Think I'm at Operation 007-B and this game has turned into a real chore to finish. It's just too frustrating to enjoy, huge boss battles especially, but even things like taking on two of the larger enemies at once, I just feel like throwing the console out the window. Also the levels are way way way too long. I enjoyed it at first going through levels, exploring solving puzzles etc but now I just can't wait to finish this so I can move on to Zelda.

That artwork, especially the ginormous res 9000 pixel across version, is beautiful, but I don't really like the white background. Would have preferred it to be cloudy maybe, anything but the photoshop transparency pattern. Still, glorious piece of art.

Box arts aren't really a strongpoint of the Layton series

Instead of drawing on a blank canvas on Miiverse, you can stamp a pre-determined pic anywhere you want in the drawing area, and then draw/write around it.

The stamp collectable in each level and the way you use them on Miiverse is such a clever idea, I hope they implement this in more games. It'd be Nintendo's way of doing achievements.

Are there any missables with the gallery? I forget where to start that side quest, any vague hints please?

I wish there was a less intrusive way to take screen caps, really throws you out of the game. Having said that, any advice on the best, easiest site to upload to?

Just sold my GAME copy on eBay for £35 and bought one off Amazon with a proper box for £40, free delivery, will get it next week, oh well, at least you guys only have to wait another day.

I have hardly any Nintendo clutter on my shelves, so really happy with the figurine, but the non PAL copy of of the game, urgh. Oh well I've put it on ebay for £35.

Ganondorf edition (which looks great btw!) arrived from GAME today. Unfortunately I hate the international version of the game box !!!!! It's the one with the purple triangle (instead of green) on the spine. Damn it, it shouldn't make a difference but somehow it's really bugging me.

Looking to buy this in the next couple of days (I don't really like the redesign so keen on getting it before the current model is discontinued). Was tempted by the £170 WIFI model on Amazon, don't need 3G, even if it's the same price at Tesco. Just wondering if anyone else came across a better offer/discount code?

Never played a Pokemon game, never really even been close to getting one, but somewhat tempted to try this one. Can't decide whether to give it a go or not.

Galaxy had branching paths in every level, this one won't. (not saying that's a bad thing)

Read beyond the first line, instead of adopting your usual child-like, clueless, blinkered approach to arguing.

Having thought about the trailer some more, I actually think Nintendo were quite smart with their reveals for this game. If they'd released this awesome trailer at E3 everyone would be still be moaning that it wasn't an epic Galaxy-like game and the hype would have been mixed. Instead they released a modest one, got everyone talking about the game (for better or worse) and then dropped this bomb, creating MASSES of hype, less than two months before release. It worked out for the best IMO, building the hype gradually towards release.
