Slowdown for this? And people think Mario 3D Land would work well online?

I love the whole Forest Haven part of this game, just so full of magic and charm. I loved making your way to the top of the Deku Tree, loads of fun and a great view from that high up. And visually, the Forbidden Woods dungeon is pretty stunning as well.

Hopes of a game length doubling a la 3D Land are dwindling more and more

It's really hard to know you've completed it and not being able to ask loads of questions about how good/bad it is!! The 14th (and 22nd) can't come quick enough.

It's a fair point really, the game is exactly the same, it shouldn't have to be cheaper as a digital download, apart from maybe a few quid to cover packaging, shipping etc. Makes sense IMO. Their arguments would be much more solid if they had a better account system in place though.

No way, I like to take my time with a big game, especially Zelda! Hate the thought of rushing through a game just to start another one. I'll probably leave Mario for around Christmas time.

Anyone else can't decide which to play first between this and Zelda? I don't like to play two games at the same time.

I've never had any problem with GAME, I don't understand this bizarre hatred of them. If you like the exclusive just get it

Finished the game, really enjoyed my first Pokemon, though I'm not sure I could play another one if it's the same basic formula. Really liked the ending cutscene too, heart-strings well and truly tugged at. Lovely visuals overall. If anyone cares, my final team: Xerneas, Yveltall, Chesnaught, Charizard, Blastoise and Lucario

Managed to get Xerneas and Yvettal in the same game, but wow their base defence stats are appalling.

This game doesn't seem like one that's going to wow many people. I hope it's a great game but the impression I get is it still seems like they're playing it quite safe. Doing dungeons in any order shouldn't be seen as them taking a risk and doing something bold.

They're also doing a feature video on the game and yet haven't been bothered to check the release date. Sloppy.

It does look good, but I have this nagging impression that it's going to be very casual-friendly and dumbed down. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Which Gamexplain video is that? I guess it makes sense anyway, if there are approx 80 stamps, that means 80 levels which could only happen if the game doubled like 3D Land.

Ashley would you be able to say if the game is as long as 3D Land? You know after the whole level-doubling thing.

I was sort of hoping it would breed but seems not. As a newcomer to Pokemon and someone who hasn't even ran into Xerneas yet, is it possible to catch more than one of the same legendary?

As an X player, is there a way of getting the 'Y' legendary, without owning the game?

Out of principle because there's no online or because you're not interested in single player Mario? Either way I think you're going to be missing out big time whilst the rest of us are gushing about this glorious game
