Played this at Eurogamer, really impressed with it. The animation is so smooth it makes it a joy to play. I still think the art style is a bit bland and uninspired but it still played great, especially with 3D turned on.

How did you manage two spins Ashley!? I spun once, it seemed to land on Zelda stickers but then fell back to Pikmin keyring (rock type), chuffed. Back tomorrow and Sunday. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the queues, but then I didn't bother with PS4 and Xbone. Mario Kart 8 only had two displays, so that was about a 15 minute wait, but otherwise easy enough. The Nintendo booth was a bit smaller than the other two but was always packed. Annoying having to play 3D World with three others though, not a fan of multiplayer Mario. Link Between Worlds was great, it played beautifully, so smooth with lovely animations.

Streetpass galore at the Eurogamer expo! Got 60 or 70 today. NintendoLife have a streepass area which is pretty cool but otherwise waiting in queues is a good time to ship another ten in at a time.

Password protects a home console but smashes gaming devices in fits of rage... oh the ironing

I can understand passcode protecting a phone, but a home console?? What difference does it make if it was protected or not? And would a Wii U really be top priority for a burglar?

Trouble is they can't talk about a retail release now because it wouldn't be released till all 5 sports were available probably next year as it'd probably cannibalise digital sales.

I personally don't see what all the fuss is about with X, and much prefer the NES titles (+ 9 and 10).

I agree but maybe they will when all 5 sports are available? Only reason they're releasing two sports now is to get something out before Christmas?

I think you were too caught up with the idea that a remake can't get more than an 8 and the fact that the game is 10 years old to judge it fairly. The game is spectacular and the remake has considerably improved it. Anyway, Metacritic up to 90 now.

The pricing model seems ridiculously good for people who already have Wii Fit, I guess they figured people weren't going to shell out another £40 for the same basic package. Though I expect the Fit Meter to be about £20, if not a tad more.

Zzzzzz at the moaning about the price. This looks fantastic, genuine cheer when they mentioned online. I'm sure there'll be an offer if you want to buy all five. Have to agree that the tennis colour palette looks a little bland but oh well.

I'm not annoyed Nintendo left that glaring omission in the game but I think they could have given us a mini dungeon of sorts in it's place, sort of like the colour dungeon they included in the DX version of Link's Awakening. It could have been the same sort of size and challenge as he fire and ice mini dungeons in the game, but water themed or something. 20 minutes to complete, then you get the final pearl.

So, deku leaf brought back for future Zeldas yay or nay? Yay x a million IMO
