Super Smash Bros Wii U is the better game, but original Smash I played an insane amount and have great Uni memories of it. Mario Kart 8 undoubtedly. Mario Party 2. Sports... Hmmm.... Probably Mario Tennis 64.

THey've said there is but it's delayed. Conspiracy theorist me was thinking maybe they're delaying it as they know Nintendo are going to announce NX event today and they talk about it....

To be fair, loads of rumours are saying this week, the WSJ guy said he's heard it's this week but not directly, so let's see. There'll be an empty hole in all of us once it's been unveiled.

Sonys download speeds have always been awful for me, laughably bad. Also very rarely auto downloads when I ask it to from the website either.

Obviously the NX doesn't have any hype outside of gaming, it hasn't been revealed or officially spoken about in a year. But the fact nintendo haven't said a word in so long and no-one officially knows anything about it, NX does have a huge amount of hype within the gaming community. Anyways, is this the week? Finally?!?!!

Yeah it is, don't know why I haven't looked too much into it, there's a 3ds game I have which is pretty much the same gameplay, it's good, but I guess the other games just appealed to me more, and it's quite expensive at £25 for what it is.

Played this again last night and had a much better experience, think I was just taken aback by how lowres it is... I was beginning to think it may be something I'm doing as looking at videos the image looks a lot cleaner. Also, mine seems to have this thing where it focusses where you look, so if you side-eye something it's a little blurry.... But videos everything seems absolutely fine... How do other people feel about the resolution? Anyways, I'm sort of over that and everything felt a little better - or maybe it was just the games; tried the demos - Battlezone was way better than expected. Eve seemed great. Rigs was pretty good too, but actually think I'll get battle zone or Eve (me and my mate want an online game to play). But they all felt good, being inside things and looking out really works. One game which did surprise me and I'm probably going to buy it is Headmaster, the football heading game. That was amazing, it felt great, love the dark story and there seems to be loads more to it than I thought. Drive Club was also pretty good considering I don't like driving sims, but that looked absolutely appalling. Finally played Rez too which was great fun, never played the original. Don't fully get it though I don't think - do you have to time things to music? Just felt like I was pressing x, moving me head about then letting go. Didn't seem to have loads of strategy and felt more like a shoot em up than a rhythm game. Felt amazing in VR though!!

This is a joke question isn't it? It's the same thing. If by Kav's understanding it's all about power then who wouldn't want it to be more powerful? I don't understand....

OI'm with kaepora, Ronnie is being bullied, he has been for a long time. And by the same members, though that group seems to be growing, and some who are mods and should act better. This place has been pretty bad for a long long long time and so many great members have left because of it. It isn't getting better, I don't post here as much as I used to, I know "active" members like Dakota rarely post. I hope it improves when the NX is announced, but I fear it will get even worse. On the NX front, there's been an increasing load of rumours saying it IS powerful and a home console and has a mobile element but not an adjoining handheld... But A handheld will come, so multiple devices... I've got two the stage where I don't actually want that, I want nintendo to develop for one platform. It's the best way!! I'd take much lower power for a hybrid.

Depends on how much resolution bothers you, it doesn't me too much so I don't mind, but it does take a huge drop compared to a HD tele.

Worlds is not in the same league as Wii Sports, but it's pretty much identical in concept - 5 games to introduce the various things VR can do. Had a dabble with PSVR, at first it was a little disappointing - it was much lower res than I expected, it's pretty annoying with glasses, and there's a fuzz which floats in front of your eyes, smearing everything; but it didn't take long to get past all that. Ocean Descent is good fun, didn't realise there was more than one dive. I was surprised at Scavangers Odyssy, didn't even know it was on there to be honest. It was good fun and felt great to look where you want to shoot; made me think a game like this could really work, but this game in particular is pretty bad - the graphics are appalling, but the biggest crime is that it auto aims too... so the look to shoot, which feels amazing, is borderline pointless because it'll fire wherever anyway.... It also made me feel a bit queasy... Looking forward to playing actual games tonight like Rez and Thumper!!

I think Nintendoland is absolutely incredible, some of the best party games going. As for single player, yeah there's a lot there, personally though, other than the ninja star and Baloon rightly for a short time, and Donkey kong for a long time (it's brilliant), I preferred playing Metroid, Pikmin and Zelda in multiplayer (all brilliant) and couldn't engage as much on my own.

Yeah, got all my stuff and games, haven't tried it out yet though thanks to work and a friend coming over! Hopefully this evening, definitely the weekend, can't wait!! I have Thumper, rez, tomb raider, until dawn, worlds and downloaded all the free stuff from the store. Tempted by batman, the bomb disposal game, rigs and anything well reviewed!!

Mario kart 8 looks infinitely more impressive than uncharted 2... I'm with Ashley, VR will run alongside traditional gaming brilliantly. I'm excited. Night.

Hero''s list is pretty good!! I'd put Pikmin 3 to the front of the list though. Incredible incredible game!!!! There are LOADS of eshop games - but don't want to overwhelm you, there's a lot here already! OH, and splatoon, that and Pikmin 3, I wouldn't wait, get them in!!

Yeah ordered them. Reviews do say the move controllers and the camera are what let it down if anything, but hopefully it'll all be fine!! Hope the entertainment apps and experiences arent too far behind, want to watch short films and such!

Yeah, it's lot of money for not offering loads, but it feels far too futuristic not to get one and money isn't an issue so an easy decision, I'll definitely come back with my thoughts. Just understanding things, pretty confusing and there isn't loads of info. There's supposed to be loads of games at launch but nowhere has them for preorder.... also not ecstatic about buying a camera nd controllers for an extra 115.... oh well!!!

That review does mention it, but bush it off saying it isn't a big deal as a reset sorts it out. I didn't care when Skyward sword needed resetting so can't see it bothering me!! Can't wait now. Hope the small fov doesn't bother me. What is the GEAR's? I've been on that and didn't care at all if that pretty small too. Also, super stardust ultra, it says 'compatible', does that mean the fact I already own it mean it'll work? But drive club says required so that's a new version of the game?

Getting good reviews, looks great, can't wait for this. HOWEVER, I am going to wait for this - I've changed.... Lots of games, big backlog, PSVR in a couple of weeks... This feels like a great christmas game to me!!

Ordered zelda lot, the first ones I may keep in the packaging. And Boo and Waluigi. I still love them, they look incredible in one big group on my sheleves, but the excitement is definitely dropped. Like Hero said, bring them back in style with NX with some really great implementation and I'll still buy them all.... especially if they have an amiibo cabinet on the NX that houses them all digitally....
