know what else.
  11. Wow, buy 2 get 1 free. ahem Quite good, the Pikachu bit was hilarious.
  12. Acting piratey has always been hilarious though, I blame the Sea Captain from The Simpsons. "How did you not see that boat" "Y'argh, 2 glass eyes"
  13. Could definitely do with some more Wonderfalls, such a shame that theyd made plans for up to the season 3 premiere, and we'll never get to see it.
  14. Never heard of a splade? I use 'em all the time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Splade In need of sequels: Serenity Farscape Angel Beyond Good & Evil Thing that doesn't need a sequel, but needs a rerelease: Tetris, I want a bog standard rerelease on the DS, alrite make the graphics a little better and add color, but other than that no changes, I want the same music, the same options, everything, later editions of this game just ruined it.
  15. Would be cool, just don't know how they could do it without it being far more violent than the rating they want will allow, can't imagine having the coating ripped off all his bones would look pleasant.
  16. Trailers apparantly at 7pm Eastern time = midnight GMT. They should have got Joss Whedon to do this, he's doing a cracking job on "Astonishing X-Men", apparantly the only thing that stopped him taking the X-Men3 gig was that they were insistant it hit cinemas next May, whereas WonderWoman has no deadline. Might interest people to know that Sideshow Bob returns to The Simpsons next Sunday (US).
  17. According the official 360 magazine, nope. DivX compatible DVD players cant be much now, we got a DVD/VCR/DivX player last Boxing Day for just over £120, I'd imagine theyve come down a bit since then, especially with recordable ones becoming more affordable.
  18. Mine was ordered on November 15th, arrived 8am this morning, cant ask for much better than that. Thank you Woolworths. Now just got to wait till Christmas so I can play the thing.
  19. hoorah, my copy of perfect dark is "dispatching soon" off amazon (where strangely the limited edition was the same price as the regular one), now just hope Woolies werent lying when they said my xbox would arrive tomorrow or friday. dont get to play it till xmas though.
  20. That's all I'll be doing Christmas Day 9am: Thanks mum and dad, now clear off 9.05: perfect dark and kameo playing 10am: breakfast 10.30: perfect dark and kameo playing 3pm: turkey 4pm: perfect dark and kameo playing 7ish: doctor who 8ish: perfect dark and kameo playing I do have a suspicion I won't be allowed to do this.
  21. Winter Lights? God I hate all this PC crap, if you have to call them something other than Christmas lights then I suppose "Holiday Lights" would be better, "winter lights" though?
  22. Um, why bother. In my opinion the US boxes are much better. I've no argument with Play, use them all the time, always reliable, get DVDs early too.
  23. I thought I'd left it too late, on Saturday I went in and put my name on a list in Woolies , Monday afternoon they rang up and ordered it for me over the phone, the premium unit and Project Gotham (which I had intended to trade immediatly (not one for realistic racers) for Kameo, but seeing the reviews it's getting I may well keep it and buy Kameo) and guaranteed delivery on the 2nd. God bless Woolies if they get it to me, and I'll reward them by phoning in sick on Boxing Day, I'll be Perfect Dark-ing.
  24. Veronica Mars is a great show, but, as you said, a difficult show to describe and get across how good it is. It becomes an even more difficult sell when someone watches episode 2 and sees that is has Paris Hilton in it, but she's only in the one, so don't let it put you off. I really didn't have the foggiest as to whodunnit till the final episode, can't wait till I get the DVD so I can try and spot the clues. Season 2 starts this week, should be great, and with the added bonus of a bikini-clad Charisma Carpenter!
  25. Well, one of the reasons they brought it back was DVD sales, so they want to start making more money off of it as soon as possible, strange that they reckon 13 episodes is a decent amount when a few years ago (in the US) they held back on releasing season 1 to put it in the same box as season 2 (making Volume 1) so that it would have lots of episodes on it. Wonder if Fox in the UK will do the same, or wait till all the episodes from this season (I believe the order was 35, 3 of which are the movie) have been aired on the BBC and able to be put on DVD.
