Will open gates in 2 mins if anyone wants to visit for Marina's birthday. If I don't reply I'm AFK ha And if anyone has a blue tulip they really really don't want I would more than gladly take it off their hands -
I can't see anyone being negative who hasn't played the game. Just ones who have, and don't like it.

Every visitor offers something for different people, if you're really into hedges/flower breeding I imagine Leif is pretty useful, but I agree he doesn't need to be one of the guaranteed ones. Personally I don't mind him, Kicks on the other hand...

Just 5% of your usual visits. And knowing the extra 10 minutes I'll need tomorrow to clear up all those unwanted extra flowers you bloom -

If anyone wants any of the following let me know which and I'll open up later. Painting is real, statues are fake. Also the shop: -
You can't give bugs and fish. It's designed so that you have to catch them yourself over the course of a year, rather than trade them.

I'm getting serious The Last Jedi vibes with this game. Critically earning rave reviews but get it into the hands of the public and a chunk of people hate the story decisions the creators made. Maybe because it wasn't what they expected? (I haven't played either game so am just guessing)

I just assumed it was going to be another Let's Go title

Played and finished Ori and the Will of the Wisps over the past week or so, I got as close to 100% as possible (no way am I touching that "finish the game without dying" achievement). Overall really enjoyed it, probably an 8+/10. The game sort of reminds me of Nintendo games in the sense that the devs there tend to focus on making sure the character is fun to control. You can tell they really focused on that in both Ori games because even though the platforming is floaty, the traversal is tons of fun, especially later in the game when you unlock loads of abilities. I did think the game was a tad formulaic and predictable, it didn't really do much new, at all. You never really get lost in the game, it's pretty clear exactly where you need to go at all times, so it's more of a watered down Metroidvania compared to something like Hollow Knight. I'm also really not a fan of them removing the checkpoint system from the first game. I thought that was a real shame, yes it makes the game more convenient but it removes all challenge and strategy. Combat was a lot more fun though and obviously the game looks stunning. Loved the ending, didn't see that coming at all. Overall, great game!

https://www.ign.com/articles/ea-star-wars-games-future If EA can keep up the high quality of Fallen Order, Battlefront II (eventually) and hopefully Squadrons, then this news sounds good to me. Though I'd still prefer Disney offer the license on a per studio/per game basis.

I've dropped off the game a fair bit now, still go on every day but just for the daily routine. I've put 300+ hours in according to my Switch clock though so I've most definitely gotten my money's worth (and then some!) but if they want to keep me, and I suspect others on here, around Nintendo really need some kind of content drop, and soon. Not just monthly events but new functionality and things to collect/do. The summer season has helped a bit but it's not quite enough really. Villagers could do with a major personality injection too, they had far more to say and do in New Leaf. I get that Covid is a thing obviously but hopefully they have something lined up for release asap.

I'm looking for a couple of statues to display on my island where it obviously doesn't matter if they're real or fake, and I'm sure people like to put the paintings in their houses or whatever. -

For some reason I was expecting this game to be a Mario 64 type evolution and go fully 3D. Looks pretty fun though. -
In reply to "Nintendo are fully focused on mobile right now" comments on here earlier in the year... Nintendo unlikely to further pursue major mobile efforts
